[Objective] To discuss the cure effect of acupoints application combined with TCM decoctions and auricular point buried-bean on pernicious vomiting. [Method] Choose 65 such cases from April 2011 to March 2012 as control group and another 65 from Nov. 2011 to Sep. 2013 as treatment group. The control one take oral y TCM decoction combined with auricular point buried-bean, the treatment one added with TCM acupoints applica-tion;observe the result after 1 course. [Result] In treatment group, 46 cases were cured, 18 better, 1 was not cured, the total effective rate 98.5%;in con-trol one, they were respectively 40,11,14 and 78.4%; the comparison of them had difference of statistical meaning.[Conclusion] The acupoint application combined with TCM decoction and auricular point buried-bean has obvious cure effect on pernicious vomiting.

Objective To explore the change of thyroid hormones and leptin at hyperuricemia (HUA)/gout.Methods A total of 96 primary gouts,65 HUAs,and 59 healthy examiners was selected.Height,weight,blood pressure,renal function,serum uric acid(SUA),glucose,lipid profiles,insulin,thyroid hormones were measured after an overnight fast.Results (1) The prevalence of subhypothyriodism at gout and HUA was 7.29％ and 15.38％,respectively.They were higher than that at healthy subjects.(2) Body mass index (BMI),systolic blood pressure (SBP),triglyceride (TG),cholesterol (CHO),thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH),fasting insulin (FINS),homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR),and serum leptin level were increased remarkably at gout/hyperuricemia relative to control group,whereas,free thyroid hormone (FT4) was decreased.(4) In the gout and hyperuricemia groups,TSH was used as the dependent variable for the linear multivariate regression analysis,the results showed that sex,age,BMI,SUA,FT4,HOMA-IR,and Leptin were included in the regression equation of TSH (βwere-0.27,0.832,0.946,0.198,-0.942,0.895,and 0.650,respectively).Conclusions The prevalence of subhypothyroidism in primary gout/hyperuricemia was increased.Female,age,BMI,SUA,FT4,HOMA-IR,and leptin were the independent risk factors.Insulin resistant and leptin played the media roles in the gout/HUA and hypothyroidism.

Objective To analyze the utilization of Chinese medicines in outpatients of our hospital for the rational use of Chinese medicines in clinic. Methods Drug consumption data during 2010-2012 were collected from the hospital information system database,and drug daily dosages(DDDs)and consumption sum were statistically analyzed. Results The amount of Chinese medicines was 33.07%-36.29%of all drugs costs in the outpatients from 2010-2012. From DDDs’top 10 Chinese medicines during 2010-2012, medicine for cardiovascular medications and urinary system had a great percentage, and the doctors used Chinese medicines reasonably. Conclusion The Chinese medicines uses in outpatients of our hospital is generally rational.

FRTL cells were incubated in the culture medium containing 10 -6 -10-3 mol/L KI for 24, 48 and 72 h, and the levels of sodium iodide symporter (NIS) mRNA and protein were measured using RT-PCR and Western blot. The levels of NIS mRNA in FRTL cells incubated with different concentrations of iodide for 24 and 48 h showed no significant difference as compared with the control group, however, NIS protein was reduced gradually in FRTL cells incubated with different concentrations of iodide for 48 and 72 h as compared with that in control group. The higher the iodide concentration, the lower the levels of NIS protein. The results show that acute iodine excess does not affect the expression of NIS mRNA, but down-regulates NIS protein expression. Iodine excess may regulate the expression of NIS through post-transcription.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the decreasing effects of Polydatin on blood viscosity and microcirculation in the rat model of acute blood stasis.METHODS:The rat model of acute blood stasis was established with high dose of adrenaline sub?cutaneous injection in combination with ice-water socking.The parameters such as whole blood viscosity?bat low and high shear rates,hemotocrit,platelet adhesiveness testPAdT,fibrinogenFIB,plasma viscosity?petc.were used.RESULTS:The results showed that Polydatin reduced FIB,PAdT in rat model remarkably.It obviously caused a reduction of?p,which induced decrease of?b.The effect was more significant than any other factors in reducing blood viscosity and improving mi?crocirculation.CONCLUSION:Polydatin is helpful to reduce blood viscosity and improve microcirculation.The data provided would be useful for rational use of drug.

Objectives:To analyze the prevalence and risk factors of chronic nephropathy among hospitalized gout patients.Methods:537 hospitalized gout patients in Tianjin Medical University Chu Hsien-I Memorial Hospital were enrolled. According to the levels of glomerular filtration rate (eGFR>90 ml/min, 60-90 ml/min and <60 ml/min), patients were divided into normal group, mild chronic nephropathy group and moderate-severe chronic nephropathy group. The height, weight, waist, hip and blood pressure of the patients were measured. Blood samples from elbow vein were collected to measure biochemical indexes. The 24-hour urine was collected to measure creatinine and uric acid. Multivariate regression analysis was used to analyze the related factors that may affect eGFR.Results:The prevalence of chronic nephropathy among gout patients was 46.76%(251/537), which the prevalence of mild chronic nephropathy was 34.82%(187/537), and moderate severe chronic nephropathy was 11.92%(64/537). With the decline of eGFR, the older the patients, the longer the course of gout and hypertension, the more the number of joints involved, the higher the blood uric acid, urinary microalbumin, urinary protein, white blood cell count, uric acid excretion fraction (FeUA), and the lower the red blood cell count, hemoglobin and serum albumin. Pearson correlation analysis of eGFR showed that age, duration of gout and hypertension, number of involved joints, hemoglobin, serum albumin, serum uric acid, urinary microalbumin, and FeUA were correlated with eGFR ( r=-0.43, -0.238, -0.25, -0.128, 0.155, 0.138, -0.169, -0.29, -0.372, respectively, P<0.01). Multivariate regression analysis showed that age, the course of gout, serum uric acid, microalbuminuria and FeUA were independent risk factors for eGFR decline ( P<0.01). Conclusions:Eldly, long course of gout, poor control of serum uric acid and increased excretion of uric acid and microalbumin are risk factors of gout.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic accuracy of contrast-free three dimensional time-of-flight (3D-TOF-MRA) with VR at 3.0 T in the detection of intracranial aneurysms in a large cohort of patients prospectively.Methods Four hundred and eleven patients with suspected aneurysms and other cerebral vascular diseases received contrast-free 3D-TOF-MRA examinations at 3.0 T MRA 2 weeks prior to DSA examination.2D-DSA and VR-DSA were regarded as the gold standard.Six patients were excluded because of motion artifacts,and 36 patients were excluded due to lack of VR-DSA data.Accuracy,sensitivity an specificity in detecting intracranial aneurysms were determined by patient-,aneurysm-,and aneurysm sizebased (＜ 3 mm,3-5 mm,＞ 5-10 mm,＞ 10 mm) evaluations.Results In 369 enrolled patients,VR-DSA revealed 306 aneurysms in 246 patients (66.7％) and no aneurysm in 123 patients; VR 3D-TOF-MRA revealed 311 aneurysms in 249 patients and no aneurysm in 120 patients.The patient-based evaluation of VR 3 D-TOF-MRA at 3.0T yielded accuracy of 97.6％ (360/369),sensitivity of 99.2％ (242/244),and specificity of 94.4％ (118/125) in the detection of intracranial aneurysms.The aneurysm-based evaluation yielded accuracy of 98.3％ (524/533),sensitivity of 99.3％ (304/306),and specificity of 96.1％(220/229).The evaluation based on aneurysm sizes (＜ 3 mm) yielded accuracy of 96.4％ (214/222),sensitivity of 98.2％ (112/114),and specificity of 94.4％ (102/108).Conclusion VR 3D-TOF-MRA at 3.0 T MR can detect intracranial aneurysms accurately and may replace DSA as a contrast-free,noninvasive and non-radiation-based modality for the diagnosis and screening of intracranial aneurysms.

objective To explore the correlation of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) frequency of adiponectin(APN)in patients with type Ⅱ diabetes(T2DM)and its complications,investigate whether the SNP is a risk factor of inheritance of T2DM,and to set up a highly efficient.accurate, economical and practical screening assay to detect the mutation of APN in clinical practice.Methods According to the diagnostic criteria of T2DM,patients with coronary heart disease(CHD),hypertension (HP),and diabetic nephropathy(NE)were recruited into this study.In simple,12DM group,T2DM-HP, T2DM-CHD.T2DM-NE and the control group.serum biochemistry items are measured.The technique of denaturing high-performance liquid chromatography(DHPLC)was used to detect SNPs of ANP gene.Results After all fragments amplified in the reglen of promoter of APN gene were compared with APN GeneID:9370 sequence recorded in GenBank,point mutation has been identified(-11377G/C).The frequency of genotypes of GG,GC,and CC are 5.16%,42.25%,52.58%and 3.4%.32.75%,63.85%,respectively in the groups of T2DM and control.The frequency of G allele was related to the incidence of T2DM,and is a risk factor of T2DM.The relative risk of GC to CC in developing T2DM is much high than that in the control group (OR=0.55).By comparing the clinical data of different groups of genotype in T2DM,it was observed that the genotype affected systolic blood pressure,BMI,abdominal circumference, and waist-buttock ratio(P=0.015).After optimizing the experimental conditions.it was found column temperature 6 0℃ was the best when using DHPLC technology to estimate SNP of APN gene.Conclusion SNP (-11377G/C) of APN gene G allele has a definite correlation with complications of hypertension in T2DM patients,and may contribute to the genetic risk for type 2 diabetes.

OBJECTIVE To explore an effective cleaning method to improve the quality of sterilization,in order to control infections in the hospitals. METHODS To adopt orthogonal experimental forms of L_9(3~4) and take water temperature,cleaning agent type and cleaning method as experimental factors,in this way to investigate decontamination method for surgical instruments,using TOSI indicator cards and Browne STF load device to test the effectiveness of cleaning results. RESULTS It showed that by KQ-4200SY medical digital full-automatic ultrasonic cleaner with washing water at 33-35℃ an optimal cleaning result would be obtained. CONCLUSIONS It is practical to clean surgical instruments by KQ-4200SY medical digital full-automatic ultrasonic cleaner,and by TOSI indicator cards and Browne STF used as test method.

Objective To investigate the relationship between CRP, plasminogen activator inhibitor type 1 (PAI-1) levels, PAI-1 gene promoter 4G/5G polymorphism and the type of acute myocardial infarction (ST elevation myocardial infarction, STEMI vs the non-ST elevation Myocardial infarction, NSTEMI). Methods One hundred seventy-six consecutive patients with AMI were included for the study, of whom 60 had STEMI and 56 had NSTEMI, and 60 adults without cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease were selected as controls. Blood samples were obtained from patients within 6 h of AMI and the plasma PAI-1, CRP, and the gene polymorphism were measured. Results Plasma levels of PAI-1 and CRP were higher in AMI groups, compared those in the control group, and plasma levels of PAI-1 were significantly higher in patients with STEMI compared to those with NSTEMI (80.12ng/ml VS.73.01ng/ml, P <0.01), while CRP levels were not significantly different between patient with STEMI and NSTEMI (3.87±0.79 mg/ml VS.4.01±0.69mg/ml, P>0.05). PAI-1 levels presented a significant correlation with CRP levels in the NSTEMI subjects. However, PAI-1 and CRP levels could explain the lack of a significant relationship between them in control and STEMI subjects.The frequencies of 4G/4G genotype in the AMI group were higher than those in the control group and higher in patient with STEMI than in patient with NSTEMI. Plasma levels of PAI-1 in subjects with 4G/4G genotype were significantly increased as compared to those in subjects with 4G/5G and 5G/5G genotype. Conclusions Plasma PAI-1 levels were associated with different myocardial infarction type, and PAI-1 promoter 4G/5G polymorphisms and CRP may be related to plasma PAI-1 levels.
