1.Application of DSA Image Mosaic in Arteriography in Lower Extremities
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective To evaluate the value of DSA image mosaic in arteriography in lower extremities. Methods 22 suspected cases were examined by bolus chase, and then the images were mosaiced to a full picture after processing by Paste to judge the image effects of vessels. Results This method could display the whole image by one injection of contrast media. Vary lesions were found in the 22 cases. Conclusion This method can display the lower extremities lesions directly, which is better than traditional DSA.
2.Contrast Test of Injection Indisposition between Disome and Monomer Diagnostic Opaque in Femoral Arteriogram
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective To compare the safety and efficiency of non -ionic monomer diagnostic opaque, iodixanol (Visipaque) and that of non -ionic disomer diagnostic opaque, iohexol (Omnipaque). Methods By comparing retrospectively the DSA opacification of 60 patients from 2006 to 2007, patients′ indispositions, adverse reactions and pictorial efficiency were recorded respectively. Results In the control group, iodixanol showed less indisposition caused by injection than iohexol and there′ s no obvious difference of indisposition. Both images met diagnostic requirements. Conclusion Both iodixanol and iohexol are safe, efficient and well -tolerant diagnostic opaque. Iodixanol is better than iohexol in indisposition caused by injection.

Objective To investigate the correlation of serum advanced glycation end products (AGEs) and the expression of receptor for AGE (RAGE) with mental disorders in senile people. Methods All the subjects aged 65~67 years were divided into 4 groups: healthy control (31 cases), Alzheimer's disease (AD) (36 eases), vascular dementia (VD) (20 cases) and mental disorder (MD) (28 cases). Fluorospectrophotometry was carried out to measure the AGEs levels in serum samples, and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to determine the mRNA levels of RAGE in white blood cells. Results AGEs levels were 477. 1±36.2, 512. 6±33.2 and 415.2±32.5 AU/ml in AD, VD and MD group, respectively, which were higher than that in healthy control group (357.4±28. 2) AU/ml (F=3.77,P<0. 05). The mRNA levels of RAGE(RAGE/b- actin) were found to be 1.12±0.34, 1.27±0.41 and 1.18±0.42 in AD, VD and MD group, respectively, which were also significantly higher than that in healthy control group(0. 92±0. 37, F= 4. 07,P<0. 01). However, no significant differences were found in RAGE mRNA levels among the three groups of AD,VD and MD (F=0. 979,P>0. 05). The mRNA levels of RAGE in WBCs were found to be positively correlated with the serum AGEs levels (r=0. 442, P<0. 01). Conclusions Compared with patients in healthy control group, the serum AGEs levels and RAGE mRNA levels are significantly increased in patients with AD, VD and MD. The interaction between AGEs and RAGE may be involved in the pathogenesis of mental disorders in senile people.

Objective To overview the clinical and endoscopic features of the ischemic colitis. Methods Retrospective analysis was conducted. Results Of the 60 cases, 87% were over 50 years, and females were more than males. 76.7% of the cases were associated with the basal diseases such as cardio cerebrovascular disorders, diabetes and hematological diseases as well as the history of abdominal operation. Colonoscopy showed mucosal edema, congestion, erosion and ulceration. 87.1% of the cases were cured after treatment and 16.7 % were improved. The outcome may be associated with the age, severity of the lesion, course, basal diseases and the complications. Conclusions Endoscopy plays a vital role in the early diagnosis of ischemic colitis.

Medical has the dual attributes essentially , which is not only a science but also a humanology . Therefore , it needs to be nourished by rich humanistic spirit .At present , the generalization of medical technology , the abnormal development of medicine socialization and the less care from humanities to medical and many other reasons lead to the lack of humanistic spirit of medicine .To correct the phenomenon of the disorder, we should explore the effective means actively to provide powerful support for the returning of the medical humanism .There-fore, using an appropriate method to strengthen the humanities education of medical students and attention in the classroom will be regarded as good path in medical humanities spirit returning .

Objective To study autologous peripheral blood stem cells (PBSCs) transplantation for cardiac myoid cells formation and angionesis after recombinant human granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (rhG-CSF) mobilizing. Methods The 60 white Japanese big-ear rabbits were divided into 3 groups, i.e. transplantation (T) mobiliztor (M) and control (C) groups, each group with 20 rabbits. Myocardial infarction (MI) model was developed by ligating the anterior descending coronary artery. G-CSFs were given continually for 7 d in T and M groups since 1 h after MI model development. Cell suspension which derived from the peripheral blood and labeled with BrdU which prepared 1 week ago were injected into infarction regions and borders, while in C groups only the same doses saline was injected. The survival and differentiation of the implanted cells were detected with histological analyses and capillary densities. Results BrdU positive cells which were taken on immature cardiac myoid cells were observed at infarcted areas in T group, which were detected as the Actin positively. HE stains showed that the structures of infarction regions were deranged in C group, but in T and M groups cell arrangements were arranged regularly. Meanwhile, there were a large amount of neogenesis capillaries. The capillaries densities were respectively (58.2 ± 11.5) and (52.3±6.0) per high-power field in T and M groups, while in C group was (21.6±4.9) (P<0.01 ). In C group blue collagen fibers were much more than T and M group under Masson stains (P <0.01). In T and M groups the cardiac functions were much better than in the C group at the end of 4 weeks, especially ejection fraction were respectively (65.34±2.54)% and (63.40±2.84)% in M and T groups. In C group it was only (50.51 ±6.47)% (P<0.01). Conclusion After G-CSF mobilizing the implanted PBSCs may survive and differentiate into cardiac myoid cells in infarcted areas and vicinities, at the same time promote neogenisis and improve cardiac function. It is significant that cell transplantation will treat the cardiac infarction in future.

Objective To prepare polypeptide nerve growth factor (NGF) thermosentitive gel and observe drug release in vitro,in order to provide scientific information for biopharmaceuticals delivery system design aiming to treat the inner disease. Methods The thermosensitive in situ gel was prepared with NGF as main component and Pluronic F127 as the gel matrixes. The effect of concentration of gel matrix PF127 on lower critical solution temperature(LCST) were investigated. In vitro release kinetic studies were performed using membraneless dissolution method and reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method was adopted to determine NGF content in the dissolution medium. Results The average LCST of NGF-loaded gel prepared by different concentration of PF127 was 28.48-36.26℃ and the gels had good stability. The in vitro release kinetics was well characterized by sustained release and can be fitted by zero order kinetics. The in vitro accumulated release ratio of NGF in the thermosensitive gel reached to above 95%.hβ-NGF loaded in higher PF127 gel resulted in a more sustained release of hβ-NGF from the thermosensitive gel. Conclusion Well-prepared NGF thermosensitive gel is a promising inner ear-oriented drug delivery system for treating deafness and deserves to further development.
