Objective To systematically review the correlation between polymorphisms of CYP2D6 genotypes and concentrations of tamoxifen and its activity in Chinese breast cancer patients.Methods Such databases as Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMBase, CNKI, CBM, WeipuData and WanfangDate,from January 1995 to October 2014 were searched on line for the studies about the correlation between polymorphisms of CYP2D6 genotypes concentrations of tamoxifen and its activity in Chinese breast cancer patients.And references about it were checked.The meta-analysis was performed with RevMan 5.3 software.Results A total of 4 articles involving 438 patients were included.The results of meta-analysis showed that,the concentrations of HTAM and endoxifen in patients who had CYP2D6*10/*10 genotypes were lower than the other genotypes ( P<0.0001 ) .The concentration of tamoxifen in patients who had CYP2D6*10/*10 genotypes was lower than CYP2D6Wt/Wt ( P<0.05 ) .There was no significant difference between CYP2D6Wt/Wt and CYP2D6Wt/*10.Conclusion We concluded that CYP2D6 polymorphisms may influence concentrations of tamoxifen and its activity in Chinese breast cancer patients.

Objective To explore the role of oxygen free radicals in the proliferation of ECV304 induced by AngⅡ.Methods The lines of human umbilical vein endothelial cell(ECV304)cultured in vivo were divided into three groups which were treated by AngⅡ,AngⅡ+N-acetyl-L-cysteine(NAC),and normal culture medium.First we observed the proliferous effect of ECV304 induced by AngⅡat different concentration with improved MTT and microscope.Then the contents of oxygen free radicals(?OH)in three groups were detected by spectrophotometer.Results ECV304 incubated with AngⅡ(0.03125～1?mol/L)for 12 hours increased the proliferation rate(P 0.05 vs.control group).Conclusions ECV304 induced by AngⅡcan produce oxygen free radicals(?OH),and the contents of oxygen free radicals(?OH) increase with the prolongation of time and the enlargement of dose;Antioxidant NAC can inhibit the proliferation of ECV304 induced by AngⅡ,this effect may be related with reducing the content of oxygen free radicals(?OH);oxygen free radicals(?OH)may be one of the major mocleculars which play an important role in the signal transduction of ECV304 proliferation.

AlM:To observe clinical effects between the laser in situ keratomileusis ( LASlK ) surgery and the laser subepithelial keratomileusis ( LASEK ) surgery as the second operation after an unsuccessful LASlK surgery.METHODS:Forty-nine patients (98 eyes) with refractive regression after LASlK operation received the second surgery. All patients were divided into two groups:group A and B. Group A (48 eyes of 24 patients) received LASlK surgery and group B ( 50 eyes of 25 patients ) received LASEK surgery. lnspect the main parameters included visual acuity, refraction, corneal curvature, and the total value of high-aberration after 1wk, 1mo and 1a, t-test of groups was used as statistical analysis method.RESULTS: There was statistically significant (P<0. 05) between the two groups in visual acuity after 1wk. There was no statistically significant between the two groups in visual acuity after 1mo, and there was also no statistically significant between the two groups in visual acuity, average spherical equivalent refractive degree, average corneal curvature, and the total value of high-aberration after one year (P>0. 05). There developed one case of epithelium in growth after LASlK surgery, and one case of haze Ⅱ after LASEK surgery.CONCLUSlON: Both LASlK and LASEK surgery can obtain satisfactory therapeutic results after an unsuccessful LASlK surgery.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the method and efficacy of occlusion with medicinal albumin gel for esophageal fistula. METHODS:Over the recent 5 years,a total of 11 patients with esophagus -respiratory fistula or esophagus-neck fistula confirmed by iodine imaging and / or gastroscopy were occluded with medicinal albumin gel under endoscope. RESULTS:The occlusion with medicinal albumin gel for esophageal fistula was successful in all the 11 cases,and 9 out of 11 were completely healed after one time occlusion treatment and the other 2 cases were completely healed after the second occlusion treatment. The average hospital stay was 27 days and the average cost was 24,500 yuan. There was no recurrence after follow-up of 3 to 6 months,nor was there any adverse complication. CONCLUSION:Compared to the conventional conservative treatment,occlusion with medicinal albumin gel for esophageal fistula under endoscope can reduce the length of hospital stay and the cost of hospitalization.

? AlM: To analyze the reason of corneal epithelial implantation and ingrowth after laser in situ keratomileusis ( LASlK ) , and summarize the treatment experiences.
?METHODS: The clinical data of postoperative corneal epithelial ingrowth on 18 cases (30 eyes) from 1 256 cases (2 256 eyes) after LASlK were retrospectively analyzed in our hospital from January 2008 to December 2012. After the treatment of all eyes, patients’ general visual quality scores before and after treatment were analyzed.
?RESULTS:There were 18 cases ( 30 eyes ) with corneal epithelial implantation and ingrowth after LASlK, and the incidence rate was 1. 3%. ln the 18 cases (30 eyes), there were 12 eyes corneal flap epithelial ingrowth caused by postoperative trauma, 12 eyes caused by multiple corneal flap flush, 2 eyes caused by intraoperative irregular corneal flap, and nothing special for 4 eyes. The classification of corneal epithelial ingrowth of 30 eyes:grade I, 11 cases (18 eyes);gradeII, 4 cases (8 eyes);grade Ⅲ, 3 cases ( 4 eyes ) . Grade I-II were treated with TobraDex eye drops and intraocular pressure lowering drug. Grade Ⅲ firstly were treated by drugs, otherwise by surgery if it didn’t improve. After treatment, 8 cases (13 eyes) epithelial ingrowth disappeared from 11 cases ( 18 eyes ) , 3 cases ( 5 eyes ) implanted epithelial tumor shrank in grade l;epithelial implantation of 2 cases (4 eyes) in grade II disappeared, implantation degree of 2 cases (4 eyes) reduced to grade I;2 cases (2 eyes) in grade Ⅲ had 0. 5 ~ 1mm wide flap edge shallow gray ribbon 1 mm inside the limbus, visual acuity was 0. 8 ~1. 2, 1 case ( 2 eyes ) treated with curettage corneal epithelial implantation and endophytic epithelium hadn’t relapsed in the follow-up. After the treatment, 18 cases of corneal epithelial ingrowth got lower visual quality scores than those before therapy (Hc=10. 511, P<0. 01).
?CONCLUSlON: Operation standardized, postoperative early detection and aggressive treatment are important for prevention and treatment of complications after LASlK.

To survey the serum uric acid (SUA) levels and associated risk factors of hyperuricemia among youth and middle-aged residents in Guangzhou.A total of 1420 subjects,aged from 20 to 60 years,receiving health check-up at our hospital in 2010 were enrolled.The total prevalence of hyperuricemia was 22.04％,32.01％ in males and 14.07％ in females.The average SUA was (388 ±78) μmol/L in males and (288 ± 63) μ mol/L in females.The prevalence of hyperuricemia in males was 30.11％ before 40 years of age and 33.81％ between 40 and 60 years of age.The average level of SUA in males was significantly higher than that of females.logistic regression analysis showed that BUN,body mass index (BMI) and hypertriglyceridemia were the independent risk factors of disease while HDL-C and gender (females) the protective factors.

Objective To evaluate clinical efficacy of retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy in patients with adrenal disease.Methods 21 cases of adrenal disease undergoing retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy from Jun.2006 to Oct.2010 were retrospectively reviewed.Results All operations were performed successfully except 2 cases were converted to open surgery due to peritoneal rupture,which resulted in difficult exposure of retroperitoneal cavity.The operation time ranged from 55 to 300 minutes,with 90 minutes as the medium.Blood loss volume ranged from 10 to 100 ml during operation (30 ml as the medium ).No blood transfusion was given.No complication such as massive hemorrhage,infection,abdominal visceral injury etc.occurred.19 patients were treated successfully and followed up from 3 to 55 months with 12.3 months as the medium.No tumor recurrence and metastasis was found in the 19 cases.Conclusion Retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy has advantages of high safety,less complications and satisfactory efficacy in patients with adrenal diseases.

Background and purpose: Short tandem repeats (STR) multiplex PCR fluorescence detection technology is the most widely used DNA technology in individual identity and genetic identification. It's the most direct method to obtain accurate conclusions. However, some studies have indicated that the rate of STR mutations in tumor tissue is significantly higher than that in normal tissues or blood. This study aimed to investigate the tendency of genetic instability in 20 STR loci on autosomal and Amel loci in tumor tissue samples from lung cancer. Methods: This study, collected 75 cases of human lung cancer tissues and the adjacent normal tissues. DNA samples were extracted by tissue DNA extraction kit, amplified using MicroreaderTM 21 Direct ID System PCR amplification kit. Capillary electrophoresis was performed using API 3130 analyzer, and results were analyzed by genetic analysis software (Gene Mapper ID V3.2). Results: STR alterations were detected in 24 specimens from 75 lung cancer tissues (32%). Fifty-five alterations were detected in the frequently used 21 STR loci in total, including additional alleles 10 times, loss of heterozygosity 10 times, partial loss of heterozygosity 35 times. Partial loss of heterozygosity was the most common genetic alteration types accounting for 63.64% of the total alteration frequency. And multiple genetic alteration types could occur in the same lung cancer tissue. Among them, the highest alteration frequency occurred on D5S818 (7 times), secondly on D3S1358 and D12S391 (both 5 times), and no alterations on D2S441 and Penta E. Combining the experimental results and analysis on clinical data, this study found the statistical differences between the staging of lung cancer and the age of the patients with the STR loci alterations (P<0.05). However, the alterations did have much relationship with the classification of lung cancer and the patient's gender (P>0.05). Conclusion: STR loci of the lung cancer tissue were not stable, and the alteration occurred in the aged or high malignant degree lung cancer tissue more frequently. Meanwhile, no alteration was detected on D2S441 and Penta E. In the future research the two STR loci should be verified to determine whether they can be used as the stable STR loci in such cases by increasing the sample size.

ObjectiveTo report the results of preventive control program of severe thalassemias in Zhuhai City of Guangdong Province from 1998 to 2010.MethodsAs the guide centre of marriage and childbearing and the greatest maternity hospital in Zhuhai City of Guangdong Province,Zhuhai Municipal Maternity and Child Healthcare Hospital constructed the genetic screening network for thalassemias testing and referred for follow-up and for genetic counseling.The couples for premarital medical examination or regular healthcare examination in pregnancy were enrolled to this preventive control program.A conventional strategy of screening for heterozygote was used to identify the α- and β-thalassemia traits in women and their spouses according to the standard procedures of hematological phenotype analysis which was recommended by Thalassemia International Federation (T IF).Then those suspected couples at risk were diagnosed for α- and β-thalassemia by PCR-based DNA assays.The couples at risk for severe thalassemias were counseled and offered prenatal diagnosis and termination of pregnancy in case of an affected fetus in the rights of consent and of option voluntarily.ResultsFrom January 1998 to December 2010,85 522 brides and grooms-to-be for premarital screening and 41 503 pregnant women in addition to 14 141 partners for prenatal screening were recorded,the covering rates of premarital screening and prenatal screening in the city were 92.698％ (from 1998 to 2003) and 27.667％ (from 2004 to 2010),respectively.Totally 10 726 cases were found to be the carriers of thalassemias,with 7393 for o-thalassemia (5.237％,7 393/141 166) and 3333 for β-thalassemia (2.361％,3 333/141 166).A total of 257 couples at-risk for severe thalassemias were detected including 190 for α-thalassemia and 67 for β-thalassemia.Among them,251 (97.7％,251/257) couples were performed prenatal diagnosis.During the preventive control program,a total of 72 fetuses with severe thalassemias including hemoglobin H disease were voluntarily terminated.In Zhuhai City,the average annual birth rate of fetuses with severe thalassemia was declined by 32.9％ (49/149).ConclusionsThis study has reduced effectively birth rate of perinatal infants with severe thalassemias in Zhuhai City by genetic screening and prenatal diagnosis of thalassemia in the large population of 13 years.Our summary comes out of technical proposals for prenatal screening and diagnosis,which could be take example by preventative control of thalassemia in other regions of China where are prevalent.
