1.Applications of multislice CT in the differential diagnosis of various kinds of thymic lesions

Objective To analyze the multislice CT (MSCT) imaging performance of various kinds of thymic lesions and to explore useful signs for differentiating those lesions.Methods CT features of 39 cases with thymic lesions confirmed by operation and pathology were reviewed retrospectively analyzed and these cases were divided into three groups,namely low-risk group,high-risk group,cancer and carcinoid group.The imaging characteristics of each group including location,size,shape,border,density,invasion and metastasis,degree of enhancement were compared and the main different characteristics among the three groups were analyzed.Results Among the 39 cases,21 were low-risk,13 were high-risk and 5 were cancer and carcinoid.There were significant difference among the three groups in shape,border,density,invasion and metastasis of these thymic lesions on CT imaging (P < 0.05).As for the irregular shape and nonuniform density,there were 5 and 4 cases in cancer and carcinoid group and only 1 and 3 cases in low-risk group,the difference between the two groups were statistically significant(P < 0.05).As for invasion and metastasis,there were no statistical significant between the high-risk group and the cancer and carcinoid group,but both had statistical significant with the low-risk group respectively (P < 0.05).No significant difference existed among the three groups in size and degree of enhancement(P > 0.05).Conclusion MSCT might be an effective and important imaging tool for differentiating various kinds of thymic lesions.
2.Qualitative research on cognitive level of patients with breast cancer adjuvant endocrine therapy and needs of related knowledge

Objective To explore the cognitive level of patients with breast cancer who were undergoing adjuvant endocrine therapy and their needs for related knowledge, so as to provide powerful references for making effectively compliance interventions. Methods An in-depth interview was conducted on 12 breast cancer patients who were undergoing adjuvant endocrine therapy. Data were analyzed by Colaizzi analysis procedure. Results The views on adjuvant endocrine therapy were very disagree and the main needs were: the related knowledge of adjuvant endocrine therapy, side effects of adjuvant endocrine therapy and its cope measures, the needs about healthy lifestyle during taking medicine, the needs of communicating with doctors and nurses, the regulation methods on alleviating psychological stress and releasing worries of the drug costs. Conclusion More efforts should made to strengthen the health education on adjuvant endocrine therapy and create effectively follow-up system, strengthen multi-discipline cooperation and doctor-patient communication, also we need deeply recognize the cognitive level about endocrine therapy of the patients and meet their psychological needs, aim directly interventions to relieve or eliminate their concerns, thus reinforce their believes of drug administration and promote the adherence of adjuvant endocrine therapy.
3.Adipose derived mesenchymal stem cell exosomes inhibit adverse ventricular remode-ling after myocardial infarction by regulating autophagy and NLRP3 inflammasomes balance of cardiac fibroblasts

Aim To investigate the inhibition role and mechanism of adipose derived mesenchymal stem cell(ADMSC)exosomes(Exo)on adverse ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction(MI).Methods The chan-ges of autophagy and inflammasomes phenotype of cardiac fibroblasts after H2O2 treatment were observed.MI rats were in-jected with an equal volume of normal saline,adipose derived mesenchymal stem cell exosomes(MSC-Exo)or fibroblast exosomes(MEF-Exo)via a tail vein.The expression of autophagy related 16 like protein 1(ATG16L1),autophagy re-lated protein 7(ATG7)and NOD-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3),inflammatory response,the degree of myocardial fi-brosis,and the cardiac function were observed in different groups.Results After treatment with H2O2 on cardiac fi-broblasts,the expressions of ATG16L1 and ATG7 were significantly decreased(P<0.001),NLRP3 was significantly in-creased(P<0.001),and the levels of inflammatory cytokines interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and IL-18 were significantly elevated(P<0.001).After MI rats were intervened with MSC-Exo,the expressions of autophagy related proteins ATG16L1 and ATG7 were significantly up-regulated(P<0.001),NLRP3 was significantly down-regulated(P<0.001),serum IL-1β and IL-18 levels were significantly decreased(P<0.001),fibrosis-related proteins collagen Ⅰ and Ⅲ were significantly reduced(P<0.001),myocardial fibrosis was significantly relieved(P<0.001),and cardiac function was sig-nificantly improved(P<0.001).Conclusion Adipose derived MSC-Exo play a role in inhibiting adverse ventricular remodeling after MI by regulating the balance of autophagy and NLRP3 inflammasomes.
