1.Mechanisms involved in liver metastasis of breast cancer
Practical Oncology Journal 2017;31(1):48-52
Liver is the common metastatic site of breast cancer .The process of liver metastasis consists of multiple steps and involves various factors from breast cancer cells and the liver micro -environment .In this re-view,we reviewed the molecular(including the connection of proteins ,protein kinases,miRNAs),signal transduc-tion pathways(including CXCL12-CXCR4 axis,Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway,AF1q/TCF7/CD44 regu-latory axis, laminin receptor/Akt/ERK signaling pathway,leptin/ERK/IL-8 signaling pathway)and the influen-cing factors(including hypoxia inducible factors,tumor-associated fibroblasts, adipose tissue matrix stem cells, metalloproteinases, selective ligands, inflammatory cell infiltration)associated with the liver micro -environment in breast cancer .
2.The nutritional therapy of cholestatic liver disease in infants
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2013;(10):901-904
There are various causes of cholestatic liver disease in infants that include extrahepatic biliary tract diseases, liver diseases, anatomical abnormality, metabolic or endocrine diseases, poisoning, infection, and so on. The causes leads to re-duction or interruption in bile lfow and thus results in nutrients malabsorption and comprehensive metabolic disorder. The aims of nutritional therapy for cholestatic liver disease are to reduce the risk of cholestasis related complications, to promote recov-ery of liver diseases, to restore bile flow, to promote growth and improve the comprehensive metabolic disorders, to improve quality of life and to prepare children for liver transplantation.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2010;32(6):533-534
Objective To establish a RP-HPLC method for the determination of drug release in vitro of atractylenolide Ⅰ liposomes. Methods The release behavior of the drug from liposomes was studied by the third method for dissolution. ZORBAX C18 column (4.6 mm × 250 mm, 5 μm) was used with a mobile phase of Methanol-Acetonitrile-0.2% from liposomes in vitro fitted the log-normal distribution equation and had a property of sustained release. Conclusion The method is simple, fast and selective. It is suitable for the determination of release profile in vitro of atractylenolide Ⅰ liposomes.

Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2009;28(7):587-589
Objective To investigate the correlation of serum advanced glycation end products (AGEs) and the expression of receptor for AGE (RAGE) with mental disorders in senile people. Methods All the subjects aged 65~67 years were divided into 4 groups: healthy control (31 cases), Alzheimer's disease (AD) (36 eases), vascular dementia (VD) (20 cases) and mental disorder (MD) (28 cases). Fluorospectrophotometry was carried out to measure the AGEs levels in serum samples, and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to determine the mRNA levels of RAGE in white blood cells. Results AGEs levels were 477. 1±36.2, 512. 6±33.2 and 415.2±32.5 AU/ml in AD, VD and MD group, respectively, which were higher than that in healthy control group (357.4±28. 2) AU/ml (F=3.77,P<0. 05). The mRNA levels of RAGE(RAGE/b- actin) were found to be 1.12±0.34, 1.27±0.41 and 1.18±0.42 in AD, VD and MD group, respectively, which were also significantly higher than that in healthy control group(0. 92±0. 37, F= 4. 07,P<0. 01). However, no significant differences were found in RAGE mRNA levels among the three groups of AD,VD and MD (F=0. 979,P>0. 05). The mRNA levels of RAGE in WBCs were found to be positively correlated with the serum AGEs levels (r=0. 442, P<0. 01). Conclusions Compared with patients in healthy control group, the serum AGEs levels and RAGE mRNA levels are significantly increased in patients with AD, VD and MD. The interaction between AGEs and RAGE may be involved in the pathogenesis of mental disorders in senile people.

Objective To develop-the rat model of diffuse brain injury(DBI)and to observe the pathophysio logical alteration of the rats after.traumatic injury. Methods A modified Marmarou's traumatic device W88 used to establish the animal model of diffuse brain injury with different degree through changing the impact condition that was applied on the rat brain(including 80cm 450g,120 cm 450g and 180cm 400g);the animal model was evaluated by observing the variations of nervous system signs, vital signs, sensorimotor function, and morphological changes of brain tissue in the rats that have received different impacts. Results The significant changes in nervous system signs, vital signs and sensorimotor function had been observed in all rats that were subjected to the different impact. The pathologic changcs of DBI in rats brain could he found in all groups. Moreover, this characteristic changes would have became more significant following the traumatic iaiury when the impact energy was increased. Conclusion The rat model of graded diffuse brain injury have been developed successfully. The moderate impact(120cm 450g)could produce low animal death rate and result in obvious pathologieal alterations in the injured rat brain. This impact condition would be suitable to be used in the study about DBI.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and the adverse effect of mycophenolate mofetil(MMF)in HBV associated glomerulonephritis. Methods Twenty patients with HBV-GN diagnosed by renal biopsy were treated with MMF.The initial dosage of MMF was 1.5 g/d.The dosage was reduced to 1.0 g/d when 24 h excretion of urinary protein decreased to 0.5 g/d.Blood routine test, hepatic and renal function, plasma albumin, serum triglyceride and cholesterol,24 h urinary protein excretion,HBV DNA were performed before and after 2,3,6,9 months' treatment. Results Twenty-four-hour urinary protein excretion was significantly reduced by the treatment with mycophenolate mofetil(P
