Objective:To improve the CT bulb tube cooling rate and the testing method of the CT bulb tube temperature, and provide more stable platform for better bulb tube protection and longer life-span. Methods: The designed specified cold air machine could transfer the dry cold wind into machine rack, which can lower the ambient temperature of the machine rack and increase the air flow inside the machine rack and promote the efficiency of the heat exchange of the bulb tube oil cooling circuit. Results:the design of this system’s joint is light and handy, which could collect the instantaneous temperature change of the bulb tube, and carry out simple man-machine interaction monitoring. Conclusion:According to the bulb tube oil-way temperature and ambient temperature and relative humidity, the computer can dynamically adjust the refrigerating capacity and operation/cease of the air cooler. Then it can constitute the closed control loop, and accelerate the efficiency of the bulb tube’s heat dissipation, and promote the heat capacity of the bulb tube equivalently.

Objective To investigate the value of multi planar reconstruction (MPR) with 64-slice spiral CT for diseases of lumbar disc, vertebra and accessory etc. Methods 50 cases of MPR were compared with 64-slice spiral CT on protrusion of lumbar disc at radom. Results MPR with 64-slice spiral CT showed not only the protrusion of lumbar disc but also the diseases of the vertebra, the accessory, and the adjacent tissue. Conclusion MPR with 64-slice spiral CT has a good value in diagnosis of disease of lumbar disc, vertebra, accessory and the adjacent tissue.

Objective To compare the values of 3D-SPACE sequence and 2D-TSE sequence for displaying the anatomical details of the sinus tarsi ligament of the ankle. Methods 1.5T Siemens Auanto MRI scanner and 8-channel skull phased array coil were used for the examination of 26 healthy volunteers with 3D-SPACE three-dimensional isotropic sectional scanning as well as 2D-T1WI-TSE transverse and 2D-T2WI-TSE coronal sagittal two-dimensional fast spin echo scan. Two senior MRI radiologists evaluated the display rates of the two sequences for the cervical ligament of sinus tarsi and talus ligament so as to determine the values of the two sequences for displaying the cervical ligament of sinus tarsi. Results 3D-SPACE sequence behaved significantly better than 2D sequence when used to display the sinus tarsi ligament (P<0.05),and the display rates were statistically different at different positions (P<0.05).3D-SPACE sequence gained obvious advantages over 2D conventional TSE sequence when used to display the cervical ligament of sinus tarsi and talus ligament, and the highest display rate occurred in case of the cervical ligament of sinus tarsi scanned with 3D-SPACE coronal view and in case of the talus ligament scanned at coronal and sagittal positions. Conclusion 3D-SPACE sequence can display clearly the anatomical details of the sinus tarsi ligament with multiplanar reconstruction, curved planar reformation and etc,and thus is worthy promoting clinically.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2017;38(5):76-78,85
Objective To analyze the consistency between 1.5T MRI and arthroscope when used to diagnose anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries. Methods Totally 162 ACL injury patients underwent MRI examination, and the results by arthroscope were used as the diagnosis standard. The curve of receiver operating characteristic (ROC) was applied to evaluating the ACL injuries diagnosis by MRI,and the consistency was analyzed between 1.5T MRI and arthroscope. Results MRI had the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy being 98.69%,81.82% and 98.77% respectively when used to diagnose ACL injuries, and there was high consistency between MRI and arthroscope (Kappa=0.909,P>0.05).Conclusion MRI gains high sensitivity and specificity when used to diagnose ACL injuries as well as high consistency with arthroscope, and thus can be a preferred non-invasive way to diagnose ACL injuries.

Objective To investigate the curative effect and safety of percutaneous intradiscal injection of ozone combined with epidural injection of collagenase for the treatment of prominent lumbar disc protrusion. Methods A total of 541 patients with lumbar disc protrusion were included in this study. All the patients fulfilled the following criteria:the fibrous ring was broken, the protruded extent of nucleus pulposus was less than 10 mm and the dura sac and/or nerve root was compressed. The intradiscal injection of ozone combined with epidural injection of collagenase was performed in all patients. The patients were followed up through further consultation, letters, telephone or other ways.Five hundred and forty-one cases were followed up for 2-3 months(short-term),312 cases for 4-12 months(medium-term)and 115 cases for 13-18 months(ling-term).The short-term,medium-term and long-term curative effects were evaluated with unified curative criteria, and the results were compared with that obtained with the treatment of epidural injection of collagenase only. Results The short-term, medium-term and long-term effective rate of selected cases was 95.9%(519/541),90.4%(489/541)and 87.2%(472/541),respectively.When combined application of two methods was performed, different degree of shrinkage of the protruded nucleus pulposus was obviously observed, with a mean shrinkage degree of 30.5%.The short-term,medium-term and long-term effective rate of simple collagenase chemonucleolysis was 89.5%,82.4%and 80.4%,respectively.Conclusion Intradiscal injection of ozone combined with epidural injection of collagenase is an effective treatment for lumbar disc protrusion when the fibrous ring is broken, the protruded extent of nucleus pulposus is less than 10 mm and the dura sac and/or nerve root is compressed. Its curative effect is superior to simple collagenase chemonucleolysis. Ozone is of clinical significance for producing the shrinkage of the nucleus pulposus.
