1.Preventive effect of pollen on obesity of MSG-mice
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(03):-
Preventive effect of pollen, (at 5~10g/kg/d orally for 1 month) on obe-sity and elevation of lipid in serum and liver was observed in obese mice induced by sub-cutaneous injection of L-monosodium glutamate (MSG)2 mg/g from 1st to 5th day afterbirth. The results showed that in MSG-treated mice the body weight and weight of fatin groin, around kidney, and in abdominal cavity and also the Lee's index were all redu-ced by pollen given orally before onset of obesity caused by MSG and during development. The total cholesterol and triglyceride levels in serum and liver were much higher in theMSG mice than normal mice. These results indicated that ora1 administration of pollencould prevent obesity of MSG treated mice.
2.Effect of Integrated Rehabilitation on Bed-ridden and Complications of the Aged
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2011;17(8):767-769
Objective To explore the effect of integrated rehabilitation on bed-ridden and complcations of the elderly. Methods 109bed-ridden inpatients who accepted rehabilitation were designed as rehabilitation group. 100 bed-ridden inpatients who did not accept rehabilitationwere randomly elected from all the inpatients at the same time were designed as the control group. Their bed-ridden rate, complications, and Modify Barthel Index (MBI) were compared. Results The MBI impoved, and the incidence of bed-ridden and complications reducedin the rehabilitation group compared with those in the control group (P=0.00) after treatment. Conclusion Integrated rehabilitationcan effectively reduce the bed-ridden rate and complications, and improve the activity of daily living of the elderly.

Chinese Journal of Urology 1994;0(02):-
Objective To investigate a clinically perspective way of inducing transplantation tolerance. Methods Kidney transplantation model was established using Lewis (RT1 l) rats as recipients and DA (RT1 a) rats as donor. Before transplantation the recipient rats were conditioned with anti lymphothyte serum (ALS) injected for three times, followed by 10 8 donor bone marrow cells transfusion (BMT) and injection of 100 mg/kg cyclophosphamide (CP), survival time of kidney allografts, mixed lymphocyte reaction (MLR) and delayed type hypersensitivity (DTH) of recipient to donor spleen cells were observed and studied. Results 5 of the 7 kidney allografts survived 73 to 90 days without sign of rejection. The donor specific MLR and DTH were suppressed. Conclusions Induction of transplantation tolerance is a prospective way for the prevention of allograft rejection.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1986;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the insulin and glucagon levels in the patients with different islet cell antibody (ICA) subtypes and to explore the pathogenesis of latent autoimmune diabetes of adult (LADA). Methods Subjects were classified by immunohistology and 29 ICA-peripheral-positive DM patients, 28 ICA-diffused-positive DM patients and 17 controls (ICA-negative) were included. Serum glucose, insulin and plasma glucagon were measured at 0, 30, 60, 120 min after standard meal. Results (1) As compared with controls, glucagon in ICA positive groups were higher (both P

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(11):-
A number of compounds extracted from plants have cert ain physiological and pharmacological activity. Some of these compounds had been proved to have the ability to induce tumor cell apoptosis and demonstrated antitumor activity depending on their chemical structures. This review focuses on recent progress in the studies about the mechanism of tumor cell apoptosis induced by plant extracts including alkaloids, terpenes and lignans.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(05):-
Benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate neoplasm were mainly disease which affect the living of the aging. Melatonin was a mainly hormone secreted by the pineal gland, which had a broad physiological effect. It was reported that melatonin affected the occurrence and development of the two diseases, meanwhile, the special melatonin binding site existed in the prostate tissue had been proved. This review focuses on recent progress in the studies about the aspects.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(8):784-785
Objective To analyse the effect of microwave therapy on tennis elbow. Methods 60 patients with tennis elbow during September, 2007 to September, 2008 were divided into treatment group and control group. The treatment received microwave therapy while control group was treated with Diclofenac Diethylamine. All patients were evaluated by Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) before and after the treatment. Results The VAS is lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.01). Conclusion Microwave therapy is effective on tennis elbow.

China Pharmacist 2015;18(12):2050-2053
Objective:To study the preparation methods of N3-O-toluyl-flulorouracil (TFu) solid lipid nanoparticles(SLNs) and chitosan modified TFu SLNs. Methods: TFu-SLNs and chitosan modified TFu-SLNs were prepared by film dispersion-homogenization methods. The morphology, particle diameter and zeta potential were detected. The preparation methods were optimized by single factor experiments and an orthogonal design, and the stability of the nanoparticles was also studied. Results: The mean diameter of TFu-SLNs was 160. 2nm, and the zeta potential was -33. 2 mV. The mean diameter of chitosan modified TFu- SLNs was 400. 3nm, and the zeta potential was +12. 87 mV. With the concentration increase of chitosan, the zeta potential was enhanced. The optimized TFu-SLNs had higher reproducibility and stability. Conclusion:The formula of TFu-SLNs is optimized by an orthogonal design to obtain the optimal formula of TFu -SLNs and chitosan modified TFu-SLNs.

BACKGROUND:In recent years, the researchers have studied the adjacent segment degeneration after cervical fusion. Several studies concerned the adjacent segment degeneration after anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion.
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the correlative factors of adjacent segment degeneration after anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion.
METHODS:122 patients were included in the study from 126 patients who underwent anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion that operated by the same treatment team and involved a single vertebral body and the two plates between February 2009 and February 2012. The final fol ow-up period was 3 years. According to the degeneration progress of adjacent segment degeneration, these patients were divided into non-progression group and progression group. The gender, age, preoperative adjacent segment degeneration, cervical range of motion, upper and lower vertebral range of motion, surgical segment, titanium mesh subsidence, plate-to-disc distance, and cervical curvature index were compared between two groups. Logistic regression analysis was applied to analyze the correlative factors of adjacent segment degeneration.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) There were significant differences in preoperative adjacent segment degeneration, postoperative cervical range of motion, postoperative upper and lower vertebral range of motion, and postoperative cervical curvature index (P<0.05), which were included in logistic regression analysis. (2) Logistic regression analysis regression model:adjacent segment degeneration=0.317× postoperative cervical range of motion+3.374×preoperative adjacent segment degeneration+1.862 × postoperative lower vertebral range of motion-0.795×postoperative cervical curvature index-16.481. Logistic regression analysis demonstrated that preoperative range of motion, postoperative cervical range of motion, postoperative lower vertebral range of motion and postoperative cervical curvature index were correlative factors of range of motion after adjacent segment degeneration (P<0.05). (3) These results indicated that preoperative adjacent segment degeneration, postoperative cervical range of motion, postoperative lower vertebral range of motion and postoperative cervical curvature index were correlative factors of adjacent segment degeneration. We should actively carry out effective measures to prevent the progress of the adjacent segment degeneration before, during and after anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion.
