Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect and safety of thrombolysis and pure anticoagulation therapy in patients with acute submassive pulmonary embolism. Methods: A total of 63 patients with acute submassive pulmonary embolism were randomly divided into thrombolysis group (n=32) and pure anticoagulation group (n=31). Arterial blood gas index and right heart functional index changes of two groups were observed before treatment and after two-week treatment, and their therapeutic effects were compared and analyzed. Incidence of bleeding and thrombocytopenia were counted in two groups. Results: Compared with before treatment, there were significant improvements in arterial blood gas and right heart functional indexes after treatment in two groups, P<0.05 or <0.01; compared with pure anticoagulation group, there were significant rise in partial pressure of oxygen in artery [PaO2,(77.8±7.3)mmHg vs. (83.4±8.7) mmHg], right ventricular anterior wall motion [RVAWM, (4.9±1.7) mm vs. (5.8±2.2) mm]; and significant descent in alveolar-arterial oxygen difference [P (A-a)O2, (23.1±2.8) mmHg vs. (16.5±2.4) mmHg mmHg], pulmonary artery systolic pressure [PASP, (54.6±7.9) mmHg vs. (34.2±7.5) mmHg] in thrombolysis group, P<0.05 or <0.01. Total effective rate of thrombolysis group (100%) was significantly higher than that of pure anticoagulation group (80.6%), P=0.002. There were no significant difference in incidence rates of bleeding and thrombocytopenia between two groups, P>0.05. Conclusion: Thrombolysis therapy can significantly lower pulmonary artery pressure and improve oxygenation and right ventricular function indexes in patients with acute submassive pulmonary embolism. It may be a preferred recommendation for patients without contraindications.

OBJECTIVE To investigate bacterial contamination of throat spray in different patient groups before and after using it and explore the satisfactory disinfection methods for decreasing the rate of hospital acquired infection.METHODS The methods were used in accordance with Disinfection Technology Criteria. We compared the germicidal effect of five kinds of methods.RESULTS Bacterial contamination was very serious after using throat spray, many bacteria, even pathogens,as well as the normal flora from the region of nasopharynx had been found there.Bacterial contamination was more serious in ENT department patient than in endoscopy patient after using throat sprays.Burning, alcohol, iodophor and disinfectants containing iodine with alcohol were better than oxidized potential water method on disinfection effect.CONCLUSIONS Much attention should be paid to the contamination of throat spray, selecting the most effective disinfection methods, hospital infections caused by invasive manipulation could be prevented when correct methods are adopted.

Objective To observe the effects of high mechanical index ultrasound contrast on hepatic metastasis of colorectal cancer. Methods Hepatic metastasis models were established by injecting Lovo cells into the spleen of SD rats. This study was divided into control group, microbubble plus ultrasound radiation group simple contrast agent group and simple ultrasound radiation group.Ultrasound contrast agent SonoVue(1 ml/kg) was injected via tail vein, high mechanical index ultrasound contrast (frequency 1.5 MHz,MI 1.7) was performed intermittently for 2 min. After 10 d,the animals were killed and the size and number of hepatic metastasis were compared.Histological pathology and its ultrastructure were observed. Results There were no significant differences between contral group, simple ultrasound radiation group and simple contrast agent group in metastatic rate ( P>0.05).There were no obvious differences between contral group, simple ultrasound radiation group and simple contrast agent group in cells'ultrastructure by transmission electron microscopy (TEM).The number and size of hepatic metastasis decreased obviously in microbabble plus ultrasound radiation group ( P<0.01 ), the mitochondrion was swelling and the gaps of endothelial cells were loose. Conclusions High mechanical index ultrasound contrast can inhibit the hepatic metastasis of colorectal cancer.

Endometriosis(Endometriosis,EMs)is a disease caused by abnormal colonization of the endometrial stroma or glands to sites other than the coated mucosa of the uterine cavity.Phospho-lipid inositol 3 kinase(phosphoinositide 3-kinase,PI3K)/protein kinase B(protein kinase B,Akt)sig-naling pathway is involved in the process of focal blood vessel formation, cell autophagic apoptosis, migration and invasion, and is one of the classic pathways regulating the pathological characteris-tics of EMs.The characteristics of multi-compo-nent,multi-target and multi-pathway of TCM have significant advantages in the treatment of EMs.Some TCM active components and TCM com-pounds can interfere with the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, thus inhibiting the treatment of endome-triotic tissues, reducing pain and alleviating fibrotic lesions.By explaining the connection between the key targets of PI3K/Akt signaling pathway and EMs,this paper summarizes and summarizes the re-search status of EMs by regulating PI3K/Akt signal pathway in home and abroad, aiming to provide a new perspective and idea for the use of traditional Chinese medicine and compound to treat EMs.
