Objective To investigate the mechanisms of Pinacidil prec onditioning protection of hemorrhagic shock rats. Methods The rats were divided into 3 groups: a normal group ( n=10), a control group (n=40) and a preconditioning group (n=40). Pinacidil preconditio ning was processed 24 h before making the hemorrhagic shock model. The cPLA 2 expression in myocardium was observed at different time points with western blot; Pinacidil preconditioning was processed 24, 48 and 72 h before making th e hemorrhagic shock model to observe hsp70 expression in myocardium and liver tissue with western blot. Results Pinacidil preconditioning could increase hsp70 expres sion and decrease cPLA2 expression. Conclusions Pinacidil preconditioning protects "shock cell" by inducing hsp70 overexpression and inhibiting cPLA2 expression, which is re sponsible for protecting myocardial and liver tissues of the hemorrhagic shock rats.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical short-term efficacy and safety of brucea javanica oil injection combined with oxaliplatin and xeloda in the treatment of elderly patients with advanced gastric cancer. METHODS:82 elderly patients with ad-vanced gastric cancer were randomly divided into control group and observation group. Control group was treated with Oxaliplatin injection 130 mg/m2 added into 5% Glucose injection 250 ml for 2 h,iv,d1+Xeloda tablets 1 000 mg/m2,orally,twice a day, d1-14;based on the treatment of control group, observation group was additionally treated with 10% Brucea javanica oil injection 30 ml added into 0.9% Sodium chloride injection 250 ml,iv,once a day,d1-14. 21 days were as a treatment course, and it lasted 3 courses. The short-term efficacy, life quality and toxicity reactions were evaluated in 2 groups. RESULTS:The short-term efficacy in observation group was significantly higher than control group, life quality was significantly better than control group, and the in-cidences of leucopenia and liver damage were significantly lower than control group(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Brucea javanica oil injection combined with oxaliplatin and xeloda has better efficacy than oxaliplatin combined with xeloda in the treatment of elder-ly patients with advanced gastric cancer, with good safety.

OBJECTIVE To determine the sensitivity of Vibrio vulnificus to 23 kinds of antibacterial drugs, and offer the evidence for clinical V.vulnificus infections treatment.METHODS Isolated 11 strains of V.vulnificus from the patients blood and blisters of infected parts, using ATB automatic identification and susceptibility testing to measure the vitro drug sensitivity of the bacteria.RESULTS The susceptibility of the bacteria to the 22 kinds of commonly used antibiotics showed 100% sensitivity, the rate of ciprofloxacin sensitivity was 72%.CONCLUSIONS It is sensitive to commonly used semi-synthetic penicillin, cephalomycin, carbapenem, aminoglycosides, the third generation cephalosporins, fluoroquinolones and so on,all these above drugs may be chosen to treat the V.vulnificus infection.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2020;18(1):67-74
Objective: To determine the optimal manipulation parameters in Liu's back tuina therapy for remission-stage cough variant asthma (CVA) in kids. Methods: A 5-factor 3-level L18(37) orthogonal design was adopted. The experimental factors and levels were selected: A, the number of times of Rou-kneading Feishu (BL 13); B, the frequency of Rou-kneading Feishu (BL 13); C, the number of times of Tui-pushing in a '介'-like pattern; D, the frequency of Tui-pushing in a '介'-like pattern; E, the intensity of red color after Ca-scrubbing Feishu (BL 13) with salt. A1, A2 and A3 stood for 10 times, 20 times and 30 times, respectively; B1, B2 and B3 stood for 200 times/min, 240 times/min and 280 times/min, respectively; C1, C2 and C3 stood for 50 times, 75 times and 100 times, respectively; D1, D2 and D3 stood for 150 times/min, 175 times/min and 200 times/min, respectively; E1, E2 and E3 stood for pinkish, bright red and dark red, respectively. A total of 108 kids with CVA in remission stage were divided into 18 groups using the random number table method, with 6 cases in each group. Changes in the cough score and fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FENO) level were observed after 15-day treatment. Results: The cough score and FENO level changed significantly in every group after treatment (all P<0.01). By the effect in improving cough score, the factors were listed as D, B, A, C and E in descending order; the most optimal manipulation parameter combination was group 17 (A3B2C1D3E1); the second optimal parameter combinations were group 7 (A3B1C2D1E3), group 13 (A2B1C2D3E1) and group 14 (A2B2C3D1E2). Regarding the effect in down-regulating the level of FENO, the factors were listed as C, A, E, B and D in descending order; the most optimal manipulation parameter combination was group 13 (A2B1C2D3E1); the second optimal parameter combinations were group 18 (A3B3C2D1E2), group 16 (A3B1C3D2E3) and group 14 (A2B2C3D1E2).Conclusion: Two most effective manipulation parameter combinations were selected out of 18 different parameter combinations in Liu's back tuina therapy for remission-stage CVA in kids. Doctors can choose an appropriate manipulation based on the symptom features of the disease.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT)perfusion imaging in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods Twenty COPD patients and20 volunteers underwent 8-row detector spiral CT(MSCT)perfusion imaging using cine scan mode with5 mm slice thickness.0.5 s rotation time and a total scan time of 45 s with 5 s intervals.60 ml contrast agent(300 mg I/ml)were administered at a rate of 4 ml/s from the forearm superficial vein. The imaging data were transferred to a workstation.A time-density curve and pseudo-color map were generated automatically with GE CT perfusion 3 software, the blood flow(BF),blood volume(BV),mean transit time(MTr)and permeability surface(PS)were measured. Results Time-density curve was flatter and the peak of the curve was obviously lower in COPD patients than the volunteers. The BF.BV.PS in COPD volunteers was(10.58 ±4.85)s and(4.50 ±1.71)s respectively. The BF,BV and PS in COPD patients Was lower than the volunteers, the MTY was higher(P<0.01).Conclusion MSCT perfusion imaging is helpful for the diagnosis of COPD.
