1.Thinking of improving management of hospital medical periodicals
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2009;22(4):247-249
The management of hospital medical periodicals is now facing many realistic problems such as management system of editorial department, ability of editorial team, quality of articles and outside living environment. Co-publishing periodicals with pharmaceutical enterprises, with foreign publications and innovating publishing model of periodicals have been adopted by some domestic hospitals. By studying cases of periodical management innovation, and summing up the latest domestic point of view on medical periodical management, this paper held the view that the hospital medical periodicals management should be grouped into the framework of hospital scientific research management. Basically, the hospital should focus on solving the problem of management system in priority;developing in a way of specialization, collectivization and brand-orientation;establishing of a high-level editorial team;strengthening international communication and publishing periodicals according to international rules.
2.Analysis on problems in patent management in hospitals and countermeasures
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2010;23(3):174-176,200
Patent competition has become one of the key issues of global competitions in economy, science and technology. In hospitals, the patent management strategy provides guidance for and impels knowledge innovation. However, hospital management is quite weak in China, which may have been caused by various reasons, such as the over enthusiasm for published paper and the technological achievement contrasted with negligence in patent application and exploitation. In the paper, countermeasures are proposed, which include the whole process management during the scientific research, setting up detail targets and standard procedures for patent management, training patent management staff, et al.

24 days in mm, V1:the degree of expansion in ml) had linear correlation, E1=(0.86V1?0.60) mm. Conclusion The results of the study demonstrate that CT is an accurate and reliable imaging technique in the evaluation of the degree of expansion of the injured orbit and in the prediction of the possibility of the consequent enophthalmos and its degree. It is significantly helpful to the therapeutic planning for the quantity the retroglobal filling in the rectification of the enophthalmos.

Journal of Kunming Medical University 2013;(8):144-146
Objective To investigate the incidence of xerostomia in patients with acquired immune deficiency syndromes (AIDS), clarify the association between AIDS and xerostomia to promote AIDS patients' oral health. Method The oral health conditions of 200 hospitalized AIDS patients were investigated by a self-designed evaluation form. Results Among 200 patients, xerostomia occurred in 113 (56.6%) . Among the xerostomia patients, 32.7% were without brushing habits, 63.7% with long-term medication and 43.1% (31 cases) with mainly antibiotics, antivirals and antifungal drugs. 30 (31.9%) patients with xerostomia were mainly associated with symptoms of oral burning, lips dry and scaly, periodontitis, oral mucosal dryness and tooth loss. Conclusions AIDS could increase the incidence of xerostomia. Some effective measures should be taken to promote patients' oral health, including improving AIDS patients' awareness of oral health, close observation of adverse reactions after treatment, looking for related causes, timely and targeted therapies, early detection and treatment of associated symptoms.

OBJECTIVE To control the nosocomial infection in the whole process of blood collecting on a blood collecting vehicle.METHODS To supervise the technological sanitation of blood collecting environment, increase primary assay of ALT,using laser beam apparatus instead of needle puncture, select the dynamic disinfection cleaning machine instead of classical tri-oxygen or ultraviolet lamp disinfection, and standardize blood collecting procedure and environmental disinfection.RESULTS After 110 thousand times a year of blood collecting on the blood collecting vehicle in Wuhan there were no one nosocomial infection happened.CONCLUSIONS The nosocomial infection in the whole process of blood collecting on a blood collecting vehicle can be prevented by the quality control of environmental condition and improvement of assay installation.
9.Improving clinical scientific research by combining research with clinical practice

Clinical work is the core of a hospital. The level of the clinical work and scientific research are the major indexes for the evaluation of a hospital or a clinician. However, there seems contradiction between the clinical work and scientific research. For hospital administration and clinicians, it is important to adopt clinical work as the center, and conduct research around the clinical practice, which will facilitate the transition from the scientific research to clinical application. Eventually the clinical work will improve and medical science will develop.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 2003;0(06):-
Objective To elucidate the clinical manifestati on s and electrocardiogram characteristics of congenital long QT syndrome families and try to find out the genotype of the long QT syndrome(LQTS) patients. Methods The routine clinical check up and ECG recordings we re done for the 3 family members. Both QT interval and QTc were measured. Diagno stic criteria for LQTS were defined by Schwartz. Results Fifteen family members were identified as with LQTS and 11 members with intermediate probability to LQTS. The clinical manifestatio ns and ECG characteristics were different from each other. Conclusion The clinical manifestations and ECG characterist ics of LQTS patients from family 1,family 2 and family 3 correspond with LQT2, L QT1 and LQT3, which is caused by HERG,KVLQT1 and SCN5A gene mutation.
