1.Expression of integrin ?V?3 in bone remodeling of periodontium during experimental tooth movement
Journal of Practical Stomatology 1996;0(02):-
Objective:To examine the expression of integrin ?V?3 in periodontium during experimental tooth movement, and then to propose the possible role of ?V?3 in bone remodeling during tooth movement. Methods:Thirty-five rabbits were divided into 7 groups (5 rabbits per group):untreated(control), 1,3, 5, 7, 14 and 21 d groups. A elastic coil spring was ligated between the incisors and the first molar and exert a force of approximately 0.78 N to pull the first molar mesially. The animals were sacrificed at each time intervals(1,3,5,7,14 and 21 d) respectively and specimens were made to observe the expression of integrin ?V?3 in periodontium through in situ hybridization. Results:Different extent expression of integrin ?V?3 were seen in osteoclasts, osteoblast precursors, osteoblasts, odontoclasts and odontoblast except bone cells. Conclusions: Integrin ?V?3 may play an important role in bone modeling, cementum resorption and its reparation during experimental tooth movement.
2.Effect of Combination of Epigallocatechin-3-gallate and Cisplatin on Proliferation and Apoptosis of SW620
Herald of Medicine 2016;35(6):596-600
Objective To investigate the effect of different composed combination of EGCG and cisplatin on human colon adenocarcinoma cell line SW620 and the related mechanisms. Methods SW620 cells at exponential phase were treated with cisplatin(5 mmol.L-1)and EGCG(0, 25, 50 and 100 mmol.L-1).Seventy hours after the cultivation, cell proliferation was detected with MTT;the percentage of apoptotic cells was determined by flow cytometry;expression levels of JAK2, p-JAK2, p-STAT3, STAT3, Bax, Bcl-2, cleavage-PARP, and cleavage-caspase3 were detected by Western blotting. Results The SW620 cell proliferation rate was(95±5)%,(67±5)%,(42±5)%(22±4)% and the apoptotic rat was 5%, 15%, 35%, 57%in the 0, 25,50, 100 mmol.L-1 EGCG groups, respectively. Moreover, EGCG up-regulated the expression of Bax, cleavage-PARP and cleavage-caspase3(P<0.05)and down-regulated the expression of p-JAK2, p-STAT3 and Bcl-2(P<0.05)in a dose-dependent manner, but had no influence on the expression of JAK2 and STAT3(P>0.05). Conclusion EGCG can promote cisplatin-induced apoptosis and proliferation inhibition of human colon adenocarcinoma cell lines of SW620 by suppressing JAK2/STAT3 gignaling pathway.

The abnormal proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells after endothe-lial injury is postulated to be the main pathophysiological process in atherosclerosis (AS). The effects of propylene glycol mannate sulfate(PGMS) on the proliferation of bovine cerebral microvessel smooth muscle cslls (BCMSMCs) induced by 10% fetal calf serum (FCS) and interleukin l(IL-1) were investigated in culture. 5 - 8 stage subcultured BCMSMCs were incubated into 96-well dish- With either 10% FCS or IL-1 (50u/ml) to produce BCMSMCs proliferation , the inhibitory effects of PGMS on proliferation of BCMSMCs were investigated. The results shows that PGMS could inhibit the proliferation of quiescent BCMSMCs induced by 10% PCS. The growth of cells was inhibited, comparing with normal control 72hours after the serum addition as determined by crystal violet stainning and MTTmethod. The proliferation of quiescent BCMSMCs induced by IL-1 (50u/ml) was also inhibited by PGMS as determined by crystal violet stainning and MTT method. The results suggested that PGMS inhibit the proliferation of BCMSMCs induced by 10% FCS and IL-1 ,and the use of PGMS may probably play an important role in the treatment of cerebrovascular disease.

The effects of propylene glycol mannate sulfate (PGMS) on the lipid peroxide (MDA) , superoxide dismutase (SOD) , glutathion peroxidase (GSH-Px), nitric oxide (NO)and water content in the whole cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury rabbits induced by four-vessel occlusion,The results show that PGMS can decrease the brain water and MDA, and can increase the SOD and GSH-Px level. No significant effect on the NO level has been detected. The results suggest that the protective effects of PGMS on ischemia/reperfusion injury may be related to its antioxidation.

Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 1993;0(03):-
Objective To establish the cell model of restenosis in vitro and investigate the effects of fenofibrate on the prevention and treatment of the restenosis. Methods Human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs) were cultured in vitro. The study was designated to 5 groups:(1) control group,(2) LPC group,(3) low-concentration fenofibrate(10 ?mol/L) group,(4) midium-concentration fenofibrate(50 ?mol/L) group,and(5) high-concentration fenofibrate(100 ?mol/L) group.Proliferation and apoptosis of HUVECs were assessed by MTT assay, flow cytometry(FCM) and fluorescence microscopy respectively. Results Compared with the control group,LPC could inhibit the growth and induce apoptosis of HUVECs as well as decrease NO production in HUVECs.Fenofibrate could increase the proliferation and decrease the apoptosis of HUVECs,and also enhance NO production of HUVECs.Conclusion Fenofibrate could improve proliferation and reduce apoptosis and enhance NO production of HUVECs through lysophosphatidylcholine, which may be an important route for fenofibrate to prevent and treat the restenosis after percutaneous coronary intervention.

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) injection, which plays a unique role in the clinical treatment,is Chinese original dosage form. But in recent years due to its quality problems or unscientifically clinical use, some adverse reactions have reported, even several injections had serious adverse reactions. So how to develop TCM injection becomes one of the topics the public and scholars most concerned about. Therefore, the three "bottleneck" problems of TCM injection on the current development, which are the material basis and TCM theory, clinical efficacy and safety, and also quality control, were analyzed and discussed in the article. Then the countermeasures were proposed and provided ideas for future research and development of TCM injection.

Objective To investigate the correlations between obsessive-compulsive symptoms and autism-spectrum quotient and explore if systemizing is the mediator between them. Methods With Padua Inventory (PZ) ,AQ and Systemizing Quotient (SQ), 1901 college students were assessed with stratified random sampling survey. Results Compared with the femal students, score of systemizing in male students had a significant increase ( (26. 773 ± 9.225 )vs (22.017 ± 7 ± 934), P <0.01 ). AQ total score was significantly positive correlated with PI total score( r=0. 336, P<0.01 ),and correlation was also found among SQ,AQ and PI in different degrees. the mediating effect of systemizing was significant. The regression equation was AQ = 18. 942 +0. 064PI -0. 022SQ (P < 0.01 ). Conclusion There are positive correlation between obsessive-compulsive symptoms and AQ in college students, and systemizing is the mediator between above symptoms.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
It is reported that lipid-regulators including statins, nicotinic acid and fibrates can induce severe adverse reactions such as myopathy, even rhabdomyolysis which endangers the patient's life. The authors have discussed the relationship between lipid-regulators and myopathy, rhabdomyolysis, how those drugs cause these adverse reactions and the major factors for myopathy and rhabdomyolysis in order to deepen the knowledge, prevent the happenness of these diseases and develop the more effective and safer lipid-regulators.
