Dyslipidemia is one of metabolic disorder of blood lipids including cholesterol or triglycerides.Based on the close relationship with the atherosclerosis,there is little doubt that hyperlipidemia is the major risk factor for morbidity and mortality of cardiovascular diseases.To control dyslipidemia is one of the most important measures to prevent and cure the cardiovascular diseases.The patients with dyslipidemia will take life-term western medicine.However Chinese medicine does well in treating light and middle grade dyslipidemia,which can reduce development of cardiovascular incidents and adverse reactions of western medicine.This guideline assembled all the experts'experience and expertise from Cardiopathia Committee of China Association of Chinese Medicine,which was also based on nearly thirty-year literature searching about essential hypertension home and abroad.Furthermore,we mainly classif ied TCM syndromes and made treatment principles according to our achievement in the last decade and six expert consensus conferences.This article will introduce such a guideline that we want to gather different opinions and suggestions all over our country in order to improve curative effect in practice.Besides,some information about nursing,prevention and rehabilitation is also discussed for the sake of preventing and reducing essential dyslipidemia and its complications,which is according to the theory of"Preventive Treatment of Disease"of Nei Jing.

Objective: To evaluate the value of high resolution ultrasonography for diagnosis of secondary hyperparathyroism(HPT) in uremia and its relationship with serum parathyroid hormone(PTH). Methods: Ultrasonography was used to examine parathyroid gland and serum PTH, calcium,phosphorus in 55 cases of uremic patients. Results: Totally 64 parathyroid glands in 52 patients(94%) and over 2 glands in 11 cases(20%) were found. Objective　To observe about curative effect of MMF on type Ⅳ lupus nephritis and to review the literature about MMF used to treat LN.Method　Ten patients with type Ⅳ LN were treated with MMF 1～2 g/d plus prednisone at middle or little dose.Curative duration of these patients was between 6 and 12 months.After 3,6 and 12 months curative effect was observed.Results　After treatment proteinurie and systemic lupus activity measurement were decreased gradually.Before and after treatment ANA positive rates were 80% and 30%,anti dsDNA antibody positive rates were 50% and 10%,respectively,and low C3 and C4 was rectified.After treatment renal failure in 3 patients was recovered.During treatment major adverse reactions included gastrointestinal symptoms and herpes zoster.Conclusion　MMF has exacttly effect on type Ⅳ LN and low side effect.

Objective To study the relationship among the area of transverse section of radial artery, the major axis length of the ellipse with same centroid as transverse section, the maximum centroid displacement in the direction parallel with skin surface in a cardiac cycle and width of pulse tracing. Methods ECG, pressure phygmograms and ultrasound images of transverse section of radial artery of 40 patients with different width of pulse tracing and 20 healthy persons were collected synchronously with a new-type sphymograph. On the basis of images analysis with MATLAB 7.0.1, image characteristics of transverse section of radial artery and centroid motion locus of pulse tracings with different width in a cardiac cycle were observed and analyzed. Results Between pulse tracings with different width, there were significant differences in the area of transverse section of radial artery, the major axis length of the ellipse with same centroid as transverse section and the maximum centroid displacement in the direction parallel with skin surface in a cardiac cycle. Conclusions The mean, maximum and minimum value of the area of transverse section and the major axis length of ellipse and the maximum centroid displacement can be used to discriminate width of pulse tracing.

Objective To establish the quality standard of Naru-3 Cataplasm. Method The contents of Radix aconiti kusnezoffii were determined by UV-vis, and meaconitine was determined by HPLC. Results The linear range of meaconitine was 0.129 5～2.074 0 ?g. The quality standard of Naru-3 Cataplasm was established. Conclusion The method can be used for quality control of Naru-3 Cataplasm.

Objective Base on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), obtained human diagnostic information available for joint syndrome differentiation is integrated based on subjective and objective combined syndrome differentiation, in the form of data expression of TCM four diagnosis, forms multiple information fusion of open platform for TCM diagnosis and treatment, and provides some revelation for promoting the development of depression and treatment technology. Methods Totally 30 depression patients and 30 normal people were selected according to the inclusion criteria. TCM four diagnostic and auxiliary diagnosis instrument was used to collect information of four diagnosis, and the statistical software was used for the analysis on pulse diagnosis, and information features of digitalized tongue and listening diagnosis of patients in depression group and normal group were studied. Results Compared with depression group, pulse frequency, fluency, and heart rate of normal group were a bit higher than depression group, without statistical significance (P>0.05);There was statistical significance among pulse frequency, strength, tightness, and pulse wave velocity between the normal group and depression group (P<0.05). 30 patients had 6 depression syndrome types:heart-gallbladder qi deficiency (8 cases), phlegm-heat attacking internally (6 cases), fire excess from yin deficiency (6 cases), liver depression forming fire (6 cases), intense heart fire (3 cases), and heart-spleen deficiency (3 cases). Conclusion The results of differences in pulse diagram parameters were consistent with the theory of classical TCM pulse theory. The results of differences in pulse wave velocity conform to the modern medical research conclusion. TCM four diagnostic auxiliary diagnosis and treatment technology can realize the dynamic detection of depression patients with four diagnostic information, and establish diagnostic methods for depression based on digitalized four diagnostic auxiliary diagnosis.

Objective To observe the effects of Jinghua Weikang Capsule on NF-κB p65 expression in gastric mucosa of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infected mice;To discuss its mechanism of action. Methods Totally 44 SPF KM mice were randomly divided into blank group, model group, triple therapy group and Jinghua Weikang group. Except for the blank group, Hp infected model was set up by short term immunosuppression combined with peroral infection. The treatment strategies were triple therapy group with lansoprazole, metronidazole and clarithromycin for 1 week, Jinghua Weikang group with Jinghua Weikang volatile oil for 4 weeks, model group with sterile water for 4 weeks, and blank group free of any treatments. All the subjects were sacrificed in the 4th week after the treatment. NF-κB p65 was detected through real-time PCR and immunohistochemical method. Results The relative quantitative expressions of NF-κB p65 mRNA were 3.27±0.53 in blank group, 2.18±0.50 in control group, 4.19±1.21 in triple therapy group, and 7.70±1.41 in Jinghua Weikang group (χ2=86.303, P<0.001). Compared with model group, the expressions of NF-κB p65 mRNA of other three groups increased statistically differently (P=0.004), and there was also statistical difference between triple therapy and Jinghua Weikang group. Through immunohistochemical tests, the values of NF-κB p65 mean optical density of nucleus were 25.18± 7.42 in blank group, 31.17±2.98 in model group, 30.06±4.69 in triple therapy group, and 26.94±5.19 in Jinghua Weikang group (χ2=10.960, P=0.012). The values of NF-κB p65 mean optical density of cytoplasm had no statistical difference (F=1.922, P=0.134), and the nucleus/cytoplasm values were 0.23±0.06 in blank group, 0.28±0.03 in model group, 0.26±0.04 in triple therapy group, and 0.24±0.04 in Jinghua Weikang group (χ2=14.527, P=0.002). The statistical analysis of the nucleus/cytoplasm values showed significance between blank and model group (P=0.002), while triple therapy group was still equal to model group (P=0.420). Jinghua Weikang group was lower than model group (P=0.022) and equal to blank group (P=0.750). Conclusion Jinghua Weikang Capsule can effectively reduce the expression of NF-κB p65 in protein level in Hp infected mice.

Objective To investigate the correlation between serum levels of B cell activating factor (BAFF) and disease activity in the patients with dermatomyositis (DM).Methods Serum BAFF levels of 61 patients with DM and 25 matched healthy controls were measured by ELISA.The results of the two groups were compared using unpaired Mann-Whitney U test and the relevance was analyzed using Spearman correlation analysis.Results Serum levels of BAFF in DM patients were significantly higher compared to healthy controls [(274 7±264 6) pg/ml 与 (832±170) pg/ml,Z=-5.492,P＜0.01].A cross-sectional assessment revealed that serum BAFF levels were positively correlated with global disease activity (r=0.501,P＜0.001),muscle disease activity (r=0.303,P＜0.05),and cutaneous disease activity (r=0.467,P＜0.01).High serum BAFF levels were associated with increased incidence of interstitial lung disease (x2=17.238,P＜0.01).The longitudinal study showed modest correlations between serum BAFF levels and global disease activity (r=0.658,P＜0.01),muscle disease activity (r=0.307,P＜0.05),as well as cutaneous disease activity (r=0.565,P＜0.01).Conclusion Serum levels of BAFF correlate with disease activity in DM patients.The results of this study suggest that BAFF is a serological biomarker for DM disease activity.

Objective To study the diagnosis and treatment of hyperthyroidism companied with thyroid carcinoma . Methods The clinical data of 11 cases of hyperthyroidism with thyroid carcinoma were retrospectively analysed. Results 9 of 11 cases were diagnosed preoperatively,and comfirmed by frozen section intra-operatively and underwent suitable operation. In the other two cases the final diagnosis was made by pathological examination postoperatively, and re-operation was performed on 1 case . All the patients were followed up for 1～16 years and neither hyperthyroidism nor thyroid carcinoma recurred. Conclusion It is difficult to make diagnosis of hyperthyroidism with thyroid carcinoma preoperatively. B mode ultrasonography may find some nodes in enlarged thyroid; but fine needle aspisation biopsg(FNA) has high false negative diagnostic rate. Intra-operative frozen section examination is important in the diagnosis of hyperthyroidism with thyroid carcinoma .
