2.The Three Stages Therapy of Professor XU Li's Specific Application in the Treatment of Cancer
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2017;41(6):490-493
[Objective] Summing up the specific application of the three stages therapy of Professor XU Li in the treatment of cancer.[Methods]By copying the prescription and consulting the medical books of Professor XU, learning his clinical experience in treatment of cancer, summing up the core thinking of the three stages therapy and the experience of Chinese medicinal plant. [Result]By summing up the three stages therapy(assisting ,maintaining and palliative treatment),the special herb and attaching importance to develop the XIAN TIAN and HOU TIAN in the treatment of cancer ,it can improve radiation and chemotherapy therapeutic efficacy and resistance to transfer the maintenance treatment of recurrence ,improve the quality of life and prolong survival time of palliative care.By the guidance of the three stages therapy, smoothly finish the postoperative radiotherapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, successfully reverse the precancerous lesions of chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia, the two typical medical cases have significant curative effect. [Conclusion] Taking the three stages therapy in the process of the treatment of the tumor and precancerous lesions ,it can get good clinical effect,it is worth spreading in clinic.
3.Construction of rabbit anatomical three-dimensional models of large segmental tibial defects
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(24):3508-3515
BACKGROUND:Tissue-engineered bone has been considered to be a promising candidate for the repair and reconstruction of load-bearing large segmental bone defects. Currently, the studies on the application of tissue-engineered bone mainly focus on cel-scaffold or cytokine-scaffold constructs, which haveshed light upon the repair of large segmental bone defects. OBJECTIVE:Toestablish simple and convenient tissue engineering of anatomicaly shaped tibial bone defect models using three-dimensional rapid prototyping technology to manufacture rabbit tibia biomimetic artificial bone scaffolds. METHODS:Three-dimensional electronic models were constructed using Mimic software. Hydroxyapatite/polycaprolactonescaffolds were manufactured by fused deposition modeling equipment. Fifty rabbits aged 6 months were randomly divided into three groups: blank control(n=3), control(n=6) and experimental groups(n=6), respectively. Tibial defects ranged 1.2 cmweremade in al groups. No treatment was given in blank control group. The bone defects in control and experimental groups were repaired with autogenous osteotomized bone and anatomicaltissue-engineered bone, respectively, and fixed with plates and screws. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) Rabbit tibial bone measurements:tibiallengthwas (93.77±0.59)mm, tibiofibular transverse diameter(8.36±0.13)mm, sagittal diameter(5.97±0.12)mm, average thickness of bone cortex(1.20±0.10)mm, average diameter of the medulary cavity(4.30±0.06)mm. Anglebetween the connection line of the midpoints of superior and inferior articular surfaces at the side of tibial bone models and the connection lineof the midpoints of superior and inferior intersecting surfaces at the side of osteotomized bone modelswasα=(5.97±0.13)°.(2) X-ray in bone defects: at postoperative 4 and 12 weeks, no obvious displacement and angulated deformity were found in bone grafts, suggesting the good bone defect repair.(3) Histological examination: at postoperative 4 weeks, bone scaffolds were filed with new bone in the experimental group. Furthermore, considerably increased new bone formation and mineralization were observed at postoperative 12 weeks.(4) General observation: no obvious displacement and angulated deformity occurredin bone defect grafts at postoperative 4 and 12 weeks. These findings suggest that rabbit anatomical models of large segmental tibial bone defects with good stability were constructed using three-dimensional prototyping technology, which may simulate the structure and function of bone tissue and be used for guiding the new bone regeneration.
4.Recent progress in research of adipocyte fatty acid binding protein and atherosclerosis
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2015;31(11):992-994
Adipocyte fatty acid binding protein (AFABP) is a member of fatty acid binding protein superfamily.Studies in the relationship between AFABP and atherosclerosis may provide new ideas for its pathogenesis. This review summarised a concise and general overview of AFABP' s role in atherosclerosis and atherosclerosis-related disease.
5.Recent progress in metabonomics with regard to hypoglycemic drugs
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(4):346-348
Metabonomics is an emerging platform for technology. It provides a new method in study of drugs. This article summarized evidences derived from recent metabonomics studies regarding hypoglycemic drugs. We collected all proofs of body metabolite profiling in assessing drugs and exploring their potential mechanisms. An outlook of metabonomics for future research into hypoglycemic drugs was also postulated.
6.Evaluation of microlaryngeal surgery through the suspension laryngoscopy under general anesthesia
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(20):3100-3101,后插1
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of microlaryngeal surgery through the suspension laryngoscopy under general anesthesia. Methods The clinical data of 298 patients underwent microlaryngeal surgery through laryngoscope under general anesthesia to resect the vocal cord were retrospectively analyzed. Results It was possible to completely cut off the pathological tissue. All cases were followed up for 3 months,260 cases were cured,25 cases had improvement, only 6 cases had no improvement. The cure rate was 89.3%,the total effective rate was 97.9%,and no serious complications occurred. Conclusion It has good clinical efficacy to treat the benignant pathological changes of vocal cord,it can improve the malignant tumors of vocal cord.Strict operation indications and operation technique can prevent serious complications.
7.A Comparison of Attachment in Adolescents of Mainland China and Malaysia
Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 1993;0(02):-
Objective: To compare the differences of the relationships of paternal attachment, maternal attachment and peer attachment in adolescents of Mainland China and Malaysia. Methods: Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment was used and 1694 adolescents were tested(315 were Malay of Malaysia,666 were Chinese of Malaysia and 713 were Chinese of Mainland China). Results: Adolescents of Malay evaluated more positive in parental and peer attachment than those in China and Malaysia. Conclusion: Significant differences between the attachment by Malay and Chinese adolescents point to the need to understand attachment in adolescents within a cultural context.
