Aspheric intraocular lenses(IOLs)have been shown to provide better quality of vision than spherical IOLs.However,these lenses are not ideal for all patients.Surgeons may have different strategies for compensating for the patients's cornea spherical aberration,targeting a postoperative spherical aberration of zero or +0.10 ?m.But we must know that the negative spherical aberration aspheric IOLs require very good centration with respect to the visual axis of the eye.

Ovbective To study the protective effects of 17?-estradiol on isolated ischemic rat hearts in a modified Langendorff model. Methods Thirty rats performed bilateral ovariectomies were divided equally into three groups at random. A three-phase protocol was performed: (1) 15-minutes preperfusion,(2) 30-minutes global ischemia,(3) 30-minutes reperfusion. Treatment with 0.1% DMSO (group D) and 5 ?mol/L 17?-estradiol+0.1% DMSO (group E) dissolved in K-H buffer was perfused from sixth minutes of reperfusion. Only K-H was perfused in the ischemia-reperfusion group (group I-R). The left ventricular pressure (LVP) and it's first derivative (?dp/dt max ) and coronary flow (CF) were recorded at the 15th minute of preperfusion and the 30th minute of reperfusion. Creatin phosphokinase (CPK) and lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) the coronary effluent,the content of malonaldehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity of myocardium were measured at the 30th minute of reperfusion. Results After 30-minute reperfusion,restoration of heart function of group E treated with 17?-estradiol were better than that of group I-R and group D,with a higher coronary flow,and a lower CPK and LDH level (P

OBJECTIVE:To determine Sarsasapogenin in Jujube seed concentrated pills by RP-HPLC-ELSD.METHODS:Separation of Sarsasapogenin was performed on Zorbax C18 column with methanol-water (90:10)as a mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0mL?min-1.The temperature of the drift tube was 85℃and the air flow-rate was at 1.71mL?min-1.RESULTS:The linear range of Sarsasapogenin was 0.112 7～0.676 2mg?mL-1(r=0.998 3).The average recovery was 99.83%(RSD=0.93%).CONCLUSION:The method is simple,accurate and reproducible,and suitable for the quality control of Jujube seed concentrated pills.

AIM: To optimize the extraction process of Myrrha by SFE-CO 2. METHODS: Orthogonal design was applied and GC was used to determine the contents of ?-Elemene in order to optimize the process. RESULTS: The optimized conditions were as follows: pressure 25 MPa, temperature 45 ?C and extraction time 4 h. CONCLUSION: The method of SFE-CO 2 is rapid, convenient in comparison with conventional methods.

Objective To study the role of survivin in the incidence of pulmonary hypertension secondary to congenital heart disease (CHD) of left-to-right shunt. Methods Forty-nine cases were divided into 4 groups according to mean pulmonary artery pressure (mPAP), that is, non-hypertension group, mild hypertension group, medium hypertension group, and severe hypertension group. Their lung tissue samples were collected during heart surgery. TUNEL technique and immunohistochemical analysis were respectively used to detect nuclear DNA fragment of apoptotic cells and the expression of survivin, bcl-2 and bax. Western blotting also was conducted to detect survivin expression. Results The pulmonary wall of CHD patients with medium or severe pulmonary hypertension became significant incrassate. The apoptotic index and expression level of bax were significantly decreased but surviving and bcl-2 expressions were significantly increased in CHD with medium or severe pulmonary hypertension. Survivin expression was significant correlation with percentage media wall thickness and apoptotic index. Conclusion Apoptosis associated with survivin plays an important role in pulmonary artery remodeling after pulmonary hypertension of CHD.

OBJECTIVE We designed the overall layout,formulated the functional demand,and optimized the key design and operating parameters of a new-style asepsis clean ward.The new-style ward intends to provide a higher quality environment for patient infection control and all-around protection during treatment.METHODS We applied computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation to optimize the design scheme according to Chinese and international hospital design specifications.RESULTS The new-style asepsis ward reflected a new idea,new technology,high standards and created a comfortable and safe,high-quality environment for the treatment of patient.The Satisfaction of patients was more than 95% and workload of nurses was alleviated obviously.CONCLUSIONS The new-style asepsis ward can significantly control the endogenous infection of patients.

OBJECTIVE To compare the computational fluid dynamics(CFD) simulated results and field test data of the new-style asepsis ward.METHODS We used various equipments to test the asepsis ward and CFD software to simulate airflow of asepsis ward.RESULTS After calculating and comparing,we found the CFD simulation results agreed well with the tested data.Key design and operating parameters were up to the standard.The new-style of asepsis ward could improve the air quality and provide a comfortable environment for patient treatment and it was of great help to decrease the infection rate of patient.CONCLUSIONS The new-style asepsis ward can significantly control the endogenous infection of patients.

Objectives: To explore related factors of sociodemographic characteristics and family dynamics of different self-esteem groups of junior middle school students. Methods: A total of 1059 junior middle school students were recruited. The Self-designed sociodemographic characteristic questionnaire, the Self-Esteem Scale and the Selfrating scale of systemic family dynamic were applied. According to SES scores, the high self-esteem group, the middle group and the low group were constructed. The differences of sociodemographic characteristics and systemic family dynamics were compared between these groups by χ2-test and ANCOVA. Ordinal logistic regression was conducted to determine the relation between self-esteem and sociodemographic characteristics and family dynamic factors. Results:The higher self-esteem group had the better of parental education attainment, family life quality, parent relationship, and the more subjects born in Shanghai (Ps ＜ 0. 05). After controlling the above sociodemographic characteristics, family atmosphere scores and individuality scores in the high self-esteem group were the lowest and these in the low group were highest (Ps ＜ 0. 05). Not being born in Shanghai (OR = 1. 57, 95％ CI: 1. 15-2. 14) was a risk factor for low self-esteem, while the lower scores of family atmosphere (OR = 0. 48, 95％ CI: 0. 36-0. 65) and the lower scores of individuality (OR = 0. 66, 95％ CI: 0. 52-0. 83) were protective factors for low self-esteem. Conclusion:It suggests that there are significant different sociodemographic characteristics and family dynamic factors among different self-esteem junior middle school students. Self-esteem may be related to whether being born natively, family atmosphere, and individuality in junior middle school students.
