1.The cognition of hand-cleaning in student nurses

Objective:To investigate the knowledge of hand-cleaning in student nurses,cultivate their awareness of washing hands,improve their submitting of washing hands and standardize their washing procedure,so as to reduce the hospital-acquired infection via hands.Methods: A self-designed questionnaire on hand-cleaning-related knowledge was used to survey 100 student nurses in their clinical practice in our hospital.Results:In the 100 questionnaires,some student nurses have poor-mastering of the signs of hand-cleaning,and have indefinite concepts of the time,position and frequency of hand-cleaning.The most frequently forgotten part of hands cleaning is finger(42%),the second is wrist(29%).Lots of student nurses(92%) mistakingly thought that washing hands with warm water was much better.Conclusion:The student nurses had relatively poor knowledge on hand-cleaning,much more attention should be paid on the education of this aspect by nursing department,in order to improve self-protection and control of hospital-acquired infection effectively.
2.Heterogeneity of immunomodulatory function of exosomes derived from human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells

Objective To investigate the heterogeneity of immunomodulatory function of exosomes secreted from human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells(hUC-MSC).Methods Five different hUC-MSCs lines were isolated and cultured.Exosomes were isolated from the supernatant.The expression of specific surface markers CD9,CD63,CD81 and CD44 was detected by flow cytometry.The protein concentration of hUC-MSCs exosomes(hUC-MSCs-ex)was evaluated by the BCA assay.Concanavalin A and rhIL-2 stimulated umbilical cord blood mononuclear cells (UBMCs) from healthy donor were co-cultured at different concentrations of hUC-MSCs-ex from different cell lines for 72 h.The growth rate of UBMCs was detected by MTT assay.ELISA was used to test the levels of IFN-γ and TNF-α of the supernatants.The UBMCs co-cultured with hUC-MSCs were co-cultured with K562 cells at the ratio of 5∶1.The cytotoxic activity was calculated by MTT assay.Results hUC-MSCs-ex expressed CD9,CD63,CD81and CD44.Different hUC-MSCs lines had different regulating activities on the proliferation,secretion and killing ability of UBMCs.Conclusion hUC-MSCs-ex has heterogeneity of immunomodulatory function on UBMCs.
3.Treatment on osteopenia of maintenance hemodialysis patients with salmon calcitonin

Objective To study the effect of long-term salmon calcitonin on bone mineral density (BMD), bone metabolism biochemical indicators and subjective score of bone pain in maintenance hemedialysis (MHD) patients with osteopenia. Methods Thirty-four MHD patients diagnosed as osteopenia by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXEA) were enrolled in this study. All the patients were treated with hypodermic injection of salmon calcitonin (50 U, thrice a week) for 12 months. The detecting parameters were as follows: BMD with DEXA in lumbar spine (L1-L4), femoral neck, troch, inter, and Ward's triangle before and after the study;serum bone metabolism biochemical indicators before and 6 and 12 months after the study;subjective scores of bone pain before and 1, 6, and 12 months after the study. Results Thirty-two patients were followed-up successfully. As compared to BMD parameters before study, the total T-score (-1.98± 2.20 vs 1.26±1.88, P=0.009) and total Z-score (-0.90±2.15 vs 0.08±2.05, P=0.002) of lumbar spine, the total T-score (-1.72±1.53 vs 1.06±1.58, P=0.016) and totle Z-score (-0.66±0.80 vs 0.08±1.08, P=0.029) of hip, the T-score of L3 (-2.02±2.51 vs 1.24±2.02, P=0.033), the Z-score of L2 (-0.44±1.82 vs 0.06±1.63, P=0.016), the Z-score of femoral troch (-0.65±1.11 vs 0.48±1.12, P=0.034) and the Z-score of inter (-0.58±0.94 vs 0.02±1.12, P=0.006) were increased significantly after study. But there were no significant differences in other examined regions and serum biochemical parameters. The subjective scores of bone pain were decreased rapidly for 41.7% after 1 month (P<0.01) and 76.6% after 6 months (P<0.01). The subjective score of bone pain after 12 months was similar to 6 months. The side effects of salmon calcitonin included nausea and vomitting in 5 cases (14.71%, 5/34), dizziness, blushing and flustered in 1 case respectively (3.13%,1/32). Conclusions Long-term hypodermic injection of salmon calcitonin can improve BMD and bone pain for MHD patients with osteopenia but has no significant effect on serum bone metabolism biochemical indicators. Salmon calcitonin is safe for MHD patients with seldom side effects, such as nausea and vomitting.
4.Heat shock improves Sca-1+ cell transplantation for treatment of myocardial infarction in mice

BACKGROUND:Recent studies have found that stem cels can directly differentiate into mature myocardial cels or promote their regeneration, providing a new therapeutic strategy for the treatment of myocardial infarction. However, the low cel transplantation rate reduces the myocardial differentiation ability and myocardial repair.
OBJECTIVE: To study the role of heat shock treatment in Sca-1+ cel transplantation for treatment of myocardial infarction in mice.
METHODS:Sca-1+ cels were isolated from the bone marrow of mice using magnetic bead sorting method, and were subjected to heat shock treatment. Animal models of myocardial infarction were made in mice, and then randomized into two groups: heat shock group and non-heat shock group, which were given 1 mL heat shock-treated Sca-1+ cels and 1 mL non-heat shock-treated Sca-1+ celsvia the tail vein, respectively. After transplantation, cel survival, heart function, myocardial cel apoptosis and myocardial fibrosis were detected. Meanwhile, the expressions of heat shock factor (HSP), HSP70 and miR-34a in the left ventricle were measured.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) The expression of sry gene in the heat shock group was significantly higher than that in the non-heat shock group. (2) The left ventricular ejection fraction and fractional shortening in the heat shock group were significantly higher than those in the non-heat shock group. The left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and systolic diameter in the heat shock group were significantly lower than those in the non-heat shock group. (3) The cardiac fibrosis and myocardial cel apoptosis in the heat shock group were significantly lower than those in the non-heat shock group. (4) The HSF and HSP70 expression in the left ventricle was significantly higher in the heat shock group than the non-heat shock group, and the miR-34a expression in the left ventricle was significantly lower in the heat shock group than the non-heat shock group. These findings indicate that heat shock-treated Sca-1+ cel transplantation can reduce myocardial apoptosis and infarct size, and improve heart function of mice with myocardial infarction.
5.Clinical features and treatment of cryptogenic hemoptysis

ObjectiveTo discuss the incidence,treatment and effect of cryptogenic hemoptysis (CH).MethodsPatients with CH were selected from 231 patients with hemoptysis according to clinical evaluation,chest radiography,fiberoptic bronchoscopy and CT scan,and the clinical data and treatment methods were retrospectively analyzed.ResultsFifty-three of 231 patients referred for CH,the incidence of CH was 22.94 % (53/231),of which 45 (45/53,84.91% ) received internal conservative treatment and 8 (8/53,15.09%) received bronchial artery embolization (BAE).High resolution CT (HRCT) showed ground-glass opacities in 20 CH patients after hemoptysis.Bronchial arteriography showed abnormalities,including arterial enlargement and localized hypervascularity in 8 patients and systemic to pulmonary shunting in 3 patients.No recurrence of hemoptysis was observed during 1 to 8-year follow-up.ConclusionBleeding can be controlled in most of CH patients by internal conservative treatment,only a few patients with massive hemoptysis need BAE,and both treatments have good short and long term results.

Qiancengta, a traditional Chinese medicine produced from the whole plant of the club moss Huperzia serrata, has been used for a long history in China for treatment of a number of ailments, including contusions, strains, swellings, schizophrenia, myasthenia gravis and noworganophosphate poisoning. It has become known worldwide as a medicinal plant since Chinese scientists discovered huperzine A from it in the 1980s, which is reversible, potent and selective acetylcholine esterase (AChE) inhibitors by in vitro and in vivo pharmacological, and produce definite effects in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Now, Qiancengta is popular in all over the word for his famous pharmacological actions. For further exploitation this valuable resource under protection of nature environmental, its biological and ecological features, pharmaceutical active ingredients, artificial propagation and in vitro tissue culture, were reviewed, and the sustainable use of Qiancengta natural resource through plant biotechnology was put on the agenda.

7.Effects of accumulated 6aCo γ-ray irradiation on the small molecular metabolites in rats urine

Objective To explore the effects of accumulated 60CD,γ-ray irradiation on small molecular metabolites in rats urine.Methods Ten healthy male SD rats were irradiated by 60Co γ-rays in 5 days and the accumulated doses were 0,0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8,1.0 Gy,respectively.The metabolites in urine of different groups were measured with 1 H-NMR combined with principal components analysis (PCA) and partial least square discriminate analysis (PLS-DA). Results The metabolites in rat urine were obviously changed after irradiation. Compared with control group,the amount of acetoacetate decreased after irradiation(t =29.7 -30.7,P < 0.05 ),but its relative level was stable when the dose increased ( P > 0.05 ).Meanwhile,the relative level of hippuric acid increased ( t =4.4 - 21.6,P < 0.05 ) especially when the accumulated dose was higher than 1 Gy (t =21.6,P<0.05). The relative level of proline,taurine and trimethylamine-N-oxide increased after irradiation with the same trend( t =3.5 - 13.4,4.7 - 11.5,2.9- 12.7,P<0.05). Conclusions The acetoacetate,hippuric acid,proline,taurine,and trimethylamine-N-oxide may be applicable for biomarkers of accumulative irradiation on rat.
8.Progress in the researches for antitumor NEDD8 activating enzyme inhibitors

Inhibition of NEDD8 activating enzyme (NAE),the rate limiting enzyme in Neddylation,can suppress the activity of ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS) pathway and decrease degradations of related proteins,resulting in cell apoptosis.Compared with the proteasome inhibitors,NAE inhibitors can interfere with cellular homeostasis with more specificity.With the rapid development of the research on NAE,a variety of NAE inhibitors have been reported.According to the structure characteristics,NAE inhibitors can be divided into the AMP analogues,double flavonoids deoxidization duckbill alkali ketone derivatives and metal rhodium complex classes,etc.The process of ubiquitinated modified Neddylation,NAE and physiological role of tumor has been introduced in this paper,and the latest progress of NAE inhibitors also has been summarized.
9.Effect of meridian acupoint massage on gastrointestinal dysfunction in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with phlegm heat accumulation

Objective Based on the theory of "lung and large intestine form", to observe the improvement of gastrointestinal function and pulmonary symptoms in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with phlegm heat accumulation and find the best meridians and acupoints. Methods A total of 120 patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with phlegm heat accumulation and gastrointestinal dysfunction were randomly divided into intervention 1 group (lung meridian group), intervention 2 group (large intestine meridian group) and intervention 3 group (lung meridian and large intestine meridian group) and control group. There were 30 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional treatment and nursing. The intervention group was treated with acupoint massage along meridians, 1 times a day for 20 minutes, and the intervention lasted for 10 days. The scores of gastrointestinal symptoms, clinical symptom scores and C reactive protein among 4 groups were compared. Results The scores of gastrointestinal symptoms, clinical symptom scores and C reactive protein were decreased in all groups after intervention compared with those before intervention, and the difference was statistically significant (F=9.736, 2.980, 0.894, P<0.01 or 0.05). After intervention, the difference of the scores of gastrointestinal symptoms among four groups were statistically significant (Ftime=213.423, F interaction =2.540, Fgroup =3.184, P<0.01 or 0.05). The difference of the scores of clinical symptoms among four groups were statistically significant( Ftime =337.859, P<0.01). The difference of C reactive protein among four groups was statistically significant (F=0.894, P<0.05). Conclusions Acupoint massage can effectively reduce the score of the symptoms of the gastrointestinal tract, the integral of clinical symptoms and the C reaction protein, and the effect of the massage of the meridians and collaterals. The effect of massage in the lung and the coliform meridian acupoint group is the best.
10.Interaction between obesity/central obesity and hypertension

Objective:
To examine the effects of obesity and central obesity on hypertension, so as to provide insights into the prevention and control measures of hypertension.
Methods:
From September to December 2018, residents at ages of 35 to 75 years were sampled using the multi-stage random sampling method in Baiyin District, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, and subjected to questionnaire surveys and physical examinations. The interaction between obesity/central obesity and hypertension was evaluated using logistic regression analysis. The synergy index ( SI ), relative excess risk due to interaction ( RERI ) and attributable proportion due to interaction ( AP ) were calculated using Excel compiled by Andersson et al.
Results:
A total of 6 246 questionnaires were allocated and 6 169 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 98.77%. The respondents included 3 038 men ( 49.25% ) and 3 131 women (50.75%), with a mean age of ( 52.05±8.78 ) years. There were 832 respondents with obesity ( 13.49% ) and 2 278 with central obesity ( 36.93% ). The crude and standardized prevalence rates of hypertension were 35.89% and 33.05%, respectively. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that obesity ( OR=2.020, 95%CI: 1.705-2.393 ) and central obesity ( OR=1.622, 95%CI: 1.433-1.836 ) were statistically associated with hypertension. There was no multiplicative interaction between obesity or central obesity and hypertension ( OR=1.011, 95%CI: 0.655-1.560 ), and no additive interaction was detected between obesity or central obesityand hypertension ( SI=1.405, 95%CI: 0.815-2.424; RERI=0.658, 95%CI: -0.298 to 1.614; AP=0.201, 95%CI: -0.075 to 0.476 ).
Conclusions
Obesity and central obesity increase the risk of hypertension; however, no interaction is detected between obesity or central obesity and hypertension.
