Radiotherapy is an important means for curing nasopharyngeal carcinoma at present.Howev-er,how to handle the focus residual,relapse and metastasis after the radiotherapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma is still a hot potato.125 I seed implantation is regarded as a member of the comprehensive therapies.Its feasibili-ty for curing such cancer has already been confirmed in the experimental research of the cytology and zoology, and it has been applied in the focus residual,relapse and metastasis after the radiotherapy.Furthermore,its clinical therapy effect has been acknowledged.

Although radiotherapy is still the preferred treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and the curative effect is satisfactory at present,but it is hard to avoid the recurrence in a part of patients after active treatment.The therapies for patients with recurrence have certein difficulty.In recent years,the salvage treatments such as modern radiotherapy,chemotherapy and surgery for the patients with recurrence are used and the clinical effects are accepted.

Objective To study the potential role of interleukin-23(IL-23)in induction of peripheral blood natural killer(NK)cell activation and cytotoxicity in patients with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD),and to investigate its clinical relevance to the pathogenesis.Methods Peripheral blood was collected from 12 healthy subjects,16 patients with Crohn's disease(CD)and 25 patients with ulcerative colitis(UC).NK cells isolated from peripheral blood using immunomagnetie beads were cultured in vitro and stimulated with IL-23 or IgG,or combination of two.Concentrations of tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α)and interferon-γ(IFN-γ)were determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.NK eytotoxicity to K562 cell was detected by flow cytometry.Results The levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ were not increased in healthy controls under stimulation with IgG or IL-23 (P＞0.05),but they were elevated under stimulation with IgG plus IL-23(P＜0.05).IL-23,not IgG,was found tO enhance TNF-α and IFN-γ secretion in IBD patients(P＜0.05).The levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ were significantly increased in IBD patients under the stimulation of IL-23 plus lgG (P＜0.01).The cytotoxicity of NK cells in healthy controls was not observed under stimulation with IL-23 alone or IL-23 plus IgG,whereas it could be enhanced by stimulation with IL-23 in CD patients (62.4%±5.5%)and UC patients(65.3%±6.6%,P＜0.05)or with IL-23 plus IgG in CD patients (50.2%±8.7%)and UC patients(51.5%±7.1%,P＜0.01).ConclusionIL-23 plays an important role in induction of NK cell activation and cytotoxicity in IBD patients,and may be involved in development of IBD.

To investigate the clinical effect of tonifying the kidney and promoting blood circulation to promote oocyte decoction in the treatment of anovulatory infertility caused by polycystic ovary syndrome. Sixty cases were selected from the out-patient department of Xiyuan hospital of China academy of Chinese medical sciences and the Chinese academy of traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine out-patient department. Sixty patients with PCOS patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, with 30 cases and 30 cases respectively. The treatment group was given decoction of the reinforcing kidney, activating blood circulation and ovarian stimulation compound recipe. The control group was treated with clomiphene. Through the treatment of 1-2 courses, in the treatment group the pregnancy rate was 56.67%, the ovulation rate 61%; in control group of clomiphene citrate ovulation ratepregnancy rate was 30% , 72.84% of ovulation rate. The difference was significant between two groups (P < 0.05), the pregnancy rate in the treatment group was higher than the control group. The treatment group has regulatory effect on FSH, LH and their ratio, and increase E2 level, decrease T, PRL, INS and other hormone levels, contributing to the mature development of the follicles and endometrium growth, increase the ovulation rate and pregnancy rate. The control group on FSH, E2 increased, LH, T, PRL and INS showed no obvious effect.

Objective To study the effect of Mushao composition on ?-EP and CCK-8 in the caudex dorsalis of rats with pain after fracture operation,and explore its mechanism.Methods The male Wistar rats were randomly divided into control group,model group,Mashao composition group and tramadol group.The Brennan model was adopted.The level of the ?-EP and CCK-8 were determined by the method of radioimmunity.Results Compared with model group,Mushao composition could increase level of ?-EP in the caudex dorsalis,while decrease level of CCK-8.Conclusion Mushao composition could increase the content of ?-EP and reduce the content of CCK-8,so to analgesia in rats model of pain after fracture operation.
