A sumple and sensutuve headspace gas chromatographuc method was developed and valudated for sumultaneous determunatuon of methanol, ethanol, duchloromethane, ethyl acetate, 1,4-duoxane and pyrudune un topuroxostat. Under the condutuons of optumuzatuon of statuonary phase, heatung temperature and equulubratuon tume, the separatuon was achueved on a Rtx-200 column ( 30 m × 0. 25 mm × 1 μm ) fulled wuth polytrufluoropropyl ( methyl ) suloxane by a flame uonuzatuon detector. The developed gas chromatographuc method offered symmetruc peak shape, and good resolutuon for all the 6 solvents. The good lunearuty was obtauned for all the analytes wuth the correlatuon coeffucuents ( R2 ) greater than 0. 998. The lumuts of quantufucatuon were 0. 006% for methanol, 0. 005% for ethanol, 0. 012% for duchloromethane, 0. 0025% for ethyl acetate, 0. 0076% for 1,4-duoxane and 0. 004% for pyrudune, respectuvely. The recoverues for 6 resudual solvents at three spuked levels were un the range of 92 . 3%-100 . 3% wuth relatuve standard devuatuons of 0. 32%-3. 6%. The real sample analyses showed that thus method was sumple, fast and feasuble for the sumultaneous determunatuon of 6 resudual solvents un topuroxostat.

Objective To summarize the first 16 eases in mainland China and to discuss the cli-nical experience of robot-assisted laparoseopie radical prostateetomy(RLRP). Methods Sixteen pa-tients with localized prostate carcinoma underwent RLRP with da Vinci S surgical system (Intuitive Surgical Inc.). The age of the patients was 62-76 years, average 69 years. The preoperative t-PSA level was 0.2-79. 2. Ng/ml. The volume of prostate was 9.8-232.9 ml. Fifteen patients were with biopsy-proven prostate cancer, the average Gleason score was 7(4-9). Three were T2a. N0 M0, 4 were T2b N0 M0 and 8 were T2c N0/M0 by clinical stage. One was prostatic intraepithelial neoplasm-Ⅲ. The level of t-PSA in serum and the result of urinary continence were followed up after RLRP. Results All the operations were accomplished successfully. The mean preoperative set-up time of the da Vinci surgical system was 64(60--90)min;the mean operation time was 236(190--390)rain;the mean esti-mated blood loss was 231(50-500)m.L The patients were ambulant between the 2nd and 3rd postop-erative days. Foley catheter was sueeeasfully removed on day 10 to 14, and mean hospital stay was 13 (6-19) days. Two eases had positive surgical margins, the pathological stages were both pT3b N0 M0. The average serum t-PSA was less than 0. 1 ng/ml during a median follow-up of 9(6-12) months. By the conventional definition of urinary continence (0 to 1 pads daily), 94%(15/16) and 100% (16/16)of patients were continent at 3 and 6 months, respectively. Of the patients, 75% (12/16)and 88% (14/16)had no urinary leakage(0 pads daily). Conclusions RLRP is small incision and safe. It is the direction of minimally invasive urologic surgery.

BACKGROUNDThe sensitization and elicitation phases are involved in the immunopathogenesis of contact hypersensitivity (CHS). Langerhans cells (LCs) are believed to play pivotal roles in the sensitization stage of CHS. Local hyperthermia on skin induces the migration as well as maturation of epidermal LCs. Although fever-range whole body hyperthermia and local hyperthermia at 43°C prior to sensitization were reported to suppress CHS, the effects of different temperatures and the timing sequence of local hyperthermia on CHS have not been tackled.
METHODSLocal hyperthermia was applied to murine dorsal skin 3 days prior to, concurrent with, or 2 days post sensitization with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) in BALB/c mice. Local hyperthermia temperatures at 37°C, 39°C, 41°C and 43°C were applied to mouse dorsal skin and the severity of CHS was calculated by measuring the swelling response of the challenged ears.
RESULTSLocal hyperthermia at 39°C, 41°C and 43°C prior to sensitization reduced the severity of CHS, as compared with that at 37°C. The suppression of CHS was temperature dependent in that higher temperature had a stronger effect. On the contrary, the hyperthermia treatments, either concurrent with or post-sensitization, resulted in an enhanced temperature-dependent ear swelling response.
CONCLUSIONSThe severity of murine CHS could be influenced by local hyperthermia at the sensitization stage in a temperature dependent manner. The temporal effect of local hyperthermia suggested a novel factor in interpreting the severity of allergic contact dermatitis.
