1.Therapeutic effect of two threapies for bronchial asthma complicated with allergic rhinitis

ObjectiveTo compare therapeutic effects of fluticasone propionate aerosol combined with fluticasone nasal pray and alone fluticasone propionate aerosol for bronchial asthma complcated with allergic rhinitis.MethodsFifty asthmatic children with allergic rhinitis were randomly divided into observation group and control group.Observation group were treated with fluticasone propionate aerosol combined with fluticasone nasal pray,control group were treated with fluticasone propionate aerosol alone.All the patients were observed for 6 months.The lung function parameters( FEV1% ),the number of acute asthma symptom,the number of days without acute asthma symptom,the number of acute allergic symptoms at one month,three months,six months after the treatment.were observed.ResultsFEV1%of observation group were(107.2 ± 15.3)%,( 115.3 ± 11.9)%,( 131.3 ± 10.9)%,and were significantly improved(98.6 ± 13.6)%,( 102.6 ± 13.6)%,( 126.5 ±9.7)% 、(t =2.306,3.355,3.714,all P <0.05) at one month,three months,six months after the treatment.The number of acute asthma symptom,the number of days without acute asthma symptom,the number of acute allergic symptoms of observation group were(0.13 ±0.11),(150.2 ±14.3),(0.25 ±0.31),and control group were(0.30 ±0.44),(116.5 ±23.1),(0.65 ±0.24),Observation group had significant difference compared with control group(t =2.413,3.435,3.734,all P <0.05).ConclusionThere was significant therapeutic effect of fluticasone propionate aerosol combined with fluticasone nasal pray for bronchial asthma complicated with allergic thinitis,and was worthy of clinical application
2.Application and characteristics of self-assembling peptide nanofiber hydrogel in three-dimensional cell culture systems

BACKGROUND:Self-assembling peptide scaffolds have attracted much more attention among three dimensional biomaterials due to its biocompatibility, biodegradation, and tailor-made properties.
OBJECTIVE:To review the structure and design of functionalized self-assembling RADA peptide, and the recent advances in the use of RADA self-assembling peptide for three-dimensional cel culture in cel therapy applications.
METHODS:Total 224 literatures related to self-assembling peptide and tissue engineering from PubMed, Web of Science and CNKI databases were screened out for this review. The keywords were“self-assembly peptide, tissue engineering”in English and Chinese, respectively. Final y 48 of 224 articles about the design, fictionalization, and three-dimensional cel culture of peptide scaffolds were included in this review.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Self-assembling peptide could undergo spontaneous assembly into wel-ordered interwoven nanofibers in water and rapidly form hydrogel, which physical y mimics the architecture of natural extracel ular matrix to ensure a real three-dimensional microenvironment for cel s. In terms of bio-function, this material can be tailor-made with various bioactive short peptide motifs to promote cel adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation.
3.Comparison of the liver Young's modulus value range of cirrhotic patients with different etiologies by real-time ;shear wave elastography

Objective To analyze the difference of Young's modulus between cirrhotic patients with different etiologies.Methods There were 1 99 patients with decompensated cirrhosis enrolled in this study, all of them had been diagnosed clinically.There were 139 cases of hepatitis B patients with cirrhosis,26 cases of hepatitis C patients with liver cirrhosis,34 cases of patients with alcoholic cirrhosis,and selected 50 healthy volunteers as control group in the same period.All subj ects underwent liver shear wave elastography examination,measured and recorded the Young's modulus,and compared the difference between each groups.Results The Young's modulus of liver in the healthy control group was (4.81±0.9)kPa,which was lowest in all groups.The Young's modulus of hepatitis B cirrhosis,hepatitis C cirrhosis,alcoholic cirrhosis increased successively,which was (16.3±8.9)kPa,(17.8±4.8)kPa,(30.6±12.3)kPa,respectively,and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(F =27.95,P <0.01).Conclusions There were some differences of the Young's modulus of cirrhotic patients with different etiologies by real-time shear wave elastography.
4.The application effects of PDCA circulation on behavior management in discharged patients with first cerebral infarction

Objective To explore the application effects of PDCA circulation on behavior management in discharged patients with first cerebral infarction. Methods Patients with first attack of cerebral infarction were enrolled from the department of neurology of the First Hospital of Anhui Medical University from April 2013 to March 2015. According to their admission numbers, patients were divided into the observation group (94 cases) and the control group (80 cases). Besides of the regular personalized secondary prevention, the observation group was also applied for the PDCA cycle for nine months. Stroke Behavior Change Inventory was used to evaluate the changes of their lifestyle and medication compliance one year after discharge for two groups. Results After the observed patients were discharged one year, the changed extent of these five behaviors including quitting smoking, regular monitoring blood pressure and sugar, appropriate exercise, pressure control in the observation group were 0.00 (0.00, 3.00), 1.68 (1.00, 3.00), 1.00 (0.00, 2.00), 1.20 (0.75, 2.00), 1.00 (0.00, 1.00) points, and these in the control group were 0.00 (0.00, 1.0)0, 1.00 (0.00, 2.00), 0.00 (0.00, 1.00), 1.00 (1.00, 2.00), 0.00(0.00, 1.00) points. The observation group in these parameters had significantly higher than the control group (Z=-3.166--2.419, P < 0.05). The changed extent of these behaviors in the medication compliance such as reducing blood glucose, blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, cardiovascular disease, and stroke prevention in the observed group were 0.00 (0.00, 0.00), 0.00 (0.00, 2.00), 0.00 (0.00, 0.00), 0.00 (0.00, 0.00), 3.00 (3.00, 3.00) points, and these in the control group were 0.00 (0.00, 0.00), 0.00 (0.00, 0.79), 0.00 (0.00, 0.00), 0.00 (0.00, 0.80), 0.00 (0.00, 1.50) points. The observation group in these parameters had significantly higher the above parameters than the control group (Z=-8.081--2.595, P<0.05). Conclusions Application of the PDCA circulation in the patients with first attack of cerebral infarction after their discharge can help them correct lifestyle and increase their medical treatment compliance, which is beneficial for secondary prevention of cerebral infarction.

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) injection,which plays a unique role in the clinical treatment,is Chinese original dosage form.But in recent years due to its quality problems or unscientifically clinical use,some adverse reactions have reported,even several injections had serious adverse reactions.So how to develop TCM injection becomes one of the topics the public and scholars most concerned about.Therefore,the three "bottleneck" problems of TCM injection on the current development,which are the material basis and TCM theory,clinical efficacy and safety,and also quality control,were analyzed and discussed in the article.Then the countermeasures were proposed and provided ideas for future research and development of TCM injection.

Objective To observe the effect of Huangqi Danshen Drop Pill(HDDP) on pituitary (Pit) induced acute myocardium ischemia. Methods Acute myocardium ischemia rat model was established by sublingual venous injection of Pit(0. 35U/kg). The changes of the T wave ( II channel ECG) and serum contents of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), CK, superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) were observed in various times after Pit injection. Results HDDP could significantly lower the height of T waves, increase SOD activity and decrease MDA content. Conclusion HDDP can improve acute myocardium ischemia induced by Pit.

10.Effects of intrastriatal microinfusion of sera of patients with Tourette syndrome on stereotypic behaviors in rats

Objective:To establish animal model on the basis of the autoimmune etiology for a subset of cases of Tourette syndrome.Methods:Blood samples were drawn from patients with TS(by DSM-IV)and were sent for further enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays(ELISA)to a laboratory.Eight serum samples with the highest concentration of anti-neural antibody were selected for TS model group,and 8 serum sampled with the lowest concentration of anti-neural antibody were selected for the control group.Osmotic mini pump filled with undiluted TS or control serum were microinfused into the rat striatum at a rate of 0.5 μl /h for 72 h.Stereotypic movements were recorded at 1 d,7 d,14 d and 21 d after microinfusion.Several categories of stereotypy including bites(teeth touching the cage,wood chips,vacuous chewing or other objects except the body),taffy pulling(raises of the forepaw to the mouth and face),self-gnawing,licking not associated with grooming,grooming,head shaking,paw shaking,rearing and episodic utterances(EU)were recorded.Results:The anti-neural antibody serum concentration used for TS model was(0.29±0.06) U/L,and that used in control group was (0.10±0.04) U/L.After infusion of TS sera,stereotypic behaviors in rats was increased significantly[(37.2±7.1) vs.(106.3±11.7),P=0.000].Significant difference were observed in stereotypies scores of TS rats compared to control rats after microinfusion[(106.3±11.7) vs.(31.2±6.2),P=0.000].Conclusion:Stereotypic behaviors are increased in rats after intrastriatal microinfusion of Tourette Syndrome sera under noninflammatory conditions.
