OBJECTIVE:To observe therapeutic efficacy and safety of oxaliplatin combined with tegafur in the treatment of ad-vanced primary hepatic carcinoma after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE). METHODS:120 patients with advanced primary hepatic carcinoma were selected from our hospital during Apr. 2011-Apr. 2013,and then divided into control group and ob-servation group according to random number table, with 60 cases in each group. Both groups received TACE. Control group was given Oxaliplatin injection 0.08 g/m2 after surgery via catheter arterial puming, within 4 h;observation group was additionally giv-en Tegafur capsules 40 mg/m2,po,bid,on the basis of control group. Both group received treatment for 4 months. Clinical efficacy, hepatic function indexes [ALT,AST,TBIL,DBIL] and alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)level were observed in 2 groups;the occurrence of ADR during treatment was recorded as well as 1-year,2-year,3-year follow-up survival rates. RESULTS:Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in hepatic function indexes and AFP(P>0.05). After treatment, disease control rate(78.33%) and clinical benefit rate(93.33%)of observation group were significantly higher than those of control group(48.335,71.67%), with statistical significance (P<0.05). The levels of ALT,AST,TBIL and DBIL in 2 groups were increased significantly, while the observation group was significantly lower than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). AFP level of 2 groups were decreased significantly, and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups(P>0.05). 1-year,2-year,3-year fol-low-up survival rates of observation group were significant higher than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). CON-CLUSIONS:Oxaliplatin combined with tegafur is effective for advanced primary hepatic carcinoma after TACE with good safety.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2010;26(36):8-9
Objective To discuss application of evidence-based nursing in nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients undergoing radiotherapy. Methods Evidence-based nursing was used in 33 nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients undergoing radiotherapy. Results After evidence-based nursing, all the patients actively cooperated with the doctors and nurses, lived through the treatment process smoothly, and radiotherapy complications were reduced or avoided. Conclusions Evidence-based nursing is an idealized nursing method which could reduce or avoid the complications and alleviate the pain of patients and improve the quality of nursing.

Objective To evaluate the pharmacological effect of Zhixie Tuire Tablets(ZTT) on human rotavirus RV709 in host cells in vitro. Methods By improved methods of methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium colorimetry assay(MTT) and cytopathic effect(CPE),the anti-rotavirus effect of ZTT on RV709 was evaluated. Results The half toxic concentration(TC50) of ZTT for MA104 was 0.49699 mg/mL.ZTT neither can directly kill human rotavirus, nor prevent human rotavirus from invasion of host cells. The halft inhibitory concentration of ZTT was 0.00519 mg/mL for RV709.Conclusion In-vitro anti-rotavirus mechanism of ZTT is related to the inhibition of the biological synthesis of rotavirus in host cells.

Objective To probe into the therapeutic mechanism of Zhixie Tuire Tablet (ZTT) for rotavirus-induced diarrhea. Methods We established the 4-day old Kunming neonatal mice model by infecting group A G3 type of rotavirus, and then gave the inoculated mice with ZTT at the dose of 0.78 g/kg for three days. Fluorescent quantification PCR method was used to detect the changes of sodium glucose transporter SGLT1 mRNA level and radio-immunity method was used for the examination of PGE2 level in neonatal mice small intestine. Results SGLT1mRNA level was lower in ZTT group than that in the normal group, the difference being significant (P 0.05). PGE2 level in ZTT group was higher than that in the normal group, but lower than that in the model group (P

Object To develop a high-performance capillary electrophoresis method to determine ferulic acid concentrations in serum of rats treated with Buyang Huanwu Decoction (BHD). Methods Capillary zone electrophoresis was applied for ferulic acid assay, quantitative determination was based on internal standard and detection was carried on by direct UV. The electrolyte buffer was composed of 25 mmol/L borax-methanol (85∶15). Capillary electrophoresis was performed using a 52 cm (30 cm to detector)?50 ?m fused-silica capillary tube. Separation voltage was 20 kV, sampling time was 3 s, detection wavelength was 320 nm, and the temperature was 30 ℃. Results Ferulic acid was successfully separated within 6 min, the recoveries were 97.2% in serum and 103.28% in BHD, respectively. RSD were 3.73% and 0.91% (n=3), respectively. Conclusion This method can supply reference for the determination of ferulic acid in serum samples and BHD.

Objective To investigate the influences of polyethylene glycol on the solubility and in vitro dissolution of m-nisoldipine,which could provide guidance for chosing formulations of m-nisoldipine. Methods Solid dispersions of m-nisoldipine were prepared by solvent-melting method with polyethylene glycol6000 matrix. DSC and XRD spectroscopy were applied to identify the solid dispersions. The solubility and in vitro dissolution were detected by UV spectroscopy. Results The DSC and XRD map were different from the crude drug and their physical mixtures. The dissolution rates(13,15,17) were faster(35. 31%,38. 71%,41. 48%) than that of the crude drug(26. 80%),and the dissolution rates of the solid dispersions in the same ratio were higher than the physical mixtures. Conclusion DSC analysis indicated that eutectic compounds were produced by the m-nisoldipine and polyethylene glycol,in which polyethylene glycol6000 acts as a carrier. The solubility and in vitro dissolution of m-nisoldipine can be increased.

Heat stroke (HS) is a life-threatening illness characterized by core body temperatures above 40 ℃ coupled with central nervous system (CNS) dysfunction, including delirium, convulsions, and/or coma. Its morbidity has increased dramatically in the past few decades. Multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) is not only the most serious complication of HS, but also the leading cause of deaths. Understanding the pathogenesis, characteristic and advancement pattern of MODS caused by HS will have a profound effect on the clinical treatment, research and mortality decrease. The pathogenesis, injury characteristic of each system and organ, and treatment methods were summarized in this review so as to deepen the clinical recognition of this disease.
