Objective To study the rehabilitation for batches of the wounded suffering from the earthquake in hospital. Methods 91 cases of trauma occurring in the earthquake were reported. Results There was no dead and any complication happened. 90 cases could self-care as they discharged. Conclusion Multiple specialty rehabilitation would be effective on the wounded suffering from earthquake.
2.Progress in tumor cell apoptosis induced by plant extracts

A number of compounds extracted from plants have cert ain physiological and pharmacological activity.Some of these compounds had been proved to have the ability to induce tumor cell apoptosis and demonstrated antitumor activity depending on their chemical structures.This review focuses on recent progress in the studies about the mechanism of tumor cell apoptosis induced by plant extracts including alkaloids,terpenes and lignans.
3.Misdiagnosis of benign solid space occupying lesions of the liver

Objective Misdiagnosis of benign hepatic mass as malignancy is not infrequent. This study was to improve the clinical diagnosis by reviewing our clinical data for space occupying hepatic lesions. Methods In this study 545 patients undergoing hepatic resection for suspected malignant hepatic lesions were retrospectively studied from Jan 1998 to Jun 2004. All patients were pre-operatively assessed with plasma tumor makers, ultrasonography, computed tomography or magnetic resornance imaging. Percutaneous liver biopsy was employed in selected patients. Final pathological data was reviewed to evaluate preoperative diagnosis. Results Twenty-four out of 545 patients were pathologically diagnosed as with benign lesion. Preoperative misdiagnosis involved atypical radiological characteristics, incomprehensive clinical data and inexperienced recognition for liver lesions. Two of 24 cases suffered from minor post-operative complications, and there was no mortality. No recurrence was found by a mean follow-up of 3 years and 1 month. Conclusions Some benign hepatic lesions are easily misdiagnosed as malignant tumor. Appropriate use of multimodality examination in combination with correct algorithm of diagnostic protocol could improve diagnostic accuracy in cases of benign solid space occupying lesions of the liver.
4.Analysis of 16 cases of maxillofacial space infection caused death

16 death cases of oral and maxillofacial space infection were analyzed.10 of the 16 patients were over 60 years old,the other 6 were aged 49-57 years,most of them had systemic underlying disease,and 11 of them were with diabetes mellitus.Odontogenic infection is the leading cause of maxillofacial infections(n =13).Lethal factor in oral and maxillofacial space infection is various,and comprehensive treatment should be given.
5.Cloning and Identification of the cDNA and Genomic DNA Sequences of the Defensin Gene of Anopheles sinensis

Objective To clone and identify the cDNA sequence and genomic DNA sequence of Anopheles sinensis defensin gene. Methods Referring to the published defensin gene sequences of Aedes aegypti and Anopheles gambiae, pairs of primers were designed to amplify the cDNA sequence and genomic DNA sequence of Anopheles sinensis defensin gene with template of Anopheles sinensis total RNA by RT-PCR and genomic DNA by nested PCR, respectively. These amplified fractions were cloned and sequenced, and were further identified and analyzed by relevant bioinformatics softwares. Results Complete genomic DNA sequence was cloned, including 5′ and 3′ UTR fraction and two exons separated by a 85 bp intron. Besides, the whole cDNA sequence of Anopheles sinensis defensin gene with 324 bp was also cloned, and its ORF encoded 107 amino acids. The mature peptide had 40 amino acids residues. Conclusion The whole cDNA sequence and complete genomic DNA sequence of the defensin gene of Anopheles sinensis have been cloned and identified for the first time.
6.Inhibition in in vitro proliferation human prostate cancer PC_3 cells induced by melatonin

AIM To explore the inhibition in in vitro p roliferation human prostate cancer PC 3 cells induced by melatonin and the effe ct of combination of melatonin and 5-Fu. METHODS Cell growth cu rve, MTT assay, and acid phosphatase(ACP)activity were used to determine cell proliferation. Coomassie brillient blue assay and modified diphenylamine assay w ere used to measure the content of protein and DNA in PC 3 cells. ACP activity was measured by modified phenyl phosphat e method of kind and king and modified method of lowry. Co-administration effec t of MLT and 5-fluorouracil(5-Fu)on PC 3 cell proliferation was determined by MTT assay. RESULTS The IC 50 of MLT for inhibiting PC 3, CoLo205, K562, and HeLa cell proliferation was(1 20?0 30),(1 27?0 12) ,(1 60?0 16)and(2 25?0 11)mmol?L -1 , respectively. And MLT inhib ited all above cells proliferation in a concentration-dependent manner. The protein and DNA content and ACP activity in PC 3 cell treated with 2 mmol?L -1 MLT for 96 h were redu ced 58 77%, 54 97% and 89 24%, respectively. When PC 3 cells were treated wi th MLT in combination with 5-Fu 0 5 mg?L -1 , the inhibition rate enhance d. CONCLUSION MLT inhibited PC 3, CoLo205, K562, and HeLa cell p roliferation, and reduced the content of protein and DNA and ACP activity in PC 3 cell. Aim Organotin compounds are important organometallic chemicals with a variety of technical applications.Of these compounds,the trialkyltins,especially tributyltin,triphenyltin and trimethyltin,have been proved to have the distinct ability to induce tumor cell apoptosis and significant antitumor activity.They can induce tumor cell apoptosis through Fas receptor,mitochondrial,Ca 2+,MAPKs,p53,NF-?B and caspase/p38/ROS pathway.This paper reviewed recent progress in the studies on signal transduction in tumor cell apoptosis induced by trialkyltin compounds.
8.CLONING AND SEQUENCE ANALYSIS OF SSU rRNA GENE OF CUTANEOUS LEISHMANIASIS PATHOGEN FROM XINJIANG OF CHINA

Objective] By sequencing of SSU rRNA gene cloning from Xinjiang cutaneous leishmaniasis pathogen (XJCLP) to provide evidence for identification of the pathogen. [Methods] By PCR assay with primers R222 and R333, the specific fragment had been produced from SSU rRNA gene of XJCLP , L infantum, L tropica and cloned into pGEM ○[KG-6/7]R T Easy vector .The clones were sequenced by the Sanger dideoxy mediated chain termination method, analysis of SSU rRNA gene sequences from XJCLP, L tropica, L infantum with DNASIS. [Results] Sequence analysis showed that the specific fragment of SSU rRNAgene from XJCLP, L infantum,L tropica , were all 394 bp in length. There were 391 bases identical and three point mutations between the sequences of XJCLP and L tropica , the similarity being 99 2%; 390 bases identical and three point mutations and one insertion /deletion between the sequences of XJCLP and L infantum , the similarity being 99 0%. One insertion/deletion between the sequences of L tropica and L infantum , the similarity being 99 7%. The primary and secondary structures of SSU rRNA gene from XJCLP differed from those of L infantum and L tropica .A retrieval from GenBank confirmed that these 394 bp sequence are new gene sequences. [Conclusion]The primary and secondary structures of SSU rRNA gene from XJCLP, L infantum , L tropica were different. 394 bp sequence from SSU rRNA gene of XJCLP is a new gene sequence.
9.Clinical and pathological features of non-Hodgkin′s lymphoma in children

Objective:To retrospectively analyze the clinical data of 73 children with non-Hodgkin′s lymphoma to determine its clinical features, pathological types and relationship with efficacy.Methods:In Shanghai Children′s Hospital from October 2014 to October 2018, 73 children with newly diagnosed non-Hodgkin′s lymphoma were enrolled for a retrospective study, with 52 males and 21 females, aged between 2 and 13 years old, so as to comprehensively assess cumulative organs, pathological diagnosis, stage of disease, surgery and efficacy.Results:Among the 73 children with non-Hodgkin′s lymphoma, 66 cases had a clear pathological diagnosis, including 38 cases of surgical pathology and 20 cases of biopsy pathology.All of them were confirmed by immunohistochemisty, and 8 cases were determined by flow cytometry.Meanwhile, 6 cases of the rest 7 cases obtained approximate pathological classification.Only 1 case was unknown.Among the 66 cases, Burkitt lymphoma was the most common in 31 cases, followed by 14 cases of T-lymphocyte type, 7 cases of enlarged lymphoma, 6 cases of B-lymphocyte type, 5 cases of diffuse large B lymphoma, 1 case of extranodal natural killer/T cell lymphoma-nasal type, 1 case of blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm, and 1 case of panniculitis-like T lymphoma.The initial site or cumulative organ involved multiple organs, with most common in neck(20 cases), abdominal cavity(15 cases), and mediastinum(6 cases). In view of outcomes and efficacy, the complete remission rates of stage Ⅱ, Ⅲ, and Ⅳ in clinical were 100.0%, 85.1%, and 72.2%, respectively.The event-free survival rates in stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ were lower than those in stage Ⅱ(80.9% vs. 66.7% vs. 100.0%). From the perspective of the main pathological types grouping, the results revealed that lymphoblastic lymphoma had a lower event-free survival rate than Burkitt′s lymphoma (73.7% vs.90.3%), while there was no statistical significance(all P>0.05). Conclusions:Non-Hodgkin′s lymphoma in children is more common in men, and less common in infants and young children.Pathological type is simpler than adults, Burkitt lymphoma is the most common type, and clinical stage and pathological type may be related to prognosis.
10.The experimental study of cryopreserved neural stem cells transplanting on Wistar rat spinal cord injury

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of spinal cord injury(SCI)by transplantation cryopreserved neural stem ceils(NSCs).Methods 45 Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups.with 15 rats in each group.Transplantations were carried out two days after SCI,group A:0.9% saline water,group B:NSCs,group C:cryopreserved NSCs.After the transplantation,immunohistochemical and tissue incision were appeared to detect the survival and differentiation of the transplanted ceils in nivo,and the methods of BBB and oblique plate were used to estimate the recovery of function.Results Group B and C all had active NSCs except group A.The injuried spinal cord A[(3.9±0.1)mm2],B[(1.2±0.3)mm2]and C[(1.1±0.3)mm2],there was an variance in the three groups (F=423.949,P<0.01),BBB test:group A[(2.0±0.5)mark],B[(16.4±0.8)mark]and C [(16.0±1.4)mark],there was an variance in the three groups(F=970.157,P<0.01),the oblique plate test:group A[(31.3±2.9)degree],B[(46.8±2.1)degree]and C[(46.5.4-2.4)degree],there was an variance in the three groups(F=151.099,P<0.01),the tests demonstrate there were no variance in group B and C(all P>0.05),there was no variance in living rate between the cryopreserved NSCs group [(55.9±5.2)%]and no eryopreserved[(65.1±3.4)%,t=3.334,P>0.05].Conclusions Cryopreserved NSCs keep the ability of reproducdon and differentiation.NSCs is a kind of valuable cell resource for the therapy of SCI.
