Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2016;15(10):1053-1056
Clinical surgical teaching is an important course of undergraduate teaching.Aiming at the problem of disconnection between operation and case in traditional video teaching and observing teaching in operation room,a new model of live surgery teaching based on case teaching was launched:intraoperative diagnosis and preoperative medical history collection were combined;intraoperative surgical anatomy and similar comparative study;teaching surgery were combined with pathology and postoperative adjuvant therapy.Through the questionnaire it was found that all of the students were satisfied with live surgery teaching,96.5% of the students believed the model would contribute to their understanding of textbook knowledge and memory, and 94.8% of the students thought the model could improve their interest in clinical learning.

Purpose To analyze the clinical and pathological features of intracranial tumor in children. Methods 221 cases of in-tracranial tumors in children ( ages≤18 years) were retrospectively analyzed. Results The cases of intracranial tumor in children ac-counted for 7. 21% of total cases in our hospital during the same period. There is no documented gender bias. There were only 14 cases (6. 33%) with age less than 3 years old. The supratentorial tumors were 153 cases (69. 23%) and infratentorial tumors were 68 cases (30. 77%) . The most frequently affected sites were the cerebral hemispherse, sellar region, vermis and the fourth ventricle. There were 89 benign tumor and 132 malignant tumor in this series of cases. The most common five tumors were astrocytic tumors (30. 32%), embryonal tumors (19. 00%), craniopharyngiomas (11. 76%), ependymal tumors (8. 14%) and germ cell tumors (5. 88%). Conclusion The morbidity of intracranial tumors in children has increased in the recent years. The histological classifica-tion of intracranial tumors in children is multiple and it is essential to make a correct diagnosis.

Meth-ods The clinical and pathological features analysis and immunohistochemistry methods were utilized to study the histopathology features of a case Wolffian adnexal tumor. Results One case of unilateral WAT which located in broad ligament display a solid-cystic mass with pedicled and enveloped, its histology showed large and small tubulars, screen structure and solid zone. Its immunohistochemistry staining was positive for pan-cytokeratin,vimentin,CK18 and CD99,positive staining for α-inhibin in a little tumor cell, and negative for calretinin,CD10,EMA, ER,PR,Syn,CA15-3,CA19-9,Ki-67 index is less than 5%. PAS positive staining for the basement membrane around Gland like structure. Conclusion Wolffian adnexal tumour is diagnosised by its histopathological, immunohistochemical and it’ s distinctive location where Wolffi-an duct remnants are found.

BACKGROUND:The existed artificial anal sphincter cannot sense whether there are intestinal contents in the bowel and the state of intestinal contents, and the previous studies on the intestinal content signal did not included the different parts of colon and the signals of different intestinal content status.
OBJECTIVE:To compare the differences of ultrasound signals of different intestinal content status in different parts of New Zealand rabbits detected with transmission-type ultrasonic signal detection system.
METHODS:Twenty healthy New Zealand rabbits were used;the rabbits were divided into groups according to distal part of proximal colon, distal colon and distal rectum. Five positions of solid stool particles were selected randomly as the detection point in each group. The voltage signals of stool were measured under solid, fluid, gaseous, and deflation status of the lumen.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:In rectum, there were no significant differences in voltage signals between solid and gaseous conditions, while there were significant differences between fluid and deflation conditions (P=0.000). Multiple comparison showed there were significant differences between four conditions in distal part of proximal colon and distal colon (P=0). There were significant differences in voltage singles between rectum, distal colon and proximal colon under solid and fluid conditions (P=0). Multiple comparison showed there were significant differences in any part of large bowel for solid and fluid status (P=0). There were no significant differences in voltage singles between rectum, distal colon and proximal colon under gaseous and deflation conditions. There was interactive effect of intestinal contents between three parts of large bowel under the four conditions (P=0.000). Transmission-type ultrasonic detection system can distinguish artificial intestinal contents sensory nerves of various intestinal contents. And the application of ultrasonic detection system to detect the intestinal contents under different conditions can provide a new effective method for the research on artificial intestinal content sensory nerves.

To explore the diagnostic value of susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) for intracranial cavernous hemangioma. The magnetic resonance sequences of SWI,conventional imaging (MRI) and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) were performed in 37 patients of intracranial cavernous hemangioma to compare their different imaging capacities.Among them, the number of lesions found on T1WI,T2WI,DWI and SWI sequences were 40,41,42 and 50 respectively. Thus SWI may detect regular MRI negative or smaller lesions of intracranial cavernous hemangioma.
