Objective:To explore the methods for drug therapy regimen formulation and pharmaceutical service of clinical pharma-cists for the infection induced by peripherally inserted central catheter ( PICC) complicated with deep venous thrombosis in cancer pa-tients. Methods:Referring to the related guide, clinical pharmacists put forward concrete opinions on how to choose anti-infective drugs and anti-thrombotic drugs for a cancer patient with PICC infection complicated with deep venous thrombosis. Clinical pharmacists sug-gested that vancomycin be used for the infection and low molecular weight heparin sodium for prophylactic anticoagulation. Meanwhile, pharmaceutical care for blood clotting function should be strengthened. Results:The proposals of clinical pharmacist were partly adopt-ed by clinicians. After the therapy, the temperature of the patient returned to normal, and the deep venous thrombosis was well con-trolled. The patient was out of hospital smoothly. Conclusion:Through the participation in clinical practice, clinical pharmacists can assist physicians in optimizing treatment plan and summarize the pharmaceutical care mode for the PICC infection and deep venous thrombosis in cancer patients, which can provide instructions for pharmaceutical care in the future.

Objective To analyze the parametric errors during the use of Sysmex CA-1500 automated coagulation analyzer and their treatment measures .Methods Blood samples with test results showing “*”and without figure results were collected .Sysmex CA-1500 automated coagulation analyzer was employed to retest prothrombin time (PT ) ,activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) and fibrinogen(FIB) .Results FIB ,PT and APTT were found abnormal in 226 cases(95 .77% ) ,5 cases(2 .12% ) and 5 cases(2 .12% ) ,respectively ,with FIB the mainly .ERR008 ,ERR004 ,ERR016 ,ERR002 ,ERR032 and ERR100 were found abnormal in 227 cases(76 .95% ) ,64 cases(21 .69% ) ,one case(0 .34% ) ,one case(0 .34% ) ,one case(0 .34% ) and one case(0 .34% ) ,respec-tively ,with ERR008 the mainly .Difference of no-error results between the initial and repeat test of PT and APTT showed no statis-tical significance(P>0 .05) ,while those of FIB demonstrated statistical significance (P<0 .01) .Conclusion Samples with paramet-ric errors during the use of Sysmex CA-1500 automated coagulation analyzer should be retested to promote the quality of blood co-agulation detection .

Objective To compare the effects of methimazole and propylthiouracil on 2-beta globulin and thyroid hormone level in patients with hyperthyroidism.Methods90 cases of patients with hyperthyroidism were treated in our hospital from May 2013 to May 2015, and randomly divided into control group and observation group, 45 cases in each group, the control group was treated with propylthiouracil, the observation group was treated with methimazole, and the level of thyroid hormone, the blood and urine β2-globulin, the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups during before&after treatment.ResultsCompared with before treatment, blood, urine β2-globulin content of two groups were significantly decreased, and the blood, urine beta β2-globulin content of the observation group significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05);compared with before treatment, FT3 and FT4 levels of two groups were significantly decreased during 1,2,3 months after treatment (P<0.05), TSH levels were significantly increased(P<0.05), and the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05);During treatment, the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was no significant difference.ConclusionThere is significantly effect of methimazole in the treatment of hyperthyroidism with methimazole, it can effectively reduce the β2-globulin content, and regulating thyroid hormone levels in the body, it is safe worthy of promotion and application.

Serum pepsinogen(PG)is an effective marker for evaluating gastric mucosa function and can be used as a supplement for screening and early diagnosis of gastric cancer. Recently,serum PG has become a hot spot of study in portal hypertensive gastropathy and functional dyspepsia. Serum PG detection is a noninvasive,simple and low cost investigation method with marked clinical value. This article reviewed the value of serum PG detection in warning gastric cancer and evaluating gastric mucosa function.

ObjectiveTo study the single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) in the ORF26 gene of HHV-8 in Kaposi's sarcoma(KS),and to assess their correlations with the clinical phenotype and mucosal invasion of KS.MethodsHHV-8 DNA was extracted with phenol-chloroform-isoamyl alcohol from paraffin-embedded tissue specimens obtained from 32 cases of KS(including 26 classic and 6 AIDS-related KS).The ORF26 gene of HHV-8 was amplified by nested-PCR followed by bidirectional sequencing.The software DNAStar and program Clustal W were used to assess the SNPs in the ORF26 gene.Statistical analysis was carried out by using the Fisher's exact probability test.ResultsHHV-8 DNA was detected in 30 of the 32 tissue specimens,and in all of the 6 AIDS-related specimens.The predominant SNPs were 981 T/C(n =12),1086 C/T(n =12) and 1139 A/C(n =12) in the ORF26 gene of the 30 strains of HHV-8.No significant difference was observed in the distribution of SNPs in ORF26 between different phenotypes of KS or between KS with and without mucosal invasion.ConclusionThe ORF26 SNPs of HHV-8 seem unrelated to the clinical phenotypes or mucosal invasion of KS.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of near-infrared light combined with tacrolimus 0.1％ ointment in the treatment of facial glucocorticoid-dependent dermatitis.Methods A total of 68 patients with facial glucocorticoid-dependent dermatitis were enrolled from Department of Dermatology of Yantai Yuhuangding Hospital between December 2014 and December 2015,and randomly and equally divided into treatment group and combination group by a random number table.The treatment group was treated topically with tacrolimus ointment twice a day for 4 weeks.Besides the treatment with tacrolimus ointment,the combination group was irradiated with near-infrared light once a week for 4 sessions.After 4-week treatment,improvement in clinical manifestations such as itching and burning sensation was evaluated,so was the therapeutic effect.Results The combination group showed significantly higher response rate (85.3％ [29/34]) compared with the treatment group (61.8％ [21/34],x2 =4.84,P ＜ 0.05).Additionally,response rates for itching and burning sensation,erythema,scales and papules were all significantly higher in the combination group than in the treatment group (x2 =4.84,6.35,8.42 and 5.52,respectively,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Near-infrared light combined with tacrolimus ointment is effective and safe for the treatment of facial glucocorticoid-dependent dermatitis.

Objective Analysis and evaluation of cystatin C (Cysc) ,N‐acetyl‐beta‐D‐glucosaminidase (NAG) ,β2‐microglobulin (β2‐MG) ,blood urea nitrogen(BUN) ,serum creatinine(Scr) five biological parameters in the diagnosis of early renal damage caused by the diseases of Systemic lupus eythematosus ,diabetes or high blood pressure .Methods Collecting 61 patients with high blood pressure ,62 patients with systemic lupus eythematosus (SLE) ,59 patients with diabetes ,56 cases of healthy controls .Cysc was e‐valuated by immune transmission turbidimetric method ,latex enhanced immune turbidimetric method was used to detectβ2‐MG ,u‐sing two point method to determine NAG ,enzymatic assay Scr ,UV‐GLDH method was used to measure serum BUN ,and using the statistical method to analyze the data .Results There was no significant difference between healthy controls and patients group (P>0 .05) in BUN and Src levels .However ,there were significant differences in Cysc ,urineβ2‐MG and NAG concentrations (P<0 .01) .Under ROC curve ,the largest square of diagnosis indexes for early renal damage caused by SLE ,diabetes ,high blood pres‐sure were blood NAG ,urineβ2‐MG and Cysc .Compared to a single parameter ,the rate of joint detection in the diagnosis of early re‐nal damage is high ,a joint detection of Cysc ,β2‐MG and urine NAG could enhance the positive rate to 88 .7% ,which was signifi‐cantly higher than the joint detection with two indexes (77 .4% ,70 .9% or 66 .1% ) .Conclusion The most sensitive and specific in‐dex in the diagnosis of early renal damage caused by SLE ,diabetes ,high blood pressure were blood respectively NAG ,urine beta 2‐MG and Cysc .Joint detection has higher detection rate ,sensitivity ,specificity ,and has important clinical value in the early diagnosis of patients with renal damage ,which is suitable for clinical application .

Objective To investigate the sleep status, quality of life, activities of daily living and the serum levels of interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) in insomnia patients after meridian-collateral stroke treated by the new family rehabilitation program, a combined therapy including traditional family rehabilitalion, acupoint massage and ear point application. Methods A total of 80 cases of insomnia patients after meridian-collateral stroke were enrolled. Subjects were evenly divided into treatment group ( treated with new family rehabilitation program) and control group ( treated with traditional hospital health education and family rehabilitation). Clinical effects of the two groups were evaluated with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), the brief version of WHO Quality of Life Assessment (WHOQOL-BREF) and activities of daily living ( ADL) . The serum levels of IL-1β and TNF-α were monitored before and after therapy and measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA). Results ( 1) After treatment for 28 days, the scores of total PSQI, sleep time, sleep efficiency and sleep disorder incidence in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group ( P<0.01) . ( 2) The scores of physiological, psychological, social relation, environmental dimensions of WHOQOL-BREF in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group ( P<0.01) . ( 3) ADL scores were significantly higher in the treatment group than those in the control group (P<0.01) . (4) Serum levels of IL-1βand TNF-αwere increased in the treatment group as compared with those in the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion Compared with the traditional hospital health education, the new family rehabilitation program can effectively improve the quality of sleep, quality of life, as well as the activities of daily living. And the mechanism may be associated with the up-regulation of the serum levels of IL-1βand TNF-α, which are relevant to the sleep status.

Background: Esophageal variceal bleeding is a clinical emergency and the major cause of death in patients with liver cirrhosis.Aims: To assess the value of platelet count (PC)/spleen diameter (SD) ratio in predicting the presence of esophageal varices (EV) in patients with HBV-related cirrhosis in China.Methods: A total of 91 consecutive HBV-related cirrhosis patients with EV from Aug.2013 to Dec.2015 at Renji Hospital (South Campus),School of Medicine,Shanghai Jiao Tong University were enrolled.Thirty-two HBV-related cirrhosis patients without EV were enrolled as controls.Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy,routine laboratory examinations and abdominal ultrasonography were performed and the related parameters were collected.Binary Logistic regression analysis was carried out to identify independent risk factors associated with EV.ROC curve was used to evaluate the predictive performance of PC/SD ratio for the presence of EV.Results: The PC/SD ratio was significantly lower in EV group than in non-EV group (538.2±327.0 vs.1 105.9±426.6,P=0.001).Binary Logistic regression analysis showed that the PC/SD ratio was independently associated with the presence of EV (OR=57.29,95％ CI: 15～214,P=0.000).In ROC curve analysis,the area under the curve (AUC) of PC/SD ratio in predicting the presence of EV was 0.853;the optimal cutoff value was 842,and the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value were 85.7％,75.0％,90.7％,and 64.9％,respectively.Conclusions: PC/SD ratio can be used as a non-invasive tool for prediction of the presence of EV in patients with HBV-related cirrhosis.It may reduce the number of unnecessary endoscopy.

Background:More and more evidences suggest that microRNA plays an important role in the development of gastric cancer (GC).Expression of miR-129 in GC tissues is found abnormal, however, the mechanism of miR-129 in cell proliferation and invasion is still undefined.Aims:To investigate the expression of miR-129 in GC tissue and GC cell lines and the mechanism of miR-129 in proliferation and invasion of SGC-7901 cells.Methods:Eighty-two GC tissues and corresponding paracancerous tissues were collected, human gastric epithelial cell line and different GC cell lines were cultured, qPCR was conducted to assess miR-129 expression.SGC-7901 cells were transfected with miR-129 mimic or miR-NC, and then were transfected with overexpressed HMGA2 plasmid.Colony formation assay was used to detect cell proliferation ability, and Transwell chamber was used to assess cell invasion ability.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between miR-129 and HMGA2 mRNA expression.Luciferase assay was performed to determine the activity of luciferase.mRNA and protein expressions of miR-129, HMGA2 were determined by qPCR and Western blotting, respectively.Results:Compared with paracancerous tissues, expression of miR-129 was significantly decreased in GC tissues (P<0.05);when compared with human gastric epithelial cells, expression of miR-129 was significantly decreased in GC cell lines (P<0.05).Compared with miR-NC group, proliferation and invasion abilities of SGC-7901 cells were inhibited in miR-129 mimic group (P<0.05).HMGA2 mRNA expression in GC tissues was significantly upregulated (P<0.05), and was negatively correlated with miR-129 expression (r=-0.543 9, P<0.01).Luciferase activity in wild-type miR-129 mimic group was significantly lower than that in miR-NC group (P<0.05);mRNA and protein expressions of HMGA2 were decreased after transfection with miR-129 mimic (P<0.05).Compared with miR-129+vector group, proliferation and invasion of SGC-7901 cells were significantly increased in miR-129 mimic+HMGA2 group (P<0.05).Conclusions:The expression of miR-129 is decreased in GC tissue and cells;miR-129 inhibits SGC-7901 cells proliferation and invasion by negatively regulating HMGA2.
