1.Curcumin inhibits proliferation of lung cancer cell A549 through Wnt signaling pathway
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2007;0(12):-
Objective:To explore the possible molecular mechanism of inhibiting the proliferation of lung cancer cells by studing curcumin regulating neucleoprotein ?-catenin,the key factor of Wnt signaling pathway.Methods:Non-toxic different doses of curcumin affected human lung adenocarcinoma cell A549 for 48 hours.Inhibitory effect of curcumin on proliferation of A549 cells was evaluated by MTT assay. The correclation of doses and inhibition ratio was analyzed statistically. The neucleoprotein levels of ?-catenin was analyzed by Western blot. The expression level of c-myc was analyzed by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).The exchange of cell cycle was examined by flow cytometry(FCM).Results:Curcumin inhibited the proliferation of A549 in a concentration-dependent manne(rP

Long non-coding RNA ( LncRNA) is a class of transcript (>200 nucleotides) that do not encode proteins. It plays an important role in epigenetic regulation and gene expression at transcriptional or post transcriptional level. The abnormal expression of LncRNA may lead to various pathological processes. Diabetic retinopathy ( DR ) is a multifactorial disease. Recent studies have shown that many specific expressions of LncRNAs are closely related to the genesis of DR. In this review, we summarized the recent advances in the function of LncRNA, the regulatory mechanisms of LncRNA involved in the development of DR, and the related therapies.

At the beginning of the 1980s, a concept of viable but non-culturable(VBNC) was suggested. VBNC is a survival strategy adopted by microorganisms when they are exposed to environmental stress. This article try to make a summary of research of the conditions of VBNC formation, recovery of culturability and methods of VBNC cells detection. In addition, introduces the first growth factor of microorganisms-Rpf.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2003;0(10):-
Objective To construct recombinant prokaryotic plasmid DNA encoding mycobacterium tuberculosis (TB) heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) - Dnak gene obtained from pMT70, then purify its characterizes and the role of rHSP70 in tumor therapy. Methods Amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and with terminal modification, the Dnak gene was cloned into the vector with T7 promoter and was confirmed by restriction endonuclease digestion. So a new plasmid pMT70 - 3 was constructed and transformed in E. Coli. Strain BL21DE3. The engineering bacteria were induced by IPTG. Western-blot,natine-page and scanning were used to analyze the results. The human HSP70 were induced with peptides of lymphocytic leukemia cells of L1210 of mice in binding buffer which contain MgCl2 and ADP at 37 ℃ , then mice were given rHSP70 peptide - complex by SV injection twice at weekly intervals. Results The Dnak gene could be highly expressed in E. Coli as soluble protein. The expressing efficiency was 65% of the total cell protein and the soluble protein was 90% of the expressed protein. The rHSP70 - peptide complex could improve the immune protective function which had significant difference compared with controls (P

Trehalose is a naturally occurring non-reducing disaccharide. This sugar has been known as a protector of biomembrane and macromolecules. And it has been widely used in foods, medicines, cosmetics. Trehalose synthase (TreS) is an intramolecular transglycosylase. It can catalyze the conversion of maltose into trehalose in one step. As the simple protocol and cheap substrate, it is very prospect in the industrial production. Here we have discussed the properties, catalytic mechanism and gene-engineering of TreS, and also proposed some solutions to its present research problems.
