OBJECTIVE
To study the effect of different proportion compatibility of Astragali Radix and Chuanxiong Rhizoma on the extraction kinetics of flavonoids.
METHODS
The content determination method of flavonoids(with rutin as the control substance) was established, and the concentrations of flavonoids in the extracts of Astragali Radix membranicum and Chuanxiong Rhizoma in different proportions(1∶1, 1∶2, 1∶3, 1∶4, 1∶5, 2∶1, 3∶1, 4∶1, 5∶1) were determined dynamically within 2 h, respectively. The extraction kinetics model was established according to Feck's first diffusion law. The extraction rate constant was calculated and the difference of dissolution kinetics was compared.
RESULTS
The compatibility of different proportions of Astragali Radix and Chuanxiong Rhizoma had significant effects on the extraction rate and concentration of flavonoids. The extraction kinetics models of flavonoids were consistent with the characteristics of the first-order kinetic equation. The extraction rate was the fastest when Astragali Radix ∶ Chuanxiong Rhizoma was 3∶1, the extraction rate was the slowest when Chuanxiong Rhizoma∶ Astragali Radix was 2∶1. The equilibrium concentration of flavonoids was the highest when Chuanxiong Rhizoma∶ Astragali Radix was 3∶1, when the ratio of Astragali Radix∶Chuanxiong Rhizoma was 5∶1, it was the lowest.
CONCLUSION
The compatibility of different proportions of Astragali Radix and Chuanxiong Rhizoma has a significant effect on the extraction rate and concentration of flavonoids.

Objective:To analyze the status and influencing factors of empathy fatigue in hospice nurses based on ABC-X model (A: stressor event; B:resources available to a family; C: family sperceptions of the stressor; X: likelihood of crisis), so as to provide a reliable basis for developing comprehensive intervention strategies. Methods:A total of 325 nurses engaged in hospice care in China from April 2022 to June 2022 were selected by convenient sampling method. The influencing factors of empathy fatigue of hospice care nurses were analyzed by ABC-X model (working environment, resilience and coping style). The hospice care nurses were investigated by self-made general questionnaire, Chinese version of Empathy Fatigue Scale, Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, Coping Style Resilience Scale and Nursing Work Environment Scale. The statistical analysis was performed by SPSS.26.0 statistical software. Results:There were 316 females and 9 males with age of (33.0 ± 7.9) years old. The total score of empathy fatigue in 325 hospice nurses was (91.16 ± 9.60) points, the scores of empathy satisfaction, ocupational burnout and secondary traumatic stress were (31.35 ± 6.01), (28.43 ± 5.86), (31.38 ± 5.76) points respectively. The scores of positive coping style, negative coping style, psychological resilience and nursing working environment were (37.46 ± 5.69), (21.28 ± 6.90), (89.84 ± 16.46), (117.13 ± 19.95) points respectively. The negative predictive factor for empathy satisfaction among nurses with the professional title of palliative care ( t=-4.22, P<0.05), and the positive predictive factors for simple coping strategies, psychological resilience, and nursing work environment ( t=4.52, 3.05, 9.03, all P<0.05), could explain 56.7% of the total variation. Psychological resilience, simplified coping strategies, nursing work environment were negative predictive factors for occupational burnout among hospice nurses ( t=-6.93, -3.54, -2.51, all P<0.05), while work nature was a positive predictive factor ( t=2.36, P<0.05), which could explain 49.4% of the total variation. Simplified coping strategies, psychological resilience, and nursing work environment were all negative predictors of secondary traumatic stress in hospice nurses ( t=-5.40, -3.25, -5.95, all P<0.05), which could explain 48.8% of the total variation. Conclusions:Based on the ABC-X model, it is found that the empathic fatigue of hospice nurses is mainly affected by the nursing work environment, mental resilience and coping styles. It is necessary for nursing managers to actively take measures to improve the working environment and coping styles of nurses, enhance their mental resilience and reduce their empathic fatigue.

Chinese Journal of Microbiology and Immunology 2024;44(8):718-726
Mycoplasma pneumoniae ( Mp) is an important pathogen causing community-acquired pneumonia. Macrolide is the first choice for the treatment of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP), while second-line drugs like tetracyclines or quinolones will be considered for pneumonia caused by macrolide-resistant Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MRMP). The isolation rate of MRMP has increased dramatically worldwide. Data from domestic and abroad indicate that MRMP is highly prevalent in Asian regions such as Japan, China, and Korea. The main mechanism of drug resistance in Mp is mutation A2063G of 23S rRNA V. In addition, mutations in the ribosomal protein L4 and L22 genes, ribosomal methylation modifications and the formation of efflux pumps are also significant drug resistance mechanisms. In this study, we summarize the treatment of MPP, the epidemiology of MRMP and the research progress of its mechanisms systematically.

Objective:To study the cytotoxicity and malignant transformation ability of chrysotile on MeT-5A cells. Methods:In June 2016, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) method was used to detect the cytotoxicity of chrysotile to MeT-5A cells. MeT-5A cells were treated with 5 μg/cm 2 chrysotile intermittently for 24 h a time, once a week and a total of 28 times. After the cells showed anchorage independent growth, the cell features of malignant transformation were identified by colony forming frequency in soft agar, and the soft agar colony formation rates were calculated. The activities of key speed limiting enzymes of glycolysis metabolism including hexokinase (HK) , phosphofructokinase (PFK) and pyruvate kinase (PK) were determined by UV colorimetry. Results:Chrysotile was cytotoxic to MeT-5A cells in a concentration-dependent decline. Compared with the control group, the relative survival rates of MeT-5A cells were significantly decreased after exposed to chrysotile at 10, 20, 40 and 80 μg/cm 2 ( P<0.05) . After 28 times of exposure, the growth rate of the cells in chrysotile transformed MeT-5A cells was accelerated, the arrangement was disordered, the contact inhibition was lost, and the double layer growth appeared, which could grow on soft agar. The colony forming rate of the chrysotile transformed MeT-5A cells was 18.33‰±2.49‰. Compared with the control group (0) , the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.01) . The activities of glycolysis related kinase including PK [ (19.51±1.52) U/L], PFK[ (0.12±0.02) U/10 4 cell] and HK[ (0.26±0.01) U/10 4 cell] were increased in the chrysotile transformed MeT-5A cells compared with control group [ (25.00±1.04) U/L、(0.15±0.01) U/10 4 cell and (0.33±0.01) U/10 4 cell] ( P<0.01) . Conclusion:Chrysotile can induce malignant transformation of MeT-5A cells and increase the activities of glycolysis related kinases including PK, PFK and HK.
