Objective To observe the clinical efect of Weisu particle combined with Mosapride in the treat-ment of the functional dyspepsia .Methods According to the digital table ,64 patients were divided into two groups in random,32 cases were treated by Weisu particle combined with Mosapride in treat group ,33 cases treated by Mosa-pride in control group .Both have a course of 4 weeks treatment .Results The efective rate of the treat ment group′was/96.87%which was better than that of the control group′(s 68.75%)(χ2=4.68,P<0.05).Conclusion The thera-peutic method of Weisu particle combined with Mosapride have a better clinical effect than that of domperidone only used .

A registered dietitian credential is generally accepted and recognized as the most authoritative certificate of eligibility for American dietitians.In this article we describe in detail the American Registered Dieti-tian (RD) training system,administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) and the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA).Taking the Division of Nutritional Sciences of Cornell University as a good example of the RD training unit,we describe the Cornell Un-dergraduate Didactic Program in Dietetics and Dietetic Internship.Career opportunities and job outlook for Ameri-can registered dietitians are also presented.

Objective To investigate the prevalence of overweight and obesity and the nutritional status of dietary calcium intake in school-age children in Shanghai and to analyze the relationship between dietary calcium and bone mineral density (BMD).Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted in the second and third grade students of 10 primary schools in Yangpu District and Baoshan District in Shanghai. Food frequency questionnaire was used tu estimate the relative intake of dietary calcium of students in 6 primary schools in Baoshnn District. Quantitative ultrasound bone density examination was used to estimate the calcaneal BMD.The relation-ship between calcium intake and BMD was analyzed.Results The average calcium intake was 647 mg/d among ested students.BMD was not significantly different among different age groups (F=1.595,P=0.173),while Z-score was significantly different among different age groups (F=16.02,P=0.000).The total calcium intake was not correlated with BMD or Z-score.The percentage of dairy calcium intake was positively correlated with BMD (r=0.097,P=0.015)and Z-score (r=O.117,P=0.003),the percentage of non-dairy calcium intake and the non-dairy calcium intake were negatively correlated with BMD (r=-0.097,P=0.015) and Z-score(r=-0.110,P=0.006).When the total dietary calcium intake was ≥600 mg/d,BMD and Z-score significantly higherin students with high dairy calcium intake than those with low dairy calcium intake (P<0.05).When the total dietary calcium intake was <600mg/d,BMD and Z-score were higher in students with high dairy calcium in-take than in those with low dairy calcium intake,although no statistical significance was noted (P>0.05).Conclusions BMD and Z-score increase along with the increase of dairy calcium intake.Such effect becomes even more obvious when the total dietary calcium intake is ≥600 mg/d.

AIM: To investigate the regulatory effects of salusins on tensility of microvessle in rats. METHODS: Wistar rats were randomly distributed into six experimental groups as follows: (1) normal saline injection-treated control; (2) salusin ?; (3) salusin ?; (4) noradrenaline; (5) noradrenaline+salusin ?; and (6) noradrenaline+Salusin ?. For recording the microcirculation images in the mesentery, the intestinal loop was mounted on the stage of an intravital microscope equipped with a TV camera. Temporal changes in internal diameter of arterioles and venules were measured by computer using the Image-Pro software. RESULTS: Salusin ? (10 -5mol/L) dilated arterioles directly and the dilation up to the peak at 3 min [(25.56?4.30) vs (24.49?4.27)?m, P0.05). Salusin ? has no effects on internal diameter directly and NA-induced contraction of microvessles. CONCLUSION: Salusin ? dilated mesenteric arterioles and inhibited NA-induced contraction of microvessles in rats.

AIM:To investigate the ameliorative effect of ischemic postconditioning (I-postC) on pia mater microcirculation in rats subjected to cerebral ischemia reperfusion (I/R) and its mechanisms. METHODS:Thirty-two male Wistar rats were randomly divided into sham,I/R,I-postC,and ischemic preconditioning (IPC) groups. The global cerebral I/R injury was induced by shunting carotid artery in rats. Pia mater microcirculation and cerebral microcirculatory perfusion were measured after reperfusion. The content of soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM-1) in plasma was detected using enzyme linked-immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Myeloperoxidase (MPO),malondialdehyde (MDA),and superoxide dismutase (SOD) in cerebral tissue were detected. The expressions of vascular endothelial cell cadherin (VE-cadherin) and NF-?B p65 in cerebral tissue were assayed by Western blotting. RESULTS:(1) The disturbance of the blood flow in microvessel induced by I/R was improved significantly by I-postC. Objective To compare and analyse four references for assessment of obesity in Chinese children. Methods The height and weight of 2347 children(1175 boys and 1172 girls) aged 7 to 8 years in Shanghai were measured,and their body mass indexes (BMI) were calculated.The prevalences of overweight and obesity were evaluated and compared among reference of Weight for Height 1985(WFH 1985 reference),BMI reference of Working Group on Obesity in China (WGOC reference),BMI reference of Europe International Obesity Task Force(IOTF reference) and BMI reference of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of American 2000 (CDC reference). Results The prevalence of overweiight in boys evaluated by IOTF reference was significantly higher than those by the other three references(P<0.05),and the prevalence of overweight in girls evaluated by IOTF reference was significantly higher than those by WGOC and CDC references (P<0.05).The prevalence of obesity in boys evaluated by IOTF reference was significantly lower than those by the other three references (P<0.01),and the prevalence of obesity in girls evaluated by IOTF reference was significantly lower than those by WGOC and WFH 1985 references(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the evaluation findings of obesity and overweight between WFH 1985 and WGOC references(P>0.05). Conclusion WFH 1985 and WGOC references are more suitable than IOTF and CDC references for assessment of overweight and obesity in Chinese children.

Objective To evaluate the correlation between hyperlipidemia and lower limb arterial disease in eldedy diabetic patients with color Doppler uhrasonography.Methods Two hundred and sixty elderly diabetic patients and 206 normal subjects were enrolled in the study.Doppler uhrasonographic manifestations of lower limb arterial disease,blood pressure and blood biochemistry parameters including fasting plasma glucose(FPG),postprandial plasma glucose(PPG),TC,TG,HLD-C,LDL-C,apoprotein B (apoB),very low density lipoprotein cholesterol(VLDL-C),apoprotein Al(apoA1)and fibrinogen(Fb)were compared between the 2 groups.Results (1)The blood biochemistry parameters,including the levels of FPG,PPG,TC,TG,VLDL-C,LDL-C,apoB and Fb were higher in diabetic patients t11an in normal subiects.while HDL-C was lower(all P＜0.05).(2)The thickness of intima-media(IMT)in the lower limb arterial disease group was significantly increased and the presence of arterial stenosis and wall plaques more in diabetic patients[IMT in 205 cases(78.85%),atherosclerotic plaque in 241 cases(92.69%),muhivessel disease(more than 2 vessels)in 60 cases(23.08%)and arterial stenosis in 89 cases (34.23%)]than in normal subjects[IMT in 37 cases(17.96%),atherosclerotic plaque in 51 cases (24.76%),muhivessel disease in 27 cases(13.11%)and arterial stenosis in 3 cases(0.01%)],all P＜0.01.(3)Regression analysis showed that lower limb arterial disease was correlated with high level of LDLC and low level of HDL-C.Conclusions Arteriosclerotic plaque is one of the early manifestations in elderly diabetic patients and hyperlipidemia may provide the basis of its formation.Doppler uhrasonographic examination of lower limbarterial discloses the early arteriosclerotic changes of lower limb arterial disease in elderly patients and offers the basic data of indication for clinical treatment.

Objective To research the clinical characteristics of neonates with non-immune hydrops fetalis.Methods The clinical data of eleven non-immune hydrops fetalis who admitted from January 2015 to November 2016 were retrospectively studied.Imaging manifestations,cause analysis and outcomes were explored and analyzed with descriptive statistical methods.Results The most common abnormal images in this study were hydrothorax,seroperitoneum and subcutaneous edema.Of all the cases,cardiac anomalies were in 2 cases,chylothorax in 3 cases,chromosome abnormality in 1 case,meconium peritonitis in 1 case,bladder rupture in 1 case and unknown reasons in 3 cases.Of all the cases,3 cases were terminated pregnancy before 28 weeks,2 cases were fetal intrauterine death,and 6 cases were live births,among whom 2 cases died within 48 h of newborn and 3 cases survived.Placental pathologic conditions of 8 cases were edematous placentas.Conclusions The mortality of non-immune hydrops fetalis is high.Its etiology,pathogenesis and the timing of pregnancy termination need to be explored.

AIM: To investigate the activity and distribution of calcineurin (CaN) in different tissues of rat. METHODS: Using western blot and immunohistochemical staining methods to measure the amount and location of CnA?, isoform of catalytic subunit of CaN in different tissues of rat. CaN activity was measured by labelled substrate peptide. RESULTS: 1. Western blot showed that CnA? expression was detected in brain, heart, skeletal muscle and lung tissues. There was no detectable CnA? expression in kidney and aorta. 2. In immunohistochemical staining study, there was strong immunostaining of CnA? in brain. CnA? was located in cytoplasm of cardiac cell, macrophage and connective tissue of peribronchiolar in lung tissue, aorta adventitia, connective tissue around small vessels and outer wall of renal tube. 3. CaN activity was highest in brain, the following was skeletal muscle, myocardium and lung tissue. CaN activity was lowest in aorta and kidney tissue. CONCLUSION: CaN is widely distributed in rats and might be involved in functional regulation of various organs and tissues.
