Objective To explore the effect of extended nursing mainly by stoma therapists on the self-care ability of permanent colostomy patients group. Methods Seventy-eight patients with permanent colostomy were equally randomized by random digits table into control group and observation group. The former received routine discharge education by duty nurses and the latter the extended nursing mainly by stoma therapists. Three months after discharge, the exercise of self-care agency scale (ESCA) was used to conduct the assessments for comparisons of two groups.Result The score on ESCA in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.01).Conclusion The extended nursing mainly by stoma therapists can improve colostomy patients’quality of life effectively and help them more knowledgeable about the stoma knowledge and skills to enhance self-care ability.

Objective To explore the effect of tracing methodology on nursing management of cardiology department. Methods From January 2014 to December 2016, the two departments were divided into two groups: the observation group and the control group, 81 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were given routine nursing management, and the observation group was given tracing methodological nursing management. The two groups were compared in terms of basic care pass rate, incidence of adverse care events, patient's satisfaction level. Result The prevalence of basic nursing care of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control, the incidence of nursing adverse events was significantly lower and the patient's satisfaction level was significantly higher (P<0.05). Conclusion In the department of cardiology, the tracing methodology can effectively improve the quality of clinical nursing and patient 's nursing satisfaction.

Objective To investigate the effect of chronotherapy (chemotherapy plus timely medication) on neutrophils in breast cancer patients with neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Methods Fifty breast cancer patients with neoadjuvant chemotherapy were selected from 2011 to 2014 and divided into chronotherapy group and conventional treatment group (conventional group) by random number table method with 25 cases each.Conventional group received conventional neoadjuvant chemotherapy and conventional drug treatment.Chronotherapy group received neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with chronochemotherapy and timely medication treatment, and applied clinical nursing care pathway. Both groups were conducted three cycles of chemotherapy, three weeks after the first and the second chemotherapy, the results of routine blood and liver function were compared in patients between two groups. The number of readmission and fever because of agranulocytosis were calculated. Results The two groups of patients were successfully completed three cycles of chemotherapy, after the first cycle of chemotherapy, the neutrophil was (4.40 ± 2.20)x109/L in chronotherapy group, and (3.18 ± 1.35) × 109/L in conventional group;after the second cycle of chemotherapy, the neutrophil was (3.95 ± 1.58) × 109/L,and (2.83 ± 1.49) x 109/L in conventional group, the two groups were statistically significant,t=2.375,2.563,P <0.05.Two cases needed readmission in chronotherapy group during chemotherapy, accounting for 8%(2/25),much lower than conventional group of 8 cases accounting for 32%(8/25).Conclusions The use of chronotherapy in breast cancer chemotherapy has less neutropenia, mild side effects of bone marrow suppression. It is an effective and safe viable option.

Objective To explore the relationships between inappropriate parenting styles, emotional regulation strategies and self-injury.Methods A total of 1 096 medical students anonymously completed adolescents self-harm scale, emotion regulation scale (ERS) and the rejection and over-protection subscales of parental bonding instrument (PBI).Results The scores of paternal rejection, maternal rejection, paternal over-protection,maternal over-protection,cognitive reappraisal, expression suppression and self-injury were (4.3±3.3),(3.9±3.0),(5.7±3.3),(6.1±3.5),(36.1±6.7),(25.7±7.4) and (1.0±2.9),respectively.The scores of self-injury were positively correlated with the scores of paternal rejection, maternal rejection, paternal over-protection,maternal over-protection and expression suppression (r =0.08-0.20,P< 0.01),meanwhile negatively correlated with the scores of cognitive reappraisal(r=-0.10,P<0.01).Cognitive reappraisal mediated the relationship between parental rejection and self-injury,which accounted for 9.3%.Expression suppression mediated the relationship between parental rejection, parental over-protection and self-injury,which accounted for 14.5% and 17.9%,respectively.Conclusion The emotion regulation strategy act as a mediator between the inappropriate parental styles and self-injury in medical students. In addition, different emotion regulation strategies (cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression) play different roles in such relationship.
