3.Study progress of microRNAs in aplastic anemia
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2021;36(3):228-230
Aplastic anemia (AA) refers to a life-threatening bone marrow failure disorder. With respect to the precise pathophysiology of AA at present, it is still unclear.MicroRNA (miRNA), about 22 nucleotides in length, is a kind of small RNAs and it can regulate gene expression post-transcriptionally.According to domestic and foreign reports recently, there are abnormal expressions of several miRNAs in AA patients, suggesting that miRNAs may be involved in the development and progression of AA.This article reviews the study progress of miRNAs in AA.
4.Research progress on role of chemokine receptor CCR3 signaling in allergic airway diseases.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2012;26(23):1099-1101
Allergic airway diseases have been identified as chronic inflammatory diseases of respiratory membranes, characterized by infiltration of many inflammatory cells, especially eosinophils. The expression of CCR3 is abundant on the cell surface of eosinophils. Increased accumulation of CCR3-driven inflammatory cells is thought to favor the development of allergy. In this review, we survey the properties of CCR3 and its ligands and highlight the roles of CCR3 signaling in allergic airway diseases.

5.Vitiligo staging based on clinical and skin computed tomography features
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2015;48(6):404-407
Objective To determine the stage of vitiligo according to clinical and skin computed tomography (CT) features. Methods The stage of vitiligo was determined in 200 patients according to a questionnaire-based analysis of clinical features and skin CT findings respectively.Rapid progressive stage was defined as the score for vitiligous lesions or CT findings being higher than 2,slow progressive stage as the score varying from 1 to 2,and stable stage as the score less than 1.Skin samples were obtained at lesional sites receiving CT examination from 5 patients with progressive and 5 patients with stable vitiligo, and subjected to hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining. Results No significant difference was observed between staging results based on clinical features and skin CT findings. The patients diagnosed with progressive vitiligo based on clinical features presented with grey-white or pale white patches with elevated or obscure boundaries,or trichrome vitiligo, while those with stable vitiligo presented with milky-white or porcelain-white lesions with sharp boundaries and pigmented islands. As CT showed, progressive vitiligo was characterized by a loss of integrity in dermal papillary rings at the dermo-epidermal junction level, obscure boundaries between vitiligo lesions and surrounding normal skin, presence of highly refractive cells at the dermo-epidermal junction level in the margins of vitiligo lesions, while stable vitiligo characterized by complete absence of dermal papillary rings at the dermo-epidermal junction level, sharp boundaries between the lesions and surrounding normal skin, and presence of highly refractive dendritic melanocytes.HE staining showed plenty of CD8 + T lymphocytes in the papillary dermis in the margins of progressive vitiligo lesions, but no CD8+ T lymphocyte was seen in those of stable vitiligo lesions. Conclusions Both clinical and skin CT features can be used to determine the stage of vitiligo, and the staging results are consistent with those based on histopathological findings.

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(02):-
AIM: A methond was established for the determination of emodin and chrysophanol in Zhenhuang Powder (Margarita, Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, artificial Calculus Bovis, etc.). METHODS: RP HPLC was used for samples separated on a shim pack VP ODS column with the mobile phase of methanol-0.1% H 3PO 4(85∶15) and the detection wavelength was set at 430nm. RESULTS: The calibration curves were linear in the range of 0.01181~4.724?g( r =0.9994) for emodin and in the range of 0.01300~5.200?g( r =0.9999) for chrysophanol, respectively. The average recoveries were 99.0%( RSD =1.23%, n =5) and 100.5% ( RSD =1.06%, n =5), respectively. CONCLUSION: The method is simple, realizable and reproducible. It can be used effectively for the quality control of Zhenhuang Powder.
8.The clinical value of combining early urine paraquat clearance rate with severity index of paraquat poisoning in predicting the prognosis for acute paraquat poisoning patients
Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2017;26(7):795-801
Objective To investigate the clinical value of combining early urine paraquat early clearance rate (UPCR) with severity index of paraquat poisoning (SIPP) in predicting the prognosis for paraquat poisoning patients. Methods In this retrospective research,a total of 425 cases diagnosed with acute paraquat poisoning from March 2014 to March 2016 in Emergency Intensive Care Unit,First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University were enrolled. The general data of patients, the results of rapid qualitative test of paraquat in blood and urine, the concentration of paraquat in blood / urine, the poisoning time, the concentration of blood lactic acid and the APACHE Ⅱ score were collected. The early UPCR and SIPP were measured at different time intervals, and the ratio of 6-SIPP and 12 h-UPCR were calculated. These patients were divided into death groups and survival groups according to the 28-day mortality. The relationship between these factors and the mortality were analyzed. Results Of all the 425 patients,268 cases (63.1%) died,157 cases (36.9%) survived;the blood concentration of paraquat, the lactate concentration,SIPP values and the APACHE Ⅱ scores were significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05).The mortality of 2-6 hour paraquat rapid qualitative test result positive patients was higher (96.4%) than that of the negative patients (3.6%) (P < 0.05);the mortality of 12-24 hour paraquat rapid qualitative test result negative patients was lower (11.5%) than that of the positive patients (88.5%) (P<0.05).The 2-6 hour SIPP value was 19.8 ±6.7 in death group, which was higher than that in survival group (4.9±3.1) (P<0.05);the 2-6 hour UPCR value was (41.7±9.3) indeath group, which was lower than that in survival group (86.3 ± 15.8) (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the 2-6 hour UPCR value and 12-24 hour UPCR value between two groups (P >0.05).The 6 h-SIPP/12 h-UPCR value was (41.94 ±5.9) in death group, which was higher than that in survival group (5.27 ± 3.6) (P < 0.05).Conclusion The combined use of early UPCR and SIPP values is an effective indicator of the prognosis of patients with acute paraquat poisoning and is helpful for the early stratification. We should pay more attention to the patients whose rapid qualitative blood test is positive because of their high mortality risk;for the patients whose 12 h urinequalitative test was negative, the hemoperfusion therapy might be stopped because the toxin was completely excluded, and the medical resources can be saved reasonably. The UPCR might indicate the excretion of toxins, and SIPP might indicate the severity of poising.
9.Monitoring cerebral oxygenation in PICU
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2017;24(6):405-411
Pediatric intensive care unit(PICU) is the last guarantee for children whose lives were threatened.Brain injury are accompanied in many patients,in which ones dying or surviving were associated with whether their cerebral function would be recovered.Closely monitoring the brain function, especially the metabolic balance of cerebral oxygenation to detect cerebral hypoperfusion and low oxygen delivery and timely interventions being introduced can reduce mortality and longterm sequela.Current trends in monitoring cerebral oxygenation are poor in PICUs of our country. It is very helpful in evaluating cerebral function and predicting prognosis from learning characteristics of cerebral oxygenic balance and monitoring methods of cerebral oxygenation. At present, monitoring cerebral oxygen includes intracranial pressure, cerebral perfusion pressure, jugular venous oxygen saturation, brain tissue oxygen tension, cerebral blood flow, and near infrared spectrum technology and so on.
