Objective · To explore the inhibitive effect of silencing the CD147 gene on the proliferation of triple negative breast cancer cells and relevant mechanisms. Methods · Normal human mammary epithelial cell line HMEC and three triple negative breast cancer cell lines MDA-MB-231, HCC70 and T4-2 were cultured in vitro. mRNA and protein expressions in cells were measured using realtime-PCR and Western blotting, respectively. A siRNA sequence targeting the coding region of human CD147 gene was designed and used to construct a recombinant lentivirus Lv-shRNA-CD147, which was used to infect the three breast cancer cell lines. The negative control group (Lv-NC infected group) and the noninfected cell control group (cell control group) were simultaneously used. The effects of silencing the CD147 gene were measured with real-time PCR and Western blotting. The proliferation and migration of cells were measured with MTT and Transwell assay, respectively. HCC70 cells were collected 72 h after viral infection and proteins related to proliferation, migration and apoptosis of cells (β-catenin, MMP2, MMP9, and Bax) were measured with Western blotting. Results · mRNA and protein expressions of CD147 were significantly higher in three breast cancer cell lines than in HMEC (P<0.01). The Lv-shRNA-CD147 infected group had lower mRNA and protein expressions of CD147, cell proliferation, and cell migration as compared with the Lv-NC infected group and the cell control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.01). The Lv-shRNA-CD147 infected group had lower expressions of β-catenin, MMP2, and MMP9, and higher Bax expression in HCC70 cells 72h after viral infection as compared with the Lv-NC infected group and the cell control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.01). Conclusion · Silencing the CD147 gene can inhibit the proliferation and migration of triple negative breast cancer cells.

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of community-based rehabilitation (CBR) on older stroke patients in ability of activities of daily living (ADL).Methods50 older stroke patients were randomly divided into the rehabilitation group and control group. The rehabilitation group was treated with motor function exercise and ADL training, while the control group only took medicine. Two groups were evaluated with Barthel index before and after treatment. ResultsScores of Barthel index on the rehabilitation group were higher than that on the control group after treatment, and there was a significantly difference between two groups (P<0.01). Conclusions CBR has the significant effect on improving ADL in older stroke patients.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and the side effects of whole body hyperthermia(WBH) combined with chemotherapy for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Methods 24 patients were included in trial group(16 male and 8 female), 15 patients in Ⅲb stage and 9 patients in Ⅳ stage.6 patients had received chemotherapy before, received 1 course of WBH combined with Docetaxel; 18 cases were previously untreated, received 1 course of WBH combined with Paclitaxel and Carboplatin, then another course chemotherapy in the same time period. 26 patients were included in control group (17 male and 9 female), 16 patients in Ⅲb stage and 10 patients in Ⅳ stage. 6 patients had received chemotherapy before, were treated with Docetaxel at least 2 courses with 3 weeks interval. 20 cases, previously untreated, were treated with Paclitaxel combined with Carboplatin at least 2 courses with 3 weeks interval. Efficacy was evaluated 4 weeks after 2 courses of chemotherapy. Results The response rate was 58.3, and 30.8 in control group. The common side effects were gastrointestinal toxicity , nerve toxicity and leucopenia, but these side effects were all mild. Conclusions WBH combined with chemotherapy is an effective regimen for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer with acceptable toxicity.

They are trideca-2-?-D-glucopyranosyl-1, 13-dihydroxy-3 (E), 11 (E)-en-5, 7, 9-triyne (Ⅰ), trideca -2-?-D-glucopyranosyl-1, 13-dihydroxy-11 (E)-dien-3, 5, 7, 9-tetrayne (Ⅱ), hyperoside (Ⅲ), 6-O-(3″, 6″-diacetyl-?-D-glucopyranosyl)-6, 7, 3′, 4′-(tetrahydroxyaurone) (Ⅳ), 6-O-(6″-acetyl-?-D-glucopyranosyl)-6, 7, 3′, 4′-tetrahydroxyaurone (Ⅴ), 6-O-(4″, 6″-diacetyl-?-D-glucopyranosyl)-6, 7, 3′, 4′-tetrahydroxyaurone (Ⅵ). An endogenous element-label plus exogenous element-tag strategy was proposed for inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry ( ICP-MS) to screen and discriminate a family of ultratrace but biological important biomolecules. The feasibility of this novel idea has been demonstrated when setting seleno ( SeCys) and Se-containing ( SeMet) proteins ( peptides) as an example. Se-label naturally occurring in the biomole-cules acts an identifier for picking them up out of large amount of various coexisting proteins ( peptides) , and CH3 Hg-tag that can bind to SeCys but not SeMet fulfills the task of discriminating seleno and Se-containing ones based on the Se and Hg signals on ICP-MS. After confirmed using SeCys and GPx1, the Se-Hg dual-element labeling strategy together with ICP-MS was applied to screen and discriminate seleno and Se-contai-ning proteins ( peptides) in the water-soluble extracts of Se-enriched yeast, and seven selenoproteins ( pep-tides) were detected with both 202 Hg and 82 Se signals out of fifteen Se-containing species using RPLC/ICP-MS, providing valuable information for further identification using a high-resolution structure-selective mass spectrometer. This endogenous element-label plus exogenous element-tag dual-element approach implies that ICP-MS is not only able to quantify targeted proteins ( peptides) but also helpful to recognize targeted proteins during a discovery-based proteomic study.

Method: Two hundreds cases of chronic prostatitis were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group, 100 cases in each group, to observe the therapeutic effects in the clinical symptoms before and after acupuncture treatments and compare the therapeutic effects of the acupoints between the two groups. Results: Clinical subjective symptoms and examination of prostatic fluid were obviously improved in the treatment group (Group Ⅰ) than in the control group (Group Ⅱ), and the effective rate was 100% in the treatment group and was 91% in the control group, in a significant difference (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion: There is a remarkable therapeutic effect in the treatment of chronic prostatitis by puncturing four acupoints at the root of penis in combination with related acupoints.
