Objective:To observe the application effect of continuous blood purification(CBP) machine in treatment of multiple organs dysfunction syndromes(MODS) in children. Methods: 26 cases of children with MODS implemented CBP therapy were choosed as the research objects. All the patient’s treatment time, replacement liquid dosage, the quantity of liquid ultrafiltration were recorded. All the patient’s blood pressure and heart rate were monitored before and after CBP therapy. The changes in the renal function indices such as BUN and SCr, the blood gas indexes such as pH, PaO2, PaCO2, HCO3-and BE, the electrolyte indicators such as Na+, K+, Cl- and osmotic pressure were observed and compared before and after CBP therapy. Results: (1)The average period of treatment of 26 cases in children with MODS was (77±53)h. The average amount of fluid replacement was (18.4±15.8)L/d, and the average quantity of liquid of ultrafiltration was (2630±1760)ml/d. The vital signs of all the children were stable in the process of CBP therapy, and the blood pressure and heart rate had no obvious changes before and after treatment. (2)The renal function indices such as BUN and SCr decreased obviously after treatment. The differences were statistically significant (t=50.392,t=96.115;P<0.05). The blood gas indexes such as PH, PaO2/FiO2, HCO3- and BE were improved significantly after treatment (t=4.450,t=20.105,t=11.209,t=54.840;P<0.05). The electrolyte indicators such as Na+, K+, Cl- and osmotic pressure had no obvious change after treatment (P>0.05).Conclusion: CBP therapy can effectively reduce various inflammatory mediators and toxin, improve renal function, help to stabilize the environment in the body and it is an effective, safe and reliable therapeutic method in the treatment of children with MODS.

Military medical literature and information resources in neighboring countries of China, including the publication of journals and books, the institutions and their publications, were investigated in order to work out the characteristic military medical literature and information resources integration program in neighboring countries of China according to the domestic medical literature service and to lay a foundation for establishing the characteristic military medical literature support system.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2023;44(10):1513-1516
Objective:
To understand potential categories of lifestyle behaviors and its association with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) constitution among higher vocational medical students, so as to provide reference for the physical health management of them.
Methods:
From October to December 2022, 2 720 medical students from three higher vocational medical colleges in Anhui Province were selected by stratified cluster sampling method and were investigated with a questionnaire of lifestyle and TCM body constitution. Potential category analysis (LCA) and multiple linear regression were used to explore the relationship between potential categories of lifestyle behaviors and TCM constitutions.
Results:
The lifestyle behavior of vocational medical students were classified into three potential categories:general health group (83.60%), smoking and drinking group (4.85%) and diet preference group (11.55%). There were significant differences in the distribution of TCM constitution types among the three groups ( χ 2=46.32, P < 0.01 ). The proportion of general health group was the higher in balanced constitution (46.39%), and the proportion of smoking and drinking type was higher in phlegm dampness (25.00%). The dietary preferences were higher in phlegm dampness (20.38%), Yin deficiency (15.92%) and damp heat (20.70%). Taking balanced constitution as a reference, the occurrence risk of phlegm and dampness in smoking and drinking type and diet preference type was 1.75 times higher (95% CI =1.09-2.77) and 1.78 times higher (95% CI = 1.26-2.49) than that in general health group ( P <0.05).
Conclusion
There are certain aggregation characteristics in lifestyle behaviors among higher vocational medical students, which show significant relations with TCM constitutions. Targeted intervention should be carried out according to the demographic characteristics of higher vocational medical students, potential categories of behavior and lifestyle characteristics and TCM constitutions.

Objective To compare the efficacy and safety between whole brain radiotherapy (WBRT) and WBRT combined with temozolomide (TMZ) in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer with brain metastases. Methods According to the retrieval strategy, the Chinese and English literatures before February 2018 were retrieved from EMbase,Cochrane,PubMed,Wanfang database,Chongqing VIP and CNKI,The target literatures were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,The quality of the included studies and extracted data was independently assessed by 3 researchers,The RevMan 5,3 and STATA 12,0 software was used for statistical analysis,The objective remission rate (ORR),the total survival period (OS),the progression-free survival (PFS),and the side effects of chemotherapy were evaluated. Results In total,17 trials consisting of 1128 patients were included,The results of Meta-analysis demonstrated that compared with the WBRT group, the ORR was significantly higher (OR=2.54;95%CI:1.93-3.36;P<0.001),the PFS was significantly longer (MS R=1.329;95%CI:1.143-1.545;P<0,001),and the incidence of hematological toxicity (OR=3.44;95%CI:1.63-7.26;P< 0.05) and the gastric intestinal reaction (OR=1.69;95%CI:1.24-2.31;P<0.05) was significantly higher in the WBRT+TMZ group,The heterogeneities were within the acceptable range with statistical significance,The results of OS were invalid due to relatively large heterogeneity,The incidence of headache did not significantly differ between two groups (OR=1.05;95%CI:0.72-1.55;P=0,79).Conclusions Compared with WBRT alone,WBRT combined with TMZ is beneficial to improve the short-term efficacy, whereas the incidence of hematological toxicity and gastrointestinal reaction is higher,The occurrence of headache does not significantly differ between two groups,The benefit of long-term survival remains uncertain.
