1.Consensus on diagnosis and treatment of dyslipidemia by TCM (First Draft)
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(08):-
Dyslipidemia is one of metabolic disorder of blood lipids including cholesterol or triglycerides.Based on the close relationship with the atherosclerosis, there is little doubt that hyperlipidemia is the major risk factor for morbidity and mortality of cardiovascular diseases. To control dyslipidemia is one of the most important measures to prevent and cure the cardiovascular diseases. The patients with dyslipidemia will take life-term western medicine. However Chinese medicine does well in treating light and middle grade dyslipidemia, which can reduce development of cardiovascular incidents and adverse reactions of western medicine. This guideline assembled all the experts'experience and expertise from Cardiopathia Committee of China Association of Chinese Medicine, which was also based on nearly thirty-year literature searching about essential hypertension home and abroad.Furthermore,we mainly classif ied TCM syndromes and made treatment principles according to our achievement in the last decade and six expert consensus conferences. This article will introduce such a guideline that we want to gather different opinions and suggestions all over our country in order to improve curative effect in practice.Besides, some information about nursing, prevention and rehabilitation is also discussed for the sake of preventing and reducing essential dyslipidemia and its complications, which is according to the theory of"Preventive Treatment of Disease"of Nei Jing.

4.Experimental Study on the Protection of Cordyceps Sinensis to Cydosporine A Nephrotoxicity
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1985;0(06):-
In order to further explore the protective effect of Cordyceps Sinensis (CS) on Cyclosponne A nephrotoxicity (CsA-Nx) and its possible mechanisms, SD rats were divided into two groups: CsA group and CsA + CS group. The results showed that: in different experiment period, serum BUN. Cr, Na. K and urine EOF excretion in CS group were lower than that in control group. In the third month, serum AT- |J in CS group was also lower than that in control group. Pathological examination showed that CS could protect the kidney from CsA-Nx and ameliorate the glomerular and interstitial injuries. It suggests that CS could protect the kidney from CsA-Nx, especially protect the proximal tubular function and ameliorate renal hemodynamics.
5.Effect of Electroacupuncture on Experimental Epilepsy: Roles of Different Acupoints and Stimulation Parameters
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2008;6(5):279-280
Objective: The strategies against epilepsy are currently very limited. The author performed this work to determine the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on epileptic seizures and define the optimal EA conditions (acupoints and stimulation parameters). Methods: Experimental epilepsy was induced by injecting kainic acid into the lateral cerebral ventricle of adult male SD rats. EA with a current of 1 mA/100 Hz or 1 mA/10 Hz was applied to the model starting at 0.5 h after the injection for 30 min. Four pairs of acupoints were tested, including Renzhong (GV 26) + Dazhui (GV 14), Jinsuo (GV 8) + Yaoqi (Ex-B 9), Neiguan (PC 6) + Quchi (LI 11) and Fenglong (ST 40) + Yongquan (KI 1). Results: Behavioral scores showed that (1) either high (100 Hz) or low (10 Hz) frequency EA at different acupoints attenuated epileptic seizures (P<0.05 or 0.01 vs. the control), except EA at Neiguan (PC 6) + Quchi (LI 11) with 1 mA/10 Hz current; (2) EA with low frequency stimulation (10 Hz) induced a better effect at Fenglong (ST 40) + Yongquan (KI 1) than other acupoints (P<0.05 or 0.01); (3) there was no significant difference in EA effects induced by various acupoints when exposed to high frequency EA (100 Hz); and (4) high frequency EA (100 Hz) elicited a better effect than low frequency EA (10 Hz) in all groups (P<0.05 or 0.01) except for that of Jinsuo (GV 8) + Yaoqi (Ex-B 9). EEG showed the similar tendency, i.e., EA generally reduced the amplitude and frequency of epileptic discharges. Conclusion: Electroacupuncture attenuates epileptic seizures, which is relatively specific to EA parameters and acupoints.
6.High phosphorus foods combined with 5/6 nephrectomy for establishing rat hyperparathyroidism model secondary to chronic renal failure
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2000;0(07):-
Objective:To establish a rat hyperparathyroidism model secondary to chronic renal failure,so as to lay a foundation for studying the mechanism and treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism. Methods: Thiry-six male Sprague-Dawley rats, weighing 200-250 g,were randomly divided into 6 groups: 5/6 nephrectomy plus high phosphorus food group(STNx + HP),5/6 nephrectomy plus low phosphorus food group(STNx + LP),5/6 nephrectomy plus normal phosphorus food group(STNx + NP),sham operation plus high phosphorus food group(Sham + HP),sham operation plus low phosphorus food group(Sham + LP),and sham operation plus normal phosphorus food group(Sham + NP).Nephrectomy was performed in 2 steps.Serum phosphorus levels(P) and iPTH levels were detected at day 7 pre-operation and day 7,14,and 21 after the second operation. The kidneys, thyroid glands and parathyroid glands complex underwent pathological analysis 4 weeks after operation. Results: Five patients survived in STNx+NP group,4 in STNx+LP group and 4 in STNx+HP group postoperatively. No death occurred in sham operated groups.Serum phosphorus levels of nephrectomy groups at different time points after operation were higher than those before operation and those of sham operation groups(P

Objective: To evaluate the value of high resolution ultrasonography for diagnosis of secondary hyperparathyroism(HPT) in uremia and its relationship with serum parathyroid hormone(PTH). Methods: Ultrasonography was used to examine parathyroid gland and serum PTH, calcium, phosphorus in 55 cases of uremic patients. Results: Totally 64 parathyroid glands in 52 patients(94%) and over 2 glands in 11 cases(20%) were found. The volumes of parathyroid gland was larger and the value of PTH was abviously increased in over 2 glands than in single gland( P
8.Application of graft eversion anastomosis technique in aortic surgery
Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2021;37(3):188-192
Due to the emergence of various treatment methods for aortic diseases, the treatment methods of anastomosis have become diversified. The anastomosis of the graft distal eversion partly inserted into the aorta or graft inversion wholely inserted into the aorta increase the joint area between them, and it obviously reduces the impact of tidal blood flow and the lateral force on the anastomosis. Therefore, it has the outstanding advantages of reducing the risk of hemorrhage after anastomosis, simplifying the intraoperative suture operation and easy treatment of anastomotic hemorrhage.Similar techniques with different names are often used in the surgical treatment of aortic lesions and have achieved good anastomosis. In this paper, the concept is uniformly referred to as " Graft Eversion Anastomosis Technique" , and its application evolution in aortic surgery is systematically expounded, so as to further deepen the understanding of the technology.

Objective To study the relationship among the area of transverse section of radial artery, the major axis length of the ellipse with same centroid as transverse section, the maximum centroid displacement in the direction parallel with skin surface in a cardiac cycle and width of pulse tracing. Methods ECG, pressure phygmograms and ultrasound images of transverse section of radial artery of 40 patients with different width of pulse tracing and 20 healthy persons were collected synchronously with a new-type sphymograph. On the basis of images analysis with MATLAB 7.0.1, image characteristics of transverse section of radial artery and centroid motion locus of pulse tracings with different width in a cardiac cycle were observed and analyzed. Results Between pulse tracings with different width, there were significant differences in the area of transverse section of radial artery, the major axis length of the ellipse with same centroid as transverse section and the maximum centroid displacement in the direction parallel with skin surface in a cardiac cycle. Conclusions The mean, maximum and minimum value of the area of transverse section and the major axis length of ellipse and the maximum centroid displacement can be used to discriminate width of pulse tracing.
