Objective:To explore antitumor mechanism of a recombinant vaccinia virus expressing human carcinomembryonic antigen(rV CEA).Methods:C57bl/6 mice were immunized three times with rV CEA.Six weeks later, the splenocytes from rV CEA immunized donors were adoptively tranfered in sublethally irradiated CEA + HePa bearing recipients, meanwhile the antiumor effect of the donor splencytes in virtro was detected. Results:Splenocytes from rV CEA immunized donors expressed strong antiumor activity in CEA positive tumorbearing recipients, whereas W VV immunized and nonimmune donor cell did not.The antiumor activity was abolished when immune T cells were depleted before splencytes transfer. Conclusion:It was demonstrated that antiumor acivity induced by rV CEA was essentially mediated by immune T cells which were activated by CEA specific immune response.Adoptive immunotherapy strategies may have implications for both the study of rV CEA and the development of potential clinical applications for tumor immunotherapy.

To analyze the prescription and medication regularities of traditional Chinese medicines in the treatment of melancholia in the Chinese journal full text database (CNKI), Wanfang Data knowledge service platform, VIP, Chinese biomedical literature database (CBM) in based on the traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support platform software, in order to provide reference for further mining traditional Chinese medicines for the treatment of melancholia and new drug development. The traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support platform software V2.0 was used to establish the prescription database of traditional Chinese medicines for treating melancholia. The software integrated data mining method was adopted to analyze four Qis, five flavors, meridian distribution, frequency statistics, syndrome distribution, composition regularity and new prescriptions. Totally 358 prescriptions for treating melancholia were analyzed to determine the frequency of prescription drugs, commonly used drug pairs and combinations and develop 22 new prescriptions. According to this study, prescriptions for treating depression collected in modern literature databases mainly have the effects in soothing liver and resolving melancholia, strengthening spleen and eliminating phlegm, activating and replenishing blood, regulating liver qi, tonifying spleen qi, clearing heat and purging heat, soothing the mind, nourishing yin and tonifying kidney, with neutral drug property and sweet or bitter flavor, and follow the melancholia treatment principle of "regulating qi and opening the mind, regulating qi and empathy".

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(02):-
AIM: To study the effect of genistein on activation and proliferation of T cells, and explore the molecular mechanism of genistein. METHODS: Fluorescence conjugated monoclonal antibodies and flow cytometry were used to detect the express of CD69 and CD25 by activated T cells in vitro in response to Concanavalin (ConA )and Phorbol 12,13-dibutyrate(PDB) or T cell proliferation stained by CFSE in response to PDB / Ionomycin or ConA. RESULTS: Genistein inhibited the expression of CD69 and CD25 in activated T cells in response to Con A in a concentration-dependent manner and in response to PDB in a high concentration. Genistein inhibited proliferation of T cells in both groups in a concentration-dependent manner. CONCLUSION: Genistein inhibited activation and proliferation of T cells in vitro in response to polyclonal stimulus, and it may hold potential as a new immunosuppressant.
