Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(43):7033-7038
BACKGROUND:Studies have shown that theβ-tricalcium phosphate can be combined with other macromolecular compounds to improve the mechanical strength and histocompatibility, meeting the requirements of clinical application.
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the selection and preparation methods of composite scaffold in bone tissue engineering, and to describe the problems we are facing.
METHODS:The first author retrieved PubMed, Google Scholar, CNKI, Wanfang, and VIP databases by computer using the keywords of“β-tricalcium phosphate,β-TCP, PLGA, PLA, scaffold, prepare”in English and Chinese, respectively.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:β-tricalcium phosphate combined with polylactic acid-glycolic acid/polylactic acid as bone tissue engineering scaffolds has achieved a great progress. At present, the organic polymer composite scaffolds can be prepared by microsphere sintering, fiber bonding, solvent casting/particulate leaching, emulsification/freeze drying technology, gas foaming method, phase separation technology, rapid prototyping technology and electrostatic spinning method.β-tricalcium phosphate composite scaffolds with polylactic acid-glycolic acid/polylactic acid can be customizable so as to meet different requirements for bone tissue engineering, which can improve the porosity, mechanical properties and biodegradation by improving fabrication techniques and processings, ratio of raw materials and fil er proportion.

AlM:To compare the results of lOL Master, contact and immersion A-scan ultrasound measurements for anterior chamber depth ( ACD ) , and evaluate the difference and consistency.METHODS:Fifty-eight cases (98 eyes) with age-related cataract during July to October in 2013 did the A-scan ultrasound with contact and immersion measurements and lOL Master to get the results of ACD. Difference in measurements between methods was assessed using the variance analysisi. Consistency was assessed using Bland-Altman.RESULTS:The ACD measured by lOL Master was 2. 31~3. 90mm, the mean was 3. 03 ± 0. 38mm. The ACD measured by contact A- scan ultrasound was 1. 51 ~4. 06mm, the mean was 2. 88 ± 0. 56mm. The ACD measured by immersion A-scan ultrasound was 1. 99 ~4. 17mm, the mean was 3. 17±0. 38mm. The results of lOL Master and contact A - scan ultrasound had statistical differences (P=0. 022<0. 05). The results of lOL Master and immersion A - scan ultrasound had statistical differences (P=0. 031<0. 05). The results of contact A-scan ultrasound and immersion A-scan ultrasound had statistical differences (P=0. 000<0. 05). The consistency between three methods was poor. CONCLUSlON: The rank of ACD of patients with cataract is immersion A-scan ultrasound, lOL Master and contact A-scan ultrasound. The consistency is poor, and the three methods can’t be interchanged clinically.

Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2009;18(6):496-498
Objective To explore the characteristics of uhrasonography of hepatobiliary cystadenoma. Methods The ultrasonographic characteristics of 5 cases with hepatobiliary cystadenoma were retrospectively analysed, and compared with the operation and pathology. Results The ultrasonography of 5 cases was multilocular cystic mass, which seems to be,but not indeed communicating with the biliary tree,in which irregular septation was demonstrated in two-dimensional structure and also with perforator vessels along in color Doppler flow imagineg. And in some cases small papillary tuft and small loci of calcification was noted on the septation. Conclusions Muhilocular cystic mass, locating along the biliary tree, however not communicating with the the biliary tree, is an important diagnostic basis of biliary cystadenoma. And it should be distinguished with other cystic tumor in the liver.

Objective Evaluated NOS expression in bladder tissue from the patients with transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) of the bladder and studied its relationship with angiogenesis. Methods Bladder carcinoma tissue specimens were procured from 58 patients with TCC and 14 cases of benign bladder tissue as contrast group. NOS immunohistochemistry was performed on all tissue specimens and microvessal density (MVD) was counted by endothelial cells immunostained. Results Inducible NOS specific proteins were found in 47 of 58 bladder cancer specimens but not in control bladder tissue. The malignant cells and inflammatory cells within the carcinomas were highly iNOS positive whereas specimens of bladder mucosa outside the malignant regions showed only a weak positive iNOS immunostaining. The endothelial cells in both normal urothlium and tumor tissue showed a highly positive eNOS immunostaining but its immunoreaction was not detected in either malignant or benign epithelium. MVD was (39.3?19.5)/HP and (29.3?10.5)/HP in iNOS positive and negative tissues respectively (P
