3.Review of Experiments in Higher Education in China in the Second Half of the 20th Century
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(03):-
A great number of experiments on education system, curriculum, teaching methods, administeration, selection and organization of knowledge were performed in higher education in China in the second half of the 20th century. As a whole ,we find that they changed from serving the political, economical and social needs to focusing on variables of experiments themselves. Selection and organization of knowledge became the theme of experiments. Effective means and methods of education constituted the key contents. However, while concerning scientificity and impartiality of the experiments were tested, their motive, process and results still need to be carefully examined.
4.On Cheating in College Entrance Examination in the Perspective of multi-subjects
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(04):-
Although under the aegis of severe supervision and punishment by the central administrators and the subordinates, cheating in college entrance examination is still a common phenomenon. Why?Economists attribute it to the game between risks and profits.Sociologists have different idea that cheating results from the prevailing disordered values.Educationists consider it to be the consequence of present education alienation. The purpose of adapting aspects of multi-subjects to analyze the problem is to probe into the truth of cheating and find out some more practical measures to prevent cheating.

6.Tetracycline inhibits the expression of adhesive molecules on activated endothelial cells
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(01):-
AIM To investigate the effects of tetracycline on the expression of adhesive molecules E selectin and intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM 1) on human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) stimulated by tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF ?) or lipopolysaccharide (LPS). METHODS HUVECs were activated by TNF ? (0 5~50 ?g?L 1 ) or LPS (0 5~50 mg?L -1 ). Tetracycline (10 -6 ~10 -4 mol?L -1 ) was used to incubate HUVECs for 1 h before stimulation with TNF ? ( 1 ?g?L -1 ) or LPS ( 5 mg?L -1 ) and co incubate HUVECs with TNF ? or LPS for 4 h or 18 h. The expression of adhesive molecules on HUVECs was measured by a cellular enzyme linked immunoabsorbent assay (Cell ELISA) method. RESULTS After stimulation of HUVECs with TNF ? or LPS for 4 h induced E selectin expression, and exposure HUVECs to TNF ? or LPS for 18 h increased constitutive expression of ICAM 1 compared with control group ( P
7.Efficacy of amiodarone in preventing reperfusion ventricular fibrillation in patients undergoing cardiac surgery
Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2021;37(3):168-172
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of amiodarone in preventing reperfusion ventricular fibrillation (RVF) in patients undergoing cardiac surgery. Methods:This study searched the databases of CNKI, Wanfang, Weipu, Cochrane, Embase, Web of Knowledge and PubMed, and searched the related research of amiodarone to prevent RVF in cardiac surgery patients, the time was until December 2019. Meta analysis was performed using Revman 5.3 software according to established standards. Results:The study included six studies (incorporating 514 patients). According to different intervention methods, 514 patients were divided into three groups, 196 in the amiodarone group, 153 in the lidocaine group, and 165 in the placebo group. The incidence of RVF was significantly lower in the amiodarone group than in the control group ( RR: 0.64, 95% CI: 0.47-0.86, P=0.003, I2=49%), but there was no significant difference between the amiodarone group and the lidocaine group( RR: 1.03, 95% CI: 0.48-2.22, P=0.94, I2=74%). Compared with the control group, amiodarone reduced the defibrillation frequency of RVF, but the difference was not statistically significant ( RR: 0.90, 95% CI: 0.68-1.20, P=0.48, I2=0). There was no difference in the number of defibrillation of RVF between the lidocaine group and the amiodarone groups ( RR: 1.50, 95% CI: 0.90-2.52, P=0.12, I2=38%). Conclusion:Compared with the control group, amiodarone can significantly reduce the incidence of RVF in patients undergoing cardiac surgery.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 2001;0(08):-
Objective Normal radiographic scaphoid lunate (SL) interval is thought to be 2 mm and abnormal SL interval is a prerequisite for diagnosing scapholunate instability. However, in the routine neutral rotation posterior anterior (PA) view of the wrist, the frequent overlapping between scaphoid and lunate precludes proper interpretation of the interval. Moreover, the normative data in Chinese population has not been reported. We developed a new but simple technique in radiological assessment to evaluate the normal SL interval in Chinese. Methods With the forearm in neutral rotation, a PA view of the wrist was taken using a mobile Xiscan. A radiolucent cushion was put underneath the hypothenar eminence so that the metacarpal arch of hand became parallel to the receiver table of the Xiscan. The normal supination posture of the wrist was thus corrected and the true SL interval was revealed. Two hundred normal wrists were examined; there were 46 female and 54 male healthy Chinese subjects, with age ranging from 18 to 80. The SL interval was determined with wrist in neutral, radially deviated and ulnarly deviated position using the cushioned neutral rotation PA view. The length of capitate, hamate and lunate were also measured to correlate with the SL interval. Results By using the standard PA view, the SL interval could not be determined in 60% of cases. Using the new assessment method, the optimal intervals were seen in all cases. The average SL interval was (2.07?0.65) mm. There was no significant gender difference. The measurement of ulnar variance was not affected by the new method. Conclusion The modified (Cushioned) PA view was the optimal radiological assessment method for true SL interval. There was wide variation of the normal value of the SL interval in Chinese population.
