Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
Objective To explore the diagnosis and treatment of fat embolism syndrome past fracture(FES).Methods From January 1990 to December 2004,16 cases of FES post fracture were treated including 7 cases of post femoral fracture;4 post tibia and fibular fracture;3 post multisegmental fracture;2 post femoral neck fracture. The treatment involved effective restriction of movement and the early use of large doses of dexamethasone. Results All 16 cases regained full consciousness with normal life symptoms. Conclusion Prevention is very important.Besides, early diagnosis and effective treatment is the key to reduce the death rate from FES.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(12):-
Objective To investigate the effects of CO 2 pneumoperitoneum on circulation, P ET CO 2 and blood gas during laparoscopic hepatectomy. Methods Fourteen patients underwent laparoscopic hepatectomy with CO 2 pneumoperitoneum. The MAP, HR, CVP, P ET CO 2 , airway pressure and blood gas were monitored respectively before, 30min, 60min, 120min after pneumoperitoneum, and 10min and 30min after deflation of the abdomen. Results The HR, P ET CO 2 , PaCO 2 , and plood K + were significantly higher 30min after pneumoperitoneum compared with the values before pneumoperitoneum (P
3.Observation of Clinical Efficacy of Tiopronin for Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease
China Pharmacy 2005;0(23):-
OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy of Tiopronin in treating non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.METHODS:104 patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease were randomly divided into therapy group and control group:52 patients in therapy group were treated with Tiopronin for 3 months, and 52 in control group with Hugan tablets(liver-protection tablets)for 3 months.Serum transaminase, blood lipid levels and other parameters in the two groups were detected before and after treatment.RESULTS:The therapy group was superior to the control group in lowering ALT,AST,TC and TG(P

Objective To investigate the efficacy of antagonistic muscle acupuncture on upper limb spasticity post stroke. Methods 120 patients with upper limb spastic hemiplegia post stroke were randomly divided into treatment group (n=60) and control group (n=60). Both groups accepted routine fundamental treatment and rehabilitation training, while the the treatment group received antagonistic muscle acupuncture and the control group received conventional acupuncture. They were assessed with modified Ashworth Scale (MAS), Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) and modified Barthel Index (BI) before and after 28-day treatment. Results The scores of MAS, FMA and BI improved in both groups after treatment (P<0.01) and improved more in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05). The efficacy was more in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion Antagonistic muscle acupuncture can reduce the upper limb spasticity, and promote the recovery of motor function and activities of daily living.

Objective To retrospectively analyze the effectiveness and safety of drug-eluting stents (DES) on prevention of restenosis in old female patients (≥65 years) with multi-vessel coronary artery disease. Methods 387 old female patients with multi-vessel coronary artery disease underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) were divided into the DES group (n=139) and the metallic stent (BMS) group (n=248). Acute and long-term outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results The ratio of patients with diabetic disease was higher in DES group than that in BMS group (P0.05). The rates of restenosis shown by angiography and major adverse cardiac events (MACE) were significantly lower in the DES group compared with BMS group (4.2% vs 15.8%, 7.5% vs 17.3%, P

Objective To evaluate the 6-month result of implantation of drug eluted stent (DES) in diabetic mellitus (DM) patients with multivessel coronary artery disease (MVD) to compare with that of bare metal stent (BMS). Methods From November 2002 to June 2005, 443 consecutive T2DM patients with MVD without previous myocardial revascularization underwent successful percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). There were 226 patients in BMS group, 91patients in Cypher stent group, and 126 patients in TAXUS stent group. The results during hospitalization and 6-month clinical follow-up were analyzed among the 3 groups. Results There were no difference in clinical characteristics, PCI success rate, and incidence of in-hospital major adverse cardiac events (MACE) among 3 groups. However, concerning the characteristics of coronary lesions, the rate of bifurcation lesions and lesion length in Cypher stent group and the rates of bifurcation lesions and triple coronary lesions in TAXUS stent group were significantly higher than that in BMS group, respectively (P

Objective To evaluate long-term clinical effectiveness in old female patients with multi-vessel coronary artery disease (≥65 years) treated with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods 601 female patients with multi-vessel coronary artery disease underwent PCI were divided into the elder group (≥65 years, n=354) and the younger group (0.05). Conclusion PCI can be performed in old female patients with multi-vessel coronary artery disease with high success rate and few complications. Long-term clinical outcomes of PCI in old females with multi-vessel disease are similar to younger females.

Objective To assess the safety and effectiveness of the drug eluting stents(DES,including Cypher and TAXUS stent)in treating patients with single- and multi-vessel de novo lesions located in small native coronary arteries with comparison of bare metal stent(BMS).Methods From December 2002 to May 2005,coronary stenting procedures were performed in 407 patients with small coronary artery lesions consecutively(among whom 150 patients with multi-vessel small coronary lesion). There were 214 patients(63 patients with multi-vessel)in BMS group,140 patients(46 patients with multi-vessel)in Cypher group and 132 patients(41 patients with multi-vessel)in TAXUS group. The results of in-hospital and 6-month clinical follow-up were analysed among the 3 groups. Results There were no differences in lesion characteristic, success rate of percutanous coronary intervention(PCI),in-hospital major adverse cardiac events(MACE)and in-stent minimal lumen diameter after PCI among 3 groups. However, angiographic restenosis occurred significantly less in two DES groups than in BMS group(4.9%in Cypher group and 7.5%in TAXUS group vs 29.2% in BMS group,P

Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(02):-
Objective To establish a method for determination of 7 preservatives, benzyl alechol, sorbic acid, benzoic acid, methyl-paraben, ethyl-paraben, propyl-paraben, butyl-paraben, in cosmetics in one time by gas chromatography. Methods The cosmetic sample was dissolved by methanol, extracted by ultrasonic and separated by packed column of DB1, the optimized experimental condition was explored also. Results The concentrations of 7 preservatives showed a positive correlation with the peak heights at the following ranges, 100-500 ?g/ml for benzyl alechol, 200-600 ?g/ml for sorbic acid, 25-500 ?g/ml for benzoic acid, methyl-paraben, ethyl-paraben, propyl-paraben and butyl-paraben, the correlative coefficients were 0.998 3-0.999 9. The detection limits were 5.5, 57.1, 29.6, 6.2, 5.5, 6.2, 6.2 ng/ml respectively. The recovery rates were 91.6%-102.7%. RSDs were 2.2%-10.2%. Conclusion The present method can perfectly separate the seven preservatives in cosmetics mentioned above with some advantages, such as simple, accurate, sensitive and quick.
