As a kind of new technology, ethical issues are inevitable in medical and non-medical gene en-hancement application. It is unrealistic to unilaterally support or object to the research and application of medical and non -medical gene enhancement. Based on standardizing the ethical principle of gene enhancement tech-niques, we should build management measures of the research, development and application that adapted to ethi-cal, social and legal standards, so that we can draw on the advantages and avoid the disadvantages, and use gene enhancement reasonably and bring benefits to mankind and society.

Objective To study the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasonography in hematoma of soft tissues, and compare the images of different period of hematoma. Method Analyzed and compared the size,shape and sonographic characteristic of 46 cases with hematoma. Results The images of hematoma were round or oval in shape, more than 2.0 cm in trans-diameter, and were isoechoic or hypocchoic in the early stage, then anoechoic areas increased with hyperechoic septum and irregular hypoechoic, with posterior enhancement and hyperechoic boundary. A part of muscle fibres raptured and were occupied by the hematoma if the muscle tore. Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasonography can be the first choice and reliable imaging method to diagnose hematoma of soft tissues.

Currently,the overall situation of information literacy level of researchers in hospitals is generally low.This paper explores the connotation of information literacy and stresses the importance of information literacy cultivation for scientific researchers.Suggestions are also made for cultivation of information literacy.

To observe the patients with type 2 diabetes who were injected premixed insulin analogues after short time continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion( CSII ) treatment.It was found that the patients needed premixed insulin analogue injection 2 times daily when the dosage of CSII was less than 45 U/d,and 3 times daily when the dosage was greater than 45 U/d.The relationship of dosages between premixed insulin analogue treatment ( Y ) and CSII treatment(X) was calculated by following equations:2 times daily premixed insulin analogue treatment:Y =13.093 +0.395X,3 times daily premixed insulin analogue treatment:Y =23.114+0.405X.

This article summarizes the effects of intense exercise on the structure and function of the kidney,the possible mechanism of the changes of the structure and function of the kidney and the research state of the improvement of the function of the kidney by the medicine.The research suggests the intense exercise will lead to the damage of the renal tubules and the glomerulus,the increase of the LPO of the kidney tissue,the decrease of the activity of SOD,the appearance of the exercise-induced albuminuria,exercise-induced hematuria.Vitamine E,Vitamine C,GSH have some protective effect on the structure and function of the kidney.

Objective To investigate the resistance and infection case for the Multidrug-Resistant Acinetobacter baumanii (MDRAb) strains.Methods Retrospective study.Thirty-eight MDRAb strains were collected in Beijing Friendship Hospital from February to August 2008.VITEK2-compact system was used to detect the MDRAb.PCR was carried out to detect their resistance related genes and look up the medical records those who were infected by MDRAb.Results The resistance rate of the MDRAb is the highest in ICU.PCR confirmed that OXA-23 and OXA-51 were 100％ related with the MDRAb.Combination drug therapy such as sulbactam combined with β-lactam antibiotics was more effective than β-lactam antibiotics only to treat the infection with MDRAb.Cases analysis showed that a number of patients infected by MDRAb were the aged with basic diseases,low immunity,received a variety of antibiotic therapy even traumatic operation,and they had a poor prognosis finally.Conclusions The resistance rate of the MDRAb is the highest in ICU,OXA-23 is closely related to multidrug-resistance.Combination drug therapy is necessary and sulbactam can play a great role in curing the inpatients infected with MDRAb.

Objective of electroacupuncture(EA) of Alzheimer′s disease(AD) rat learning and memory ability and plasma SOD , MDA content in brain P53 ,P21 expression .Methods The normal 36 SD rats ,were randomly divided into sham operation group , model group and EA group .EA group acupuncture “Baihui” ,“Taixi” ,“Zusanli” treatment ,through the Morris water maze test in rats behavioral changes ,spectrophotometric observation of SOD and MDA in rat plasma levels ;observation of rat brain P53 ,P21 ex-pression by immunofluorescence .Results Compared With the model group ,group EA escape latency ,longer in the third quadrant of the activities of the time ,the number of crossing platform position increased ,decreased the elevated plasma SOD level ,MDA lev-el ,reduce the expression of brain P53 ,P21 ,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0 .01) .Conclusion electro-acupunc-ture treatment can improve the Aβ1-42-induced AD rat spatial learning and memory ability ,may be lowered P53 ,P21 protein ex-pression increase SOD activity and MDA .

Relevant projects carried out within the Yangtze River economic belt on the impact of schistosomiasis epidemic and transmission are important issues for ecological priority in the process of implementing the strategy. The key problems of schistosomiasis epidemic risk,epidemic happening repeatedly,difficulty of rehabilitating Oncomelania hupensis snail control and schistosomiasis prevention forest,lag of evaluation system and platform construction,lack of basic research,et al. were ana-lyzed in the Yangtze River economic belt taking ecological priority as the basis in this paper. Then corresponding countermea-sures to these challenges were put forward so as to provide the reference for the national forestry schistosomiasis control pro-grams,which include:execution of the comprehensive prevention and control strategy,scheming of the new round of forestry schistosomiasis control programs,strengthening schistosomiasis prevention and control,promoting productivity in existing forest-ry to consolidate and improve the achievements of previous forestry schistosomiasis control programs,and promoting the intensi-ty of technological innovation to improve the technological level of forestry schistosomiasis control programs.

Objective To explore the effect of interventional ward to the development of interventional radiology.Methods Investigation of the first class of the third grade hospitals in northeast region of China for the development status of interventional radiology in 2005 through questionnaires was undertaken.The hospitals were divided into two groups according to setting up interventional ward or not,together with comparative studies of number of doctors,sorts of interventional techniques and number of cases.Results Altogether 52 3rd grade,1st class hospitals have established interventional therapy,including with ward of 29(55.8%)and no ward of 23(44.2%);furthermore the average numbers of doctors in the forementioned two kinds of hospitals were 4.8 ? 1.7 vs 2.8 ? 1.5(P

Atomoxetine as a nonstimulant medicine was approved by the Chinese Food an Drug Administration and provide a new selection of treatment drugs for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Tomoxetine is a noradrenaline transmitter reuptake inhibitor which can selectively inhibit synapsis noradrenaline transport protein, strengthen noradrenaline's resupination effect, and increase noradrenaline's activity released by synaptic cleft to improve the symptoms of the ADHD patients. Compared with methylphenidate, atomoxetine does not affect the concentration of the neurotransmitter dopamine and does not induce or increase the Tourettes' syndrome, therefore atomoxetine is more suitable to treat ADHD together with Tourettes syndrome. In this article the treatment of atomoxetine for ADHD, including the indications, dosage as well as adverse reactions and efficacy assessment are reviewed.
