Objective To observe the mechanism of Zijin capsule on treating prostatitis. Methods Bacillary prostatitis rat model was made by injecting E.coil into prostate. The changes of serum TNF-?, IL-2, IL-8, IL-10 and mRNA expression of IL-8 and TNF-? in rat prostate were observed. Results Zijin capsule could reduce the serum TNF-?, IL-8 and prostate TNF-?, IL-8 mRNA expression in rat, increase the level of IL-2 and IL-10. Conclusion Zijin capsule could regulate the immune function of bacillary prostatitis rat model. Participation of immune regulation may be one of the treating mechanisms.

Objective Severe bronchial stricture due to endobronchial tuberculosis is often accompanied by complex complication,such as obstructiv pneumonia,destroyed lung and bronchiectasis.Its treatment is very diffucult.The present report is to investigate and analyze the indication and efficacy of surgical treatment of bronchial stricture due to severe endobronchial tuberculosis.Methods Reviewed the clinico-pathological records documenting the surgical outcomes in 81 bronchial stricture due to severe endobronchial tuberculosis who underwent lobectomy or pneumonectomy enrolled in our hospital between January 1990 and December 2010.There were 29 male and 52 female.Mean age was(36 ± 12) years (ranged 16-66 years).The three most common reasons of surgery were bronchial stricture accompanied by pulmonary atelectasis,destroyed lung and bronchiectasis(76 cases,93.8％).79 cases had elective operation,whereas one patients required emergency surgery.Pueumonectomy in 51,lobectomy in 16,sleeve resection in 11,segmental resection in 2,and exploratory thoracotomy in 1.If frozen pathological examination showed that endobronchial tuberculosis remained in the bronchial stump,it was covered with muscle flaps,including intercostal muscle flap in 6 cases,latissimus dorsi muscle flap in 5 cases,serratus anterior muscle flap in 5 cases.The mean operative time was 3.2 h (range between 2 h and 5.5 h) and the blood loss averaged 546 ml (range between 100ml and 4 000 ml).The post operative hospital stay averaged(12 ±8)days.Results No intraoperative or early postoperative death occurred.Nine patients developed complications,including BPF in 2,pulmonary infection in 2,empyema in 1,hemorragic shock in 1,hemothorax in 1,incision infection in 1,chylothorax in 1.All 9 cases recovered well after treatment.Pathological examination showed that tuberculosis bronchial remained in the brinchial stump in 13 cases.Neither BPF nor empyema occurred in all the 13 cases.Multivariate analysis revealed that destroyed lung was significant risk factor of postoperative complication.There were 3 late deaths.Five year survival rate was 96.2％.Conclusion Surgical treatment is still the recommeded treatment modatity for bronchial stricture caused by endobronchial tuberculosis due to its excellent results.It should be performed in time when the drug and intraluninal treatment were no effect for avoiding of being progeressed into destroyed lung.

Objective To understand the carriage of NDM-1 and other carbapenemases in carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacterbaumannii(CRAB)in Jiangxi area,and provide laboratory basis for the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infection (HAI). Methods Sixty-four strains of CRAB isolated from clinical specimens from 3 tertiary first-class hospitals in Jiangxi area from January 2015 to June 2016 were collected,susceptibility to com-monly used antimicrobial agents were detected with Kirby-Bauer method. Carbapenemases and metalloenzyme in CRAB were screened with modified Hodge test and EDTA-disk synergy test respectively,carbapenems gene was de-tected by polymerase chain reaction (PCR),NDM-1-producing Acinetobacterbaumannii (A. baumannii)were per-formed conjugation test.Results The resistance rates of CRAB to ampicillin/sulbactam,ciprofloxacin,gentamicin, and levofloxacin were up to 95.31% ,98.44% ,90.63% ,and 54.69% respectively. The positive rates of modified Hodge test and EDTA-disk synergy test were 76.56% and 96.88% respectively. PCR amplification result showed that 87.50% (n= 56)of CRAB carried OXA-23 and VIM-1 genes,18.75% (n= 12)carried SIM,3.13% (n= 2)car-ried OXA-24,and 26.56% (n= 17)carried NDM-1 . CRAB carrying NDM-1 gene were all from The First Affilia-ted Hospital of Nanchang University,64.70% (11/17)of which were pandrug-resistant strains. Conjugation test re-sult showed that NDM-1-producing strains could transfer NDM-1 gene to recipient strain Escherichiacoli J53,then acquired resistance to imipenem. Conclusion Antimicrobial resistance rates of clinically isolated CRAB in this area are high,OXA-23 and VIM-1 genes are the main carbapenemase genes,NDM-1 gene positive CRAB is detected, and there may be a clonal spread of NDM-1 gene in hospital,effective measures should be taken as soon as possible to prevent and control the spread of NDM-1 positive CRAB.

Background Corneal neovascularization (CNV) is one of the causes of corneal blindness.Studies showed that zonula occludens-1 (ZO-1) can inhibit pathological angiogenesis through physical barrier formed by tight junction structure.However,whether ZO-1 plays a role in CNV is unclear.Objective The aim of this study was to explore the effect of ZO-1,a tight junction protein on experimental CNV.Methods The CNV models were established in the left eyes of 24 clear male BALB/c mice aged 7-8 weeks by putting NaOH filter paper in the center of corneas for 15 seconds (15 s group) or 40 seconds (40 s group).CNV was examined and evaluated under the slit lamp microscope,and the expression of ZO-1 mRNA in the corneas were detected and compared by reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) between the two groups 2 weeks after modeling.In addition,54 models created by the same method were assigned to 3 groups according to randomized number table,0.2％ hyaluronic acid (HA),antiZO-1 neutralizing antibody (10 mg/L) +0.2％ HA and mouse hypoxia inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) recombinant protein (5 mg/L)+0.2％ HA were topically administrated in the mice three times a day for 1 week after modeling respectively.The corneas were extracted 2 weeks after application of the drugs.Expression of CD31 in the CNV was assayed to calculate the number and the area of CNV by immunohistochemistry.The expression of VEGF mRNA in the corneas was detected by RT-PCR.The percentages of macrophage-specific F4/80 positive cells and neutrophilsspecific Ly-6G positive cells were calculated to evaluate the infiltrations of inflammatory cells in the corneas by flow cytometry.Results In 2 weeks after alkali burn of corneas,the number of severe CNV was more in the 40 s group than that in the 15 s group (x2 =6.032,P=0.049),and the expression level of ZO-1 mRNA was lower in the 40 s group than that in the 15 s group (1.15±0.08 versus 1.53±0.04) (t=4.157,P=0.014).CD31 positive cell number was more and the staining area was larger in the ZO-1 antibody group and HIF-1α positive control group than those in the 0.2％ HA group (cells:t=-129.590,-226.820,both at P=0.000;area:t =-5.310,-8.840,both at P=0.000).The relative expressions level of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) mRNA was 1.33±0.10 and 1.46±0.11 in the ZO-1 antibody group and HIF-1 α positive control group respectively,which were significantly higher than 0.93±0.06 of the 0.2％ HA group (t =-5.820,-7.284,both at P =0.000).The percentages of positive cells in the ZO-1 antibody group and HIF-1α positive control group were significantly increased in comparison with the 0.2％ HA group for F4/80 (t =-16.750,-17.480,both at P =0.000) and for Ly-6G (t =-21.450,-27.680,both at P=0.000).Conclusions Alkali burn induced CNV downregulates the expression of ZO-1 mRNA.Administration of ZO-1 antibody causes the rise of VEGF mRNA in CNV and the infiltration inflammation cells,which suggests that the influence of ZO-1 on CNV is associated with the expression of VEGF.

Group-A rotaviruses are recognized as the most common cause of acute diarrhea. Phylogenetic analyses of the VP7 genes of rotaviruses circulating in Nanjing (China) could aid in the development of rotavirus vaccines. A total of 908 stool specimens were collected from patients suffering from acute diarrhea in Nanjing between October 2012 and December 2013, and were tested further for rotaviruses. Fifty rotavirus isolates selected randomly were typed by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction using serotype-specific primers for G genotyping. VP7 genes of 19 G9 strains were sequenced for further genetic characterization. Among the 908 stool specimens examined during the surveillance period, 103 (11.34%) were rotavirus-positive. G9 was the most predominant genotype (78.0%), followed by G2, G1 and G3. Sequence and phylogenetic analyses of the VP7 genes of serotype G9 rotaviruses revealed these strains to comprise two lineages (G9-VI, G9-III) and to be dominated by the G9-VI lineage (which belonged to a unique subcluster of Japanese and Chinese G9 strains). Amino-acid sequences of the four antigenic regions (A, B, C or F) were variant among a portion of strains, which may have contributed to the prevalence of G9 rotaviruses in this area.

Objective To investigate neurological function, volume of cerebral infarction, changes of lipid peroxidation, and the intervention effect of compound angelica injection (CAI) on rats with focal cerebral ischemia injury. Methods Models of rat with cerebral ischemia were reproduced by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). All animals were randomly divided into sham-operation group, model group, CAI group, and edaravone group. 1 hour after the models were established, rats in the sham-operation group and model group received intraperitoneal injection with normal saline, while rats in CAI group and edaravone group received intraperitoneal injection with relevant medicine for continuing 7 days. Volume of cerebral infarction was detected by Tetrazole staining method, neurologic function were detected by neuroethology, and concentration of MDA in brain tissue was also detected. Results After 7-day cerebral ischemia, compared with the model group, volume of cerebral infarction in CAI group was significantly reduced (P<0.05), and the concentration of MDA was a little lower. Conclusion CAI has significant protective effects which can significantly improve neurological function, reduce volume of cerebral infarction, and alleviate the effects of lipid peroxidation of rats with focal cerebral ischemia injury.

This paper presented a new method based on down-sampling for QRS complexes detection for the reason that ECG's frequency components mostly centralize 0.05-35 Hz. Firstly, the original ECG signals were down-sampled. Secondly, self adapting and self study theory were used to select the amplitude threshold and slope threshold for R-wave detection. At the same time, the refractory idiosyncrasy of heart was taken into account to reduce the misdetection. Thirdly, back-trace technique was used to reduce undetected error. Finally, the corresponding R-wave position was up-dated in the original ECG signals. The performance of the method was tested by MIT/BIH ECG database and the clinical data were collected from the affiliated hospital of Chongqing Medical University. The detection rate of 98% was achieved. Experimental results indicated that the method was simple, effective, accurate and unaffected on sample rate.

Objective:To investigate the dietary iodine intake of people in different areas of Qinghai Province, and to provide the basis for scientific iodine supplementation and continuous elimination of iodine deficiency hazards.Methods:From 2018 to 2019, according to administrative division, natural geographical regions, population distribution and economic development level of Qinghai Province, a total of 14 survey sites were selected. One village was selected from each survey site, and 20 households were selected from each village, the salt samples and 24 h urine samples of all family members were collected to detect salt iodine and urinary iodine. One drinking water sample was collected at the five directions of east, west, south, north and middle of each village to detect water iodine. Salt iodine was detected by direct titration, urinary iodine and water iodine were detected by arsenic-cerium catalytic spectrophotometry. At the same time, the 3-day weighing method was used to investigate the diet, the daily dietary iodine intake per capita (the result was expressed as average) and the proportion of dietary iodine in urinary iodine were calculated, the daily dietary iodine intake per capita of different production modes (agricultural region and pastoral region), different geographical environment (Hehuang Valley, Qaidam Basin, Qilian Mountain and Qingnan Plateau), different nationalities (Han, Tibetan, Hui, Mongolian, Tu, Salar) and different economic levels (< 8 000, 8 000 -, 10 000 -, ≥12 000 Yuan) were compared.Results:A total of 999 people from 280 families were surveyed, including 511 males and 488 females. The median water iodine of each survey site was less than 10 μg/L, all of which were environmentally iodine-deficient areas. A total of 280 salt samples were collected, the median salt iodine was 26.0 mg/kg, and the consumption rate of qualified iodized salt was 100% (280/280). A total of 999 urine samples were tested, and the median urinary iodine of people was 192.5 μg/L, which was at an appropriate level of iodine. There was no statistically significant difference ( t =-1.599, P > 0.05) in the daily dietary iodine intake per capita (28.53, 33.44 μg) of people in agricultural region ( n = 643) and pastoral region ( n = 356). The daily dietary iodine intake per capita (25.38, 33.30, 32.98, 34.79 μg) of people in Hehuang Valley ( n = 448), Qaidam Basin ( n = 125), Qilian Mountain ( n = 157), and Qingnan Plateau ( n = 269) were compared, the difference was statistically significant ( F = 2.883, P < 0.05); among them, the daily dietary iodine intake per capita in Hehuang Valley was lower than that in Qingnan Plateau ( P < 0.05). The daily dietary iodine intake per capita of different nationalities were compared, the difference was statistically significant ( F = 3.647, P < 0.05), Salar ( n = 68) and Tibetan ( n = 239) were higher (37.21 and 32.21 μg). The daily dietary iodine intake per capita (38.97, 17.01, 30.86, 33.14 μg) of annual per capita disposable income < 8 000 ( n = 194), 8 000-( n = 221), 10 000-( n = 302), ≥12 000 Yuan ( n = 282) were compared, the difference was statistically significant ( F = 9.407, P < 0.05). The proportions of dietary iodine in urinary iodine of various population ranged from 5.35% to 15.54%. Conclusions:The iodine nutrition of people in Qinghai Province is suitable, the dietary iodine intake of people is closely related to geographical environment, nationality and economic level. But the proportion of dietary iodine in urinary iodine is relatively low, the consumption of iodized salt is still the main way for people to intake iodine, and it is also the main measure to continuously eliminate the harm of iodine deficiency in Qinghai Province.

The lifting wavelet is used to decompose the original ECG signals and separate them into the approach signals with low frequency and the detail signals with high frequency, based on frequency characteristic. Parts of the detail signals are ignored according to the frequency characteristic. To avoid the distortion of QRS Complexes, the approach signals are filtered by an adaptive smooth filter with a proper threshold value. Through the inverse transform of the lifting wavelet, the reserved approach signals are reconstructed, and the three primary kinds of noise are limited effectively. In addition, the method is fast and there is no time delay between input and output.

Objective To investigate the histological features and prognostic factors of angioimmunoblastic T?cell lymphoma (AITL). Methods The pathological data of 62 patients with AITL with complete follow?up information were retrospectively collected and analyzed from Changhai Hospital during September 2012 and September 2017. Histological and immunohistochemical (IHC) examination, in situ hybridization (ISH), and single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) gene mutation analysis were done. Subgroup evaluation with histology, IHC, ISH, SNP gene mutation, and association with clinical progression were performed. Results The cohort included 62 cases of AITL, including 46 males and 16 females patients, with a median age of 64 years. Follicular dendritic cells (FDC) area showed significantly expansion (≥30%) in 40 cases; increased plasma cells (≥10%) was seen in 37 cases; B cells were distributed around blood vessels in 37 cases; and increased p53 mutation positive cells (≥40%) were seen in 39 cases; high Ki?67 index (≥40%) was seen in 39 cases; RHOA mutation was seen in 19 cases; TET2 mutation was seen in 9 cases. Overall survival analysis showed these factors were significantly correlated with tumor prognosis (P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that CD38 positive cells<10%, Ki?67≥40%, RHOA and TET2 mutations were risk factors associated with overall survival. Conclusions AITL could be divided into two different prognostic groups, low?grade and high?grade, with statistically significance outcome, based on the FDC area expansion, degree of plasma cell proliferation, B cells distribution pattern combined with gene mutations and clinical progression. Low?grade malignant group progresses slowly, and high?grade malignant group is highly invasive.
