Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2017;16(4):424-428
Objective To observe and investigate the effects of the case-based learning assisted with WeChat software in the teaching of nursing constitution regulating theory. Method The two classes of nursing undergraduate Grade 2013 were randomized into the case-based learning (CBL) group and the traditional teaching group (LBL). WeChat group combined with CBL group made preparation before class, including teachers writing the cases and thinking questions, WeChat sending teaching information, students discussing problems in group and collecting information. In class, students gave presentation and made speech, and the teachers made comments, did summary and gave scores to students' performance. In LBL group teacher prepared a lesson, and taught lessens assisted by multimedia PPT. After class, we used the test of nursing constitution regulating and teaching effect questionnaire to compare the differences between the two groups, using SPSS 21.0 for data statistics, and t test for measurement data. Results The single choice score, multiple choice score and the total score of the test of nursing constitution regulating in the CBL group were (52.46±4.35), (33.42±3.11), and (85.88±5.72), higher than the LBL group which were (47.63±5.84), (29.88±4.55), and (77.50±7.88). The difference was statistically significant. Scores of self-study ability, interest in learning, literature retrieval ability, communication and cooperation ability, TCM differentiation and the examination scores in CBL group were significantly higher than that in LBL group. Conclusion The case-based learning assisted with WeChat software can inspire the interest of learning, cultivate the self-study ability and practice the ability of TCM differentiation. It is worthy of being generalized.
2.Research advances of the effect of commonly used drugs on dendritic cell function and HIV infection
Chinese Journal of Clinical Infectious Diseases 2017;10(1):63-67
Dendritic cells (DCs)can capture HIV from the mucosal site and carry it to the draining lymph nodes to promote CD4 + T cell infection.DC-SIGN(CD209)plays a vital role during this process. Heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine are the most abused drugs used by drug abusers, which can increase the opportunities of HIV infection.Drugs acting on the corresponding receptors activate the downstream signaling pathway and regulate the expression of DC-SIGN on the surface of DCs,weakening the inhibited effects of immune cells on HIV and promoting HIV infection in many aspects.Given the multiplex effects of drugs on immune function, this article reviews the relationship between abused drugs,DCs and HIV infection, particularly in the signal pathway on immune modulation.
3.Antihypertensive therapy and prevent coronary disease
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2003;0(01):-
For hypertension, lowering blood pressure is the basis and well controlled pressure is the core. The ultimate goal of the therapy is to decrease the risk of target organs damage, then minimize the occurrence of cardiovascular endpoint events.Evidence based medicine has confirmed the advantage of ACEI and CCB therapy in controlling blood pressure, lowering the incidence and the mortality of coronary disease.
4.CONSTRUCTION OF SALMONELLA STN-DEFICENT MUTANTS AND DETECTION OF THEIR VIRULENCE
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(03):-
The plasmids of recombinant suicide vector containing the truncated stn gene and the deleted stn gene were constructed. The Salmonella stn-deficient mutant was prepared by homologous recombination between the mutant stn gene in the recombinant suicide vector and the wild-type gene in the chromosome of S. Typhimurium 2000. The detection of biological activity of stn gene production in those mutants indicated that Salmonella stn-deficient mutants evoked significantly less fluid secretion in mouse intestinal loops compared to that seen with wild-type Salmonella. Upon oral challenge of mice, the fifty percent lethal dose of the Salmonella stn-deficient mutants was greater than that for the wild-type bacteria. Those studies showed that the stn gene is very important factor in the pathogenesis of salmonellosis.
5.Diagnostic value of two-dimensional and three-dimensional ultrasonography in detecting fetal holoprosencephaly complicated with face malformation
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(01):-
Objective To evaluate the clinical value of fetal holoprosencephaly complicated with face malformation by two-dimensional(2D) and three-dimensional(3D) ultrasonography. Methods Fetal faces and brains were examined regularly with 3D ultrasonography when they were suspected abnormal with 2D ultrasonography and compaired the diagnoses with postnatal or induced delivery results. Results 11 cases of holoprosencephaly complicated with face malformation were diagnosed using 2D and 3D ultrasonography.Among these cases, there were 4 with single median mostril,2 with proboscis,2 with cheiloschisis,2 with multipte face malformation,1 with arhinia. They were all comfirmed by postnatal or induced delivery. Conclusions 3D ultrasonography provides visualized,three-dimensional,more precise and clearly fetal structure imagine. It has important supplement to 2D ultrasonography.2D ultrasonography combined with 3D ultrasonography can greatly enhance the diagnosis rate to holoprosencephaly complicated with face malformation.

7.Changes and significance of the circulating immunocomplexes in patients with recurrent uveitis
Recent Advances in Ophthalmology 2001;21(3):170-171
Objective To explore the changes and significance of the circulating immunocomplexes(CIC) in patients with chronic iridocyclitis. Methods We assessed circulating immunocomplexes in peripheral blood of 45 patients with recurrent uveitis and 42 healthy controls by PEG deposition with the biochemical analyzer to obtain levels of CIC different with recurrent uveitis. Results Levels of CIC were significantly higher in active patients(27.358±6.729)than those in controls(13.459±6.164,P<0.001) and inactive patients (16.248±6.233,P<0.001),but patients (inactive) had significantly higher levels than those in controls (P<0.05).Conclusion Levels of CIC were found in the groups of active patients with recurrent uveitis (27.358±6.729), but levels of CIC in inactive patients fell. The result of this study suggest that recurrence of uveitis is related to immunocomplexes, and changes in the levels of CIC could be also a measure standard of therapeutic effects.
9.Risk Factors for Relapse in Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease:Analysis of 479 Clinical Cases
Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2015;(7):411-416
Background:Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a chronic,non-specific,relapsing inflammatory bowel disorder. Prediction of prognosis and relapse is of great importance for disease control. Aims:To analyze the characteristics and related factors for relapse in IBD patients. Methods:Four hundred and seventy-nine hospitalized patients diagnosed as ulcerative colitis(UC,n = 301)or Crohn’s disease( CD,n = 178)from Jan. 2004 to Jun. 2014 were enrolled and divided into relapse group and non-relapse group. The clinical characteristics were collected and univariate and multivariate analysis were performed to identify the influencing factors for relapse. Results:The relapse rates for UC and CD were 52. 49% and 77. 53% ,respectively. In stepwise Logistic regression analysis, younger onset age( < 40 years old,OR =0. 825,95% CI:0. 777-0. 876,P = 0. 000),longer disease duration(OR = 1. 186,95% CI:1. 089-1. 291,P = 0. 000) and extensive colitis(OR = 16. 993,95% CI:2. 670-108. 170,P = 0. 003)were independent risk factors for relapse of UC,while younger onset age( < 40 years old,OR = 0. 944,95% CI:0. 915-0. 974,P = 0. 000)and poor medication adherence(OR = 31. 074,95% CI:10. 456-92. 343,P = 0. 000)were independent risk factors for relapse of CD. Conclusions:Patients at high risk for relapse of IBD can be identified by referring to the related risk factors. Early identification and intervention, persistence for maintenance therapy and improving medication adherence by health education may reduce the clinical relapse of IBD.
