Objective To explore and summarize the heart-shape anastomosis for hirschsprung′s disease .Methods Before the operation, the colon was cleaned thoroughly ,31 cases of this group (8 month-6 years old)underwent colonic pull-through and the dilated segment of colon was pulled out and resected.Normal colon and lower segment of rectum′s stomosis were stomosed as heart-shape (higher anterior and lower posterior). After replacing the colon and stomosis ,close the abdomen layer by layer. Results All 31 cases anus sphincter muscle were retained at most degree,so that retained their function of normal defecation .All 31 cases were healed and discharged, without one case with early complications as stomosis fistila,et al.No stomosis stenosis or other late period complication were found in 24 cases with long period follow-up.Conclusions Heart-shape stomosis is a good method for hirschsprung′s disease, especially fitful to the common type and short-segment type and long-segment type with diseased part in sigmoid colon .This method is easy, convenient,no special equipment was needed, easy to be publicized.

Objective To detect the expression of BAT2L protein in developmental brain of rats. Methods Expression, distribution and location of BAT2L protein in developmental brain rats on embryonic day 18,postnatal days 1,7 and 15 and in adult at different time points were detected by Western blotting analysis, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence, respectively. Results Western blotting showed that the BAT2L protein expression level was higher in brain of rats on embryonic day 18,postnatal days 1 and 7 than on postnatal day 15 and in brain of adult rats.Immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence showed that the BAT2L protein was distributed and located in cell membrane and cytoplasm of neurons but not in nuclei and extra-cellular space.Positive neurons were widely distributed in cerebral and cerebellar cortex, hippocampus and cerebral ganglion. The morphology of neurons was significantly different in newborn and adult rats.Positive prominences and branches of certain neurons were found in brain tissues of newborn rats but hardly in those of adult rats. Conclusion BAT2L protein is specifically expressed in cell body, membrane and prominence of neurons in brain of rats.

Objective To explore the effects of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) five-tone therapy in combination with constitutional types of Chinese medicine based dietary intervention on patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Methods By convenience sampling, a study was conducted among 68 patients with IBS. The patients were divided into the control group and the intervention group by random digital table method, and each group consisted of 34 patients. Patients in two groups were both treated with conventional drug and routine nursing care, but patients in the intervention group were provided TCM five-tone therapy in combination with constitutional types of Chinese medicine based dietary intervention for 3 months. Patients in two groups were assessed by Chinese Medicine Constitution Questionnaire (CMCQ), Symptom Check List-90 (SCL-90), Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) before treatment and after 12-week treatment. Results After TCM five-tone therapy in combination with constitutional types of Chinese medicine based dietary intervention, the number of IBS patients with pathological constitution types decreased in two groups, the number of patients with gentleness constitution increased to 8 and 25 separately in the control group and intervention group (P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of SAS and SDS in the intervention group were (40.73±8.27)points and (41.16±8.75)points respectively, which were lower than(48.36±7.53)points and(50.03±9.23)points of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05). The intervention group scored lower than the control group in SCL-90, and the scores had significant differences between two groups (P<0.05). Conclusions TCM five-tone therapy in combination with constitutional types of Chinese medicine based dietary intervention may be more effective in adjusting pathological constitution to gentleness constitution of patients with IBS, alleviating their depression and anxiety and improving their physiological symptoms.

The drug-loading system of DMF (dextran - magnetic layered double hydroxide - fluorouracil) was synthesized by "co-precipitation intercalated assembly - dextran composite in situ - solvent conversion" technology. The crystal-phase characteristic and slow-release performance of DMF were investigated through X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectrum (IR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), thermogravimetry (TG) and in vitro release experiment. The targeted transshipment and slow-release effect of DMF system were evaluated by in vivo animal experiment. It was showed that the XRD of DMF matched with R-sixtetragonum type layered double hydroxide and Fd-3m cubic type ferrite. IR test demonstrated that the DMF system was a supra-molecular complex consisted of Dextran (DET), magnetic layered double hydroxide (MLDH) and fluorouracil (FU) components. The two-level supra-molecular MLDH-FU presented six-edge lozenge TEM morphology, with layered characteristics. DET on the surface of DMF was capable of protecting the layered structure of MLDH-FU, improving particle dispersion properties, and strengthening the slow-release performance of the drug delivery system. The drug release model of DMF at pH 7.35 of PBS in vitro fit to the zero-order kinetics equation C = 1.1716 x 10(-5) + 4.4626 x 10(-7) t. The drug delivery system DMF could transport drugs principally to in vivo target organs with a local effect, targeted specificity, and excellent circulation transshipment performance. The pharmacokinetic process of DMF presented multi-peak phenomenon with peak attenuation and cyclic growth. The peaks appeared at 0.25, 1, 3, 5 and 9 d separately after dosing intervention. The first peak process of DMF accorded with a pharmacokinetic equation of C(FU) = 14.34 e(-0.530t) + 36.04 e(-0.321t) + 24.18 e(-0.96t), and presented the characteristic of slow absorption and fast elimination. As for subsequent peak processes, half-life increased, bioavailability increased, and plasma clearance decreased. The highest peak value of DMF was 1/37 of original value of FU, and the relative bioavailability was 419% to original FU.
10.Effect of shugan liangxue compound for relieving hot flashes in breast cancer patients.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2009;29(1):30-33
OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of Shugan Liangxue Compound (SLC) for relieving hot flashes in breast cancer patients medicated with tamoxifen.
METHODSA randomized, double blind clinical trial for observing the therapeutic effects of SLC was carried out on 73 breast cancer patients hospitalized from October 2004 to November 2006, who were treated with tamoxifen, and revealed hot flashes. They were randomly assigned to two groups, the 37 in the treated group treated by SLC, and the 36 in the control group treated with placebo. Taking the improvement of hot flashes as an end point index and that of sleep as a secondary index, the effects of treatment were compared by Kupperman scoring with the average times of hot flashes per day and condition of sleep within 1 week before treatment as baseline.
RESULTSThe effects on 66 patients (33 in the treated group and 33 in the control group) were evaluable. In the treated group hot flashes disappeared in 5 patients (15.2%), relieved in 14 (42.4%) and unchanged in 14 (42.4%); while in the control group, it disappeared in none, relieved in 10 (30.3%) and unchanged in 23 (69.7%), comparison between groups showed significant difference (P = 0.012). As for the condition of sleep, it was improved in 21 (63.6%) and unchanged in 12 (36.4%) in the treated group; while the condition of sleep in the control group was improved in 13 (39.4%) and unchanged in 20 (60.6%), also with significant difference between the two groups (P = 0.002).
CONCLUSIONSLC is effective in alleviating tamoxifen-induced hot flashes and improving the condition of sleep.
