Objective To systematically assess the efficacy of the low-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) to the right frontal cortex for depression. Methods Clinical randomized controlled trials (RCT) studies about low-frequency rTMS to the right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) for depression were collected from database such as PubMed, SCI, CBM, CNKI, and VIP. The meta-analysis using the software of RevMan 5.2 was conducted to com?pare the response rate of low-frequency rTMS to the right DLPFC with sham stimulation and high-frequency rTMS to the left DLPFC, respectively. Results Nine RCT studies with 156 patients in low-frequency rTMS group and 162 patients in sham stimulation group were included. Meta-analysis showed that low-frequency rTMS to the right DLPFC significantly improved response rate compared with sham stimulation(RR=2.15,95%CI:1.57~2.95,P<0.01). Eleven RCT studies with 178 patients in low-frequency rTMS group and 200 patients in high-frequency group were included. There was no significant difference in response rate between the two groups(RR=0.80,95%CI:0.63~1.02,P=0.07). Conclusion The efficacy of low-frequency rTMS to the right frontal cortex for depression is significant but the efficacy is not superior in comparison with the high-frequency rTMS to left DLPFC.

Objective To discuss and analyze the serum epidemiological characteristics of hepatitis B among people in Jinan in order to formulate applicable community nursing measures to control hepatitis B. Methods The serum marker of hepatitis B was tested by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in 26756 serum samples by strict operation according to the kit introduction. The data were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 software. Results The positive rate of HBsAg was 7.39%, among which the positive rate of male was 8.81% and female 5.54%, which was lower than that of the male (P<0.01). The positive rate of people lower than 20 years old was lower than those of above 20 years old. The positive rate of male from 21 to 30 years old was lower than those from 41 to 50 years old (P<0.05). No difference was seen between people with different professionals. Conclusions Vaccine inoculation of hepatitis B for susceptible population combined with community health education about hepatitis B related knowledge and comprehensive nursing intervention proved to be the pivotal measures for the control and prevention of hepatitis B.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(3):287-289
Through the discussion on TCM physiological characters of females in follicular, ovulatory, luteal and menstrual phases and treatment principles, the clinical application of artificial cycle therapy of acupuncture and moxibustion was introduced for irregular menstruation and the typical cases were attached. It is suggested that the menstrual cycle follows the growth-consumption rule of yin, yang, qi and blood. The corresponding treatment principles should be applied in accordance with the change rule of menstrual cycle. Hence, it is worth to adopt the artificial cycle therapy of acupuncture and moxibustion for irregular menstruation in clinical application.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(07):-
Aim To investigate the effects of antioxidant probucol on vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs) apoptosis induced by H2O2.Methods H2O2 (1 mmol?L-1) was used to induce VSMCs apoptosis. The VSMCs were treated with probucol(100,10,1 ?mol?L-1) for 6 hours. For the evaluation of apoptosis,Annexin V-FITC staining,Hoechest33258 staining and the TUNEL assay were used. The expressions of ASK-1 and Trx-1 were detected by Western blot analysis. Results H2O2 could promote the apoptosis of VSMCs,increase the expression of ASK-1 and decrease the expression of Trx-1.Probucol could attenuate the apoptosis induced by H2O2 in a dose-dependent,down-regulate ASK-1 expression and increase Trx-1 expression. Conclusion Probucol can antagonize the apoptosis of VSMCs induced by H2O2.The mechanism may be correlated with a decreased expression of ASK-1 and an increased expression of Trx-1.
