To explore the clinical efficacies of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on the recovery of cognitive function in stroke patients on hemodialysis.Forty stroke patients on hemodialysis were assigned randomly into hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) (n =20 ) and routine therapy groups (n =20).Patients of HBO group received both hyperbaric oxygen therapy and routine therapy.Nerves functions and cognitive function were observed before and after therapy to compare the clinical outcomes.Neuropsychological tests,minimental status examination (MMSE) and activities of daily living (ADL) were used for assessing cognitive function.Then the outcomes were compared with those of the control group.Nerves function and cognitive dysfunction of the treatment group had significant improvement (P ＜ 0.01).Hyperbaric oxygen can significantly improve cognitive dysfunction in stroke patients on hemodialysis.

Objective:To seek the main incentive factors that influencing medical staff′s enthusiasm through the medical staff satisfaction survey among the grass-roots level medical staff in Shaanxi province.Methods:Choosing the north, middle and south parts of Shaanxi province and using the questionnaire survey, factor analysis method and Krukal-Wallis test were used.Results:Main drive common factor affect the enthusiasm of the staff with train-ing and development, compensation and protection level, management mode and team cooperation, working condi-tions and working environment, and different characteristics of medical staff on incentive satisfaction differences. Conclusion:In order to improve medical staff′s work enthusiasm, it is necessary to combine the Shaanxi regional specific circumstances, to establish a suitable incentive mechanism.

Objective To determine the relationship between the viral load of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) in newborns with symptomatic congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection.Methods The study cohort comprised 36 newborns with symptomatic congenital CMV infection.CSF from all of the patients were analyzed for the presence of CMV DNA by PCR.Audiological function were performed on them by brain stem auditory evoked potential at birth,at 6 and 12 months of age.Results (1)Of the 36 newborns,15 cases (41.7％) had positive CSF PCR result,17 cases (47.2％) had SNHL.(2) The prevalence of SNHL in the group of newborns with positive CSF PCR result was 60.0％ (9/15),and it was 38.1％ (8/21) in the group of newborns with negative CSF PCR result,there was no significant difference of the prevalence of SNHL between the two groups (P =0.194).(3) In newborns with positive CSF PCR result,the amounts of CSF CMV DNA was not different between the newborns with SNHL and normal hearing (3.35 ± 0.68 vs.3.17 ± 0.56,P =0.36).Conclusion A positive CSF PCR result and the CMV viral load of CSF did not correlate with SNHL.

Objective To study the relationship between the semen quality and age in infertile men in Qingyuan.Methods 727 cases of infertile men from Reproductive Medicine Center outpatient were enrolled and divided into 5 groups:≤ 25,> 25 - 30,>30-35,>35-40,>40 age groups.The semen characteristics were carried out by calculator assistance sperm analysis(CASA) technique and Diff-Quick staining method.Results The sperm density of >30 -35 age group was the highest,but there was no significantly difference from other groups(P >0.05).Semen analysis showed that the rates of PR,PR+NP and survival sperm were on downward trends with the increase of age,but not statistically significant(P >0.05).38.19% of >25 -30 age group reached WHO′s semen parameters standard,which was the highest proportion among 5 groups.And the proportion in >40 age group was the lowest,which counted for 27.42%.Conclusion The semen quality shows a down trend with the increase of age,however,the infertility could occur in the reproductive men at any stage.
