Objective: To analyze the chemical constituents of the essential oil extracted from the seeds of Myristica fragrans Houtt.(nutmeg) in Indonesia and to provide qualities control scientific foundations.Methods: The essential oil was extracted by steam distillation and separated with GC capillary column.The relative content of every compound was determined by normalization method and the chemical compositions were evaluated by GC-MS.Results: Ninety-three chromatographic peaks were isolated and sixty-one compounds were identified,accounting for 97.62% of the total essential oil in nutmeg.Conclusion: The essential components of nutmeg in Indonesia is monoterpenoids and it's derivatives,accounting for 78.87% of the total essential oil.And phenolic compounds were the secondary composition,accounting for 16.79%.The essential oil contains safrole,which can induce genetoxicity and mutagenicity in animal,and myristicin and elemicin which can induce illusion.So,it must be careful when Myristica fragrans Houtt was used.

Objective To study the effect of glucocorticoid receptor(GCR) on the treatment of patients with nephrotic syndrome(NS) and to observe the accommodation effect of herbal gynostemmae,acanthopanax senticosus harns on GCR levels.Methods The patients were divided into 3 groups: the healthy control group,treatment group Ⅰ(GC only) and treatment group Ⅱ(combination with herbal gynostemmae,acanthopanax senticosus harns and GC),radioligand binding assay was used to measure the GCR levels of each group.At the same time,the urine protein ratio within 24 hours was observed in each group.Results Compared with healthy control group,the GCR levels of treatment group Ⅰ and Ⅱ were both reduced,but after 4 weeks of treatment in the treatment group Ⅱ,not only GCR level recovered but also the urine protein were decreased faster than treatment group Ⅰ.Conclusions Herbal gynostemmae,acanthopanax senticosus harns can accommodate the GCR levels of children with NS.They can also eliminate urine protein and cure NS ideally.

Abstract? AlM: To evaluate the meaning of using optical coherence tomography with enhanced depth imaging ( OCT-EDl ) to measure choroidal thickness of central serous retinopathy ( CSC) .?METHODS: With the retrospective case control study, 65 patients (65 eyes) with CSC and 50 healthy controls (50 eyes ) with age, gender and diopter - matched were recruited in this study. OCT-EDl were used to measure the subfoveal choroidal thickness ( SFCT ) in CSC eyes, the fellow eyes and also the control eyes. Of which 40 of the 65 CSC patients self-cured, 14 of them were treated with photodynamic therapy ( PDT ) , the left 11 accepted the laser photocoagulation ( LP ) . SFCT were measured 3mo after that. Compared with the previous data, the statistical analysis was carried out.?RESULTS: The SFCT value of 65 CSC eyes, 65 fellow eyes and 50 control eyes were 436. 23 ± 89. 50, 389. 45 ± 101. 03 and 329. 36 ± 95. 87μm, respectively. The SFCT of suffer and fellow eyes increased significantly compared to the control eyes ( P = 0. 008 and 0. 013, respectively). There was also significant difference in SFCT between the CSC eyes and the fellow eyes (P=0. 021).
