Objective To explore the effect of rehabilitation on pneumonia in children with cerebral palsy (CP).Methods60 CP children with pneumonia were randomly divided into the control group and rehabilitation group with 30 cases in each group. All children in two groups received active support therapy but those in the rehabilitation group were added with rehabilitation treatment.ResultsThe time of body temperature decline, alleviation of cough and expectoration, role disappear of the rehabilitation group were shortened compared with that of the control group ( P<0.05).ConclusionRehabilitation treatment is helpful for treatment of pneumonia in CP children.

BACKGROUND:Transoral ventral release and posterior fusion have predominated in the treatment of irreducible atlantoaxial dislocation, but there is no consistent conclusion on the clinical efficacy.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the clinical outcomes of transoral ventral release and posterior fusion and screw/rod implantation in the treatment of irreducible atlantoaxial dislocation.
METHODS:A total of 32 patients with irreducible atlantoaxial dislocation undergoing thetransoral ventral release and posterior fusion were selected. After treatment, they received cervical anteroposterior and lateral digital DR and cervical MRI examinations to understand the conditions of nerve compression and bone fusion. The recovery of nerve function was evaluated using Japanese Orthopaedic Association before treatment, 6 months after treatment and during final fol ow-up.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Post-treatment, 29 patients were fol owed-up for an average period of 12 months. (1) Al the patients obtained perfect atlantoaxial joint reduction and bone fusion. This achieved reduction and reconstruction of spinal column stability. (2) Spinal compression was obviously lessened after treatment in al patients, and nerve functions were improved to different degrees. Significant differences in Japanese Orthopaedic Association score were detected between 6 months post-treatment, final fol ow-up and pre-treatment (P<0.05). (3) There were no serious intraoperative complications such as spinal cord or vertebral artery injuries. Postoperative complications such as infection or burst were also not found. (4) Imaging evaluation revealed that transoral ventral release and posterior fusion is safe and effective for treatment of irreducible atlantoaxial dislocation.

Objective:To summarize the characteristics and nursing experience of patients of transthyretin amyloid polyneuropathy. Methods:A retrospective study was performed in 9 patients with transthyretin amyloid polyneuropathy from different area in china from February 2018 to October 2021 in the Second Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University School of Medical, summarized nursing points:used list to popularize disease knowledge, improved the nursing skills of rare diseases; did a good job in the safety nursing of sensory motor disorders to prevent pressure sores, scalds, fall, thrombosis and other complications, paid attention to the nursing of autonomic nerve dysfunction, prevented postural hypotension. Observe and prevent heart failure, manage diarrhea and constipation, and applied the guide to personalized urinary tract management;provided genetic counseling services, personalized continuing care and psychological care. Results:During hospitalization, the clinical symptoms of 9 patients were improved to varying degrees, after 3 months of telephone follow-up after discharge, 9 patients had no adverse events such as pressure ulcer and fall. Conclusions:By improving specialized skills, predictive risk management and symptom care, the symptoms of postural hypotension, urinary retention, constipation, diarrhea and other symptoms of transthyretin amyloid polyneuropathy patients can be prevented and improved, and adverse events such as falls and pressure sores can be avoided.

With the rapid development of clinical trials, the relevant medical research and molecular detection based on biological samples are closely related to the progress of clinical trials, making the role of biological samples in clinical trials increasingly obvious. The standardized supervision mode of biological samples is an important prerequisite for carrying out high-quality clinical trials. Although the laws and regulations related to clinical trials are becoming more and more perfect, there are still a large number of adverse events related to biological samples, which seriously affects the progress and results of clinical trials, and is one of the important challenges currently facing. Therefore, it is urgent to enhance the supervision of biological samples and improve the management methods of biological samples in clinical trials at this stage. Through in-depth discussion of the current status of biological sample management in clinical trials at home and abroad, this paper analyzed the issues existed during the supervision of biological samples, and supplemented the biological sample management methods by further combing the existing relevant laws and regulations and the Guidelines for the Ethical Management of Biological Samples in Clinical Trials, with a view to providing suggestions and ideas for optimizing the management mode of biological samples in clinical trials.
