4.Review of Experiments in Higher Education in China in the Second Half of the 20th Century
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(03):-
A great number of experiments on education system, curriculum, teaching methods, administeration, selection and organization of knowledge were performed in higher education in China in the second half of the 20th century. As a whole ,we find that they changed from serving the political, economical and social needs to focusing on variables of experiments themselves. Selection and organization of knowledge became the theme of experiments. Effective means and methods of education constituted the key contents. However, while concerning scientificity and impartiality of the experiments were tested, their motive, process and results still need to be carefully examined.
5.On Cheating in College Entrance Examination in the Perspective of multi-subjects
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(04):-
Although under the aegis of severe supervision and punishment by the central administrators and the subordinates, cheating in college entrance examination is still a common phenomenon. Why?Economists attribute it to the game between risks and profits.Sociologists have different idea that cheating results from the prevailing disordered values.Educationists consider it to be the consequence of present education alienation. The purpose of adapting aspects of multi-subjects to analyze the problem is to probe into the truth of cheating and find out some more practical measures to prevent cheating.
6.Tetracycline inhibits the expression of adhesive molecules on activated endothelial cells
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(01):-
AIM To investigate the effects of tetracycline on the expression of adhesive molecules E selectin and intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM 1) on human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) stimulated by tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF ?) or lipopolysaccharide (LPS). METHODS HUVECs were activated by TNF ? (0 5~50 ?g?L 1 ) or LPS (0 5~50 mg?L -1 ). Tetracycline (10 -6 ~10 -4 mol?L -1 ) was used to incubate HUVECs for 1 h before stimulation with TNF ? ( 1 ?g?L -1 ) or LPS ( 5 mg?L -1 ) and co incubate HUVECs with TNF ? or LPS for 4 h or 18 h. The expression of adhesive molecules on HUVECs was measured by a cellular enzyme linked immunoabsorbent assay (Cell ELISA) method. RESULTS After stimulation of HUVECs with TNF ? or LPS for 4 h induced E selectin expression, and exposure HUVECs to TNF ? or LPS for 18 h increased constitutive expression of ICAM 1 compared with control group ( P
7.Efficacy of amiodarone in preventing reperfusion ventricular fibrillation in patients undergoing cardiac surgery
Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2021;37(3):168-172
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of amiodarone in preventing reperfusion ventricular fibrillation (RVF) in patients undergoing cardiac surgery. Methods:This study searched the databases of CNKI, Wanfang, Weipu, Cochrane, Embase, Web of Knowledge and PubMed, and searched the related research of amiodarone to prevent RVF in cardiac surgery patients, the time was until December 2019. Meta analysis was performed using Revman 5.3 software according to established standards. Results:The study included six studies (incorporating 514 patients). According to different intervention methods, 514 patients were divided into three groups, 196 in the amiodarone group, 153 in the lidocaine group, and 165 in the placebo group. The incidence of RVF was significantly lower in the amiodarone group than in the control group ( RR: 0.64, 95% CI: 0.47-0.86, P=0.003, I2=49%), but there was no significant difference between the amiodarone group and the lidocaine group( RR: 1.03, 95% CI: 0.48-2.22, P=0.94, I2=74%). Compared with the control group, amiodarone reduced the defibrillation frequency of RVF, but the difference was not statistically significant ( RR: 0.90, 95% CI: 0.68-1.20, P=0.48, I2=0). There was no difference in the number of defibrillation of RVF between the lidocaine group and the amiodarone groups ( RR: 1.50, 95% CI: 0.90-2.52, P=0.12, I2=38%). Conclusion:Compared with the control group, amiodarone can significantly reduce the incidence of RVF in patients undergoing cardiac surgery.

Journal of Integrative Medicine 2010;8(4):307-11
The research and development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) injections is an important innovation of modernization of TCM, which has great clinical value and irreplaceability in medical enterprise of China. But reports of adverse events of TCM injections gradually increased in recent years and the security problems received much concern with the enlargement of its application range. The reasons include unreliable herb sources and unreasonable utilization, in which the former includes historical reasons and non-unified standard and the latter includes combined use of Chinese and Western medicine, misused dosage and formula not corresponding to syndromes. We should face the problems, and preventive measures should be worked out by pharmaceutical factory, doctors and government. The first one is strictly guarding the pharmaceutical preparation procedures with advanced pharmaceutical technology; the second one is advocating the idea of formula corresponding to syndromes to minimize the occurrence of adverse effects; and the last one is strengthening the postmarketing reevaluation and market supervising management.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2014;(8):1137-1141
Aim Tostudytheeffectof4-phenlybuty-rate acid(4-PBA) on the heart function of diabetic rats and to explore its underlying mechanism. Methods MaleSprague-Dawley(SD)ratsweredividedintothree groups randomly: ( 1 ) control rats;( 2 ) diabetic rats;(3) 4-PBA treated diabetic rats. Type 1 diabetic mod-el was induced by single intraperitoneal injection of strepotozotocin (60 mg·kg-1 ) . After five weeks dia-betic model was established, diabetic rats were treated with 4-PBA by P. O at the dose of 1 g·kg-1 per day for 20 weeks. At the end of the experiment, hemody-namics of the left ventricle and main artery were detec-ted through right carotid artery cannulation in rats. The level of blood glucose, the activity of superoxide dis-mutase( SOD) and nitric oxide synthetase ( NOS) and the content of malondialdehyde ( MDA ) and nitric ox-ide( NO) of serum and myocardial tissue in rats were measuredbycolorimetry. Results Thetreatmentof4-PBA had no effect on blood glucose, the weight of body and heart, but slightly increased systolic and diastolic pressure of artery, heart rate, systolic pressure of left ventricular, maximum increase rate and minimum de-crease rate of left ventricular pressure( ± dp/dt) in di-abetic rats. It also slightly decreased diastolic pressure of left ventricular, shortened diastolic duration of left ventricular ( P > 0. 05 ) . Moreover, it significantly shortened relaxation time of left ventricular in diabetic rats (P<0. 05). In addition, the treatment of 4-PBA obviously enhanced the activity of SOD and NOS, NO content, and reduced the content of MDA in serum and heartofdiabeticrats(P<0.05).Conclusion 4-PBA has a potential protective effect on heart function in diabetic rats, which is achieved by ameliorating he-modynamics and significantly improving diastolic dys-function in diabetic rats. The underlying mechanism may be related to the inhibition of oxidative stress and promoting the genesis of NO in myocardial tissue.
