1.Improving Effect of Total Flavone from Litchi chinensis on the Hepatocyte Injury in Liver Fibrosis Model Rats
China Pharmacy 2015;(22):3099-3102
OBJECTIVE:To study the improving effect of total flavone from Litchi chinensis (TFL) on the hepatocyte injury in rats with liver fibrosis. METHODS:The rats were given dimethylnitrosamine(DMN),ip,once a day in the first 3 d of every week, which lasted for 30 consecutive days to establish hepatocyte injury model. 60 rats were equally randomized into a normal control(isometric normal saline)group,a model(isometric normal saline)group and the groups of high and low-dose TFL(200 and 100 mg/kg). When the model was being established, drugs were administered,ig,once a day for 45 consecutive days except for normal control group. HE staining was performed, and then the rats’hepatocytes were observed under the microscope and path-ological stage (S1-S4) of liver tissue was analyzed. Masson staining and immunohistochemical staining were conducted, and then the rats’hepatocytes were observed under the microscope and calculation was made for the degree of liver fibrosis and the expres-sion of Bcl-2 and Bax. The activities of aspartate aminotransferase(AST)and alanine aminotransferase(ALT)in rats’serum were determined. RESULTS:The pathological stages of liver cell of rats in the model group were mainly stages S3 and S4 and the groups of high and low doses TFL were dominated by stages S1 and S2. Compared to the rats in the normal control group, those in the mod-el group had higher degree of liver fibrosis, expression of Bcl-2 and Bax and activities of AST and ALT in serum. Compared to the rats in the model group, those in the groups of high and low doses TFL had lower degree of liver fibrosis, higher expression of Bcl-2,lower expression of Bax,and lower activities of AST and ALT in serum. There were statistically significance (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:TFL can alleviate the hepatocyte injury in rats with liver fibrosis to some degree by a mechanism which may be related to the up-regulation the expression of Bcl-2 and the down-regulation of the expression of Bax.
2.Multidisciplinary approach in the management of diabetic retinopathy
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2017;33(3):224-229
Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is one of the microvascular complications of diabetes mellitus (DM).Like other macrovascular complications of DM,the development and progression of DR is influenced by a variety of systemic and local factors. It is essential to understand the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration.Systemic risk fators such as hyperglycemia, hypertension, dyslipidemia and diabetic nephropathy should be treated before effective DR management can be implemented.Through multidisciplinary collaboration,we can prevent the development of DR,slow the progression of DR,and improve the safety of perioperative care.Thereby enhancing the level of prevention and control of DM complications, including DR.

Objective To investigate the clinical manifestations, auxiliary examination, diagnosis and therapy of Aspergillus tracheobronchitis (ATB).Methods Clinical data of 4 ATB patients treated in Qingdao Municipal Hospital from June 2012 to September 2015 were analyzed retrospectively. The related literature was also reviewed. Results The main clinical manifestations were cough, sputum production, short of breath, fever and hemoptysis. All the four patients had predisposing factors. The ifndings of CT scan mainly included bronchial wall thickening, obstruction of bronchial lumen or no significant abnormality. Bronchoscopy showed mucosal erosion, necrosis, tracheal stenosis and obstruction of airway by pseudo-membrane. The diagnosis was confirmed by histopathology in all the four cases. They were treated with anti-Aspergillus therapy. The two patients with airway stenosis were treated with interventional therapy via bronchoscope. As for the outcome, one patient was improved after therapy. Another was cured. The remaining two patients died. Conclusions The clinical manifestations and chest imaging of ATB are nonspecific. Bronchoscopy is an important tool for diagnosis of ATB. Early diagnosis and proper anti-Aspergillus treatment are critical for improving prognosis.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of acupuncture for restoring consciousness and inducing resuscitation in promoting revival of coma for the patient of diffuse axonal injury(DAI). Methods 60 cases of DAI (GCS≤ 8) were randomly recurited into a control group and a treatment group. The control group was treated by routine treatment, while the treatment group was treated with acupuncture on the basis of routine treatment .The improving rate of consciousness at the two months of treatment was compared between the two group, and the prognosis was evaluated according to GOS scores. Results The revival rate in the treatment group was 86.7%, higher than that of 60.0% in the control group (P<0.05). The revival time in the treatment group was shorter than the control group (X2=5.45、 t= 8.051, P<0.05 ) .Conclusion The integrated therapy of acupuncture for restoring consciousness and inducing resuscitation and western medicine can promote the effect of coma revival and improve life condition for the patient of DAI.
