1.Current researches on proteins associated with polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy

Polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) is one of the ocular fundus diseases and can cause severe visual impairment or blindness.The occurrence of PCV may be related to certain proteins.The imbalance between angiogenesis stimulating factors and inhibiting factors can cause choroid vascular abnormalities,which promotes PCV formation.Matrix metalloproteinases and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases can regulate extracellular matrix metabolism and subsequently regulate the choroid neovascularization.Increase of oxidized low density lipoprotein can break down the balance between matrix metalloproteinases and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases,which promotes the choroid neovascularization.The decrease of elastin can lead to damage and expasion of blood vessel walls,and promote the choroid neovascularization.Some inflammatory factors,such as TGF-β,TGF-α,IL-6 and monocyte chemo attractant protein-1 etc,are also associated with the choroid neovascularization.In addition,it was also found that the expression levels of C-reactive protein,complement factors and thioredoxin in PCV patients are higher than those in the normal control.This article reviewed research progression in the related proteins during the process of PCV.
2.THE EXPRESSIONS OF VEGF-D AND VEGFR-3 IN COLON CARCINOMA AND THEIR ROLE IN LYMPHATIC METASTASIS OF CARCINOMA

Objective To investigate the role of vascular endothelial growth factor D(VEGF-D) and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3(VEGFR-3) in lymphangiogenesis and lymphatic metastasis of colon carcinoma by observing the expression of VEGF-D and VEGFR-3,and calculated lymphatic vessel density(LMVD) in colon carcinoma. Methods The expressions of VEGF-D and VEGFR-3 were observed by SP immunohistochemistry in 55 colon carcinoma samples of different stages and differentiation degrees.LMVD in colon carcinoma was calculated by using Podoplanin as the specific marker of lymphatic endothelium. 3.Analysis of the Use and Reasonable Researching of Anti-infectious Medicine in Patients in ICU.

Objective Through an investigation and analysis of the using situation of anti-infectious medicine for the patients of ICU in hospital,to provide guidance for the rational antimicrobial use in clinic and strengthen the level of clinical doctors′reasonable use of the medicine. Methods The anti-infectious medicine used for the patient of ICU in hospital is analysed in respect to defined daily dose (DDD),drug utilization index(DUI). Results An overwhelming majority of anti-infectious medicine′s utilization is reasonable,but 52.4% of the anti-infectious medicine is over the demand of DUI≤1.The result of the DDDs:the Chemical Synthesis′s capacity(32.14%),the aminoglycosides(13.62%),the ?-Lactams and their?-Lactamase inhibitors(13.20%),the antifungal agents(12.66%),the cephalosporins(9.52%).The fuloroquinolones,the third and the forth cephalosporins and the carbapenems are used broadly.The medicine's unit-rate gets 92%,and six unit is the most of all.It can be seen from the category and distribution of the use of anti-infectious medicine that the cephalosprins is the first.The antimicrobial resistance is developed rapidly.The antimicrobial resistance of levofloxacin is 54.45%,then gentamicin is 51.78% and ampicillin,ciprofloxacin,cefazolin,ceftriaxone,SMZco are more than 40%. Conclusions In choosing the dose with the normal regulation(not the dose of indication),doctors consider less for the factors such as the age,medicine interacion,dose of indication,etc.Using the broad-spectrum usually led to many universal phenomenon such as antimicrobial resistance,bacteria migrated and antimycotic infection,etc.That makes double infection(32%) which can't be neglected.The theory of medicinal economics is less used in the clinic practices.
4.Analysis of The Use of Antimicrobial Drugs in Patients who were Diagnosed as Community-Acquired Pneumonia During 2004~2005

Objective Depending on the analysis of patients who were diagnosed as Community-Acquired Pneumonia in our hospital during 2004-2005, we compared with 《Directory for Diagnose of Community-Acquired Pneumonia》(Draft) in order to provide the guidance for the rational antimicrobial use in clinic. Methods Using the Retrospective Analyze method,we analyzed the cases which included: Name, Sex, Age, time during in hospital, Fees, Medicine and Note. Results Compared from 2005 with 2004, the top 3 ranks of the DDDs in 2004 were cefoperazone sodium/sulbactam sodium;L-ofloxacin ; etimicin and in 2005 were L-ofloxacin; cefoperazone sodium/sulbactam; etimicin. The rate of medicine fees were decreased,but the unites to use medicine,the average time in hospital and the average medicine fees were not deferent remarkable. Conclusions After 《Directory for Diagnose of Community-Acquired Pneumonia》(Draft) was carried out,the condition of application was more rational in 2005 than in 2004, but there were still many problems should be improved.
5.The Investigation of the Relation Between the Expression of Podoplanin and the Lymphatical Metastasis in the Human Colonic Carcinoma

Objective To provide the morphology data for the study on the molecular mechanism of tumor metastasis,we observed the expression of podoplanin on the blood vessels and lymphatics in the human colonic carcinoma.Methods We observed the expression of podoplanin on the blood vessels and lymphatics in the colonic carcinoma from the patients of the operation in the defferent stages with the methods of HE staining and podoplanin immunohistochemistry staining. Results Podoplanin has not been stained,but podoplanin was positively expressed on the colonic carcinoma lymphatics.And, The podoplanin expression positive rate of the colonic carcinoma were increased along with the increase of tumor stages and occurence of lymph nodes metastasis. Conclusion Podoplanin choosed to express in lymphatics in the colonic carcinoma and could correctly distinguish the blood vessels and lymphatic vessels,could be regarded as the specific marker to mark lymphatic vessel. And, The podoplanin expression positive rate of the colonic carcinoma were increased along with the increase of tumor stages and occurence of lymph nodes metastasis.It indicates,It was correlated with colonic carcinoma lymphatical metastasis that the count of lymphatic vessels were increased in the colonic carcinoma along with the tumor advancing.
6.Application of decision tree method in evaluation of nursing quality

Objective To establish a reasonable method to evaluate nursing quality with both the quantity and quality of nursing taken into account.Methods Quantity indexes of nursing were analyzed with decision tree method (CHAID)in SPSS18.0,which included the number of patients admitted to wards,first grade' s nursing days,critically ill patients,emergencies,operations,intravenous infusions,intramuscular injections,oxygen inhalations,urinary tract catheterizations,gastric tube catheterizations,enemas and the average turnover rate of beds.After the quantity analysis,the nursing units were divided into different groups according to their workload.Then,we made a comprehensive evaluation of nursing quality with 12 indicators on the same group.Results Decision tree analysis can identify hierarchy relationship of various nursing quantity indicators and high-priority work quantity variables.Furthermore,it can establish the hierarchical rule based on the distribution of high-priority variables,and serve the purpose of classifying nursing units based on nursing workload.Conclusion The decision tree method can provide a same-level nursing workload platform for quality examination.This has minimized the influence of nursing workload discrepancies on nursing quality examination,and made nursing quality more comparable with nursing workload units of the same level,thus a scientific method for comprehensive nursing quality evaluation.
8.Effect of TMP combined with cisplatin on expression of Mac2-BP and VEGF in Lewis lung cancer mice

Objective To investigate the effect of tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) combined with cisplatin(DDP) on the expression of Mac2-binding protein(Mac2-BP) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in mice with lung cancer. Methods C57 BL/6 mice were subcutaneously inoculated with Lewis lung adenocarcinoma cells , and Lewis lung adenocarcinoma mouse xenograft model was established .Forty mice were randomly divided into four groups:normal saline group(NS group,0.9%NaCl,0.2 ml), TMP group (TMP 100 mg/kg,0.2 ml), DDP group (DDP 2 mg/kg,0.2 ml), TMP plus DDP group (doses as above,0.2 ml totally) with 10 mice in each group.After 2 drug intervention,following 14 days of inoculation , the tumor diameter was measured every two days to calculate the tumor volume .The mice were sacrificed after 14 days of continuous medication , and the subcutaneous tumors were weighed after stripping to calculate the inhibitory rate.The expressions of Mac2-BP and VEGF was detected by Western blot and immunhistochemistry .Results Compared with NS group, the tumor growth rate of TMP group , DDP group and TMP+DDP group was slowed down , and the tumor growth rate in the TMP+DDP group was decreased most significantly .The inhibitory rate of TMP group , DDP group and TMP+DDP group was 25.57%, 45.24% and 66.5%,respectively.Kim, s formula was used to evaluate the synergy of the combined treatment .The q values for TMP +DDP group was 0.85

The clinical laboratory equipment on hospital ship was introduced, whose status and common faults were analyzed during Philippines humanitarian medical rescue mission and 3 times of Mission of Harmony. The experience was summarized for the maintenance of the clinical laboratory equipment. The problems and countermeasures were proposed for the clinical laboratory equipment.
10.Connexin: a new perspective of tumor therapy

Connexin (Cx) is the main component of gap junction channels, which is essential for intercellular communication between adjacent cells.Cx plays an important role in regulation of the growth, differentiation and apoptosis of cells and is closely related to tumor formation and development.The expression of Cx appears to be different in different stages of tumor development, and the regulatory mechanism of Cx is also involved in many aspects.In this paper, recent advances in the studies on Cx are reviewed, including the relationship between Cx and development of tumor, the basic mechanism of Cx, as well as its applications in antitumor-drug screening and tumor therapy.
