ObjectiveTo study the proper braking and bed rest time for patients with TACE operation. Methods Divided 236 patients with TACE operation into the control group (100 cases) and the experimental group (136 cases) randomly. In the control group, the braking time and the bed rest time was 8 hours and 24 hours respectively, while in the experimental group, they were 5 hours and 12 hours respectively.Compared incidence rate of complication between the 2 groups. Objective:To analyze the biomechanics trait of one-piece computer aided design and com-puter aided manufacture ( CAD/CAM ) zirconia post and core by the three-dimensional finite element . Methods:The three-dimensional finite element models of three upper central incisors restored with one -piece CAD/CAM zirconia post and core ( group 1 ) , refabricated zirconia post and hot-pressed porcelain core ( group 2 ) , and cast gold alloy post and core ( group 3 ) were built by geometry method respectively . 100 N vertical loading through the central incisor models long axis and 100 N loading along directing at an angle of 45°with the models long axis were used to imitate the central incisor stress state in biting and mandible physiological protraction movement .Results:Under vertical loading , the restored teeth without dentin ferrule, the maximum Von-Mises stress value of the tooth root in group 1 was the least(11.02 N), which was the largest (13.17 N)in group 2.The stress became weaker from the upper to the lower of the tooth root.The maximum Von-Mises stress value of the tooth root , post and core became smaller while the restored teeth with the 2.0 mm high dentin ferrule.Under directing at an angle of 45°loading, without the design of dentin ferrule in the restored teeth , the maximum Von-Mises stress value of the post and core in group 1 was the greatest(20.45 N), while that stress of post and core in group 3 was the smallest (13.61 N).With 2.0 mm high dentin ferrule design in the restored teeth , the tooth root stress became weaker.The maximum Von-Mises stress value of the tooth root was the greatest (14.10 N) in group 3, but which was the lowest (13.38 N) in group 1.Conclusion:The results of the three-dimensional finite element analysis infers that one-piece zirconia post and core restoration is more beneficial to disperse the bite force than the prefabricated zirconia post and the cast gold alloy post and core .The one-piece of zirconia post and core is good to protect the teeth and keep the restoration intact .

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression level of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and microvessel density (MVD) in placenta tissue and placenta increta.Methods Thirty singleton pregnant women who received antenatal care and underwent cesarean section in Fujian Maternity and Child Health Hospital between November 2013 and August 2014,were enrolled in this study.They were divided into placenta previa group,placenta increta group and control group,with ten patients in each group.Placenta tissue was collected from each patient.Expressions of VEGF and its mRNA were detected by immunohistochemistry,Western blot,and real-time polymerase chain reaction.MVD in placenta tissue was measured by immunohistochemistry.Rank sum test,t test,Kruskal Wallis test,one-way ANOVA and Spearman correlation test were used for statistical analysis.Results (1) Gestational age at admission and delivery in placenta previa and placenta increta groups was lower than in control group (all P＜0.05).Compared with control group,the placenta previa and placenta increta groups had more blood loss,and longer operating duration and hospital stay (all P＜0.05).(2) The expression levels of VEGF and its mRNA in placenta increta and placenta previa groups were higher than in control group (VEGF:0.691±0.032,0.695 ± 0.027 and 0.518±0.025,respectively,F=373.401;VEGF mRNA:1.667±0.661,1.832±0.678 and 0.767±0.269,respectively,F=27.399;both P＜0.05).But there was no significant difference between placenta previa and increta groups.(3) There was no significant difference of VEGF expression in increta location,border site and normal site in placenta increta group,but its mRNA was decreasing (2.519± 0.116,1.482 ± 0.232 and 1.000± 0.000,respectively,F=240.827,P＜0.05).(4) Expression level of VEGF at the attachment of umbilical cord,upper and lower margin of placenta in placenta previa group was higher than in control group (0.702 ± 0.026 vs 0.528± 0.020,t=12.302;0.698 ± 0.026 vs 0.519±0.035,t=12.715;and 0.685±0.029 vs 0.509±0.010,respectively,t=17.891;all P＜0.05).Expression of VEGF mRNA in placenta previa group was higher than in control group (2.080± 0.539 vs 1.024±0.272,t=8.093;1.587±0.757 vs 0.546±0.083,t=2.401;1.828±0.704 vs 0.731 ±0.157,t=4.259;all P＜0.05).(5) MVD in placenta increta group and placenta previa group was higher than in control group (171.2± 14.7,155.7± 14.6 vs 147.8±12.3,respectively,F=7.277,P＜0.05).(6) Expression level of VEGF in placenta increta group and control group was positively associated with MVD (r=0.825,P＜0.05).Conclusions There may be some common mechanisms in the occurrence of placenta previa and placenta increta.Overexpression of VEGF in placenta and abnormal formation of villous vessels may be important factors in the pathogenesis of placenta increta.

Objective To investigate the serum levels of heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) in uremic patients with different dialysis ages.Methods Ninety-two maintenance haemodialysis patients were divided into short-term group(from three months to 2 years,n =32),median-term group(from 2 to 5 years,n =37) and longterm group(more than 5 years,n =23) according to different dialysis ages.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to measure the serum levels of HSP70 before and after haemodialysis in each group.Results The semm levels of HSP70 had significant difference both in median-term group and long-term group before and after haemodialysis(median-term group:(54.94 + 39.21) μg/L vs (69.72 + 39.90) μg/L,t =-2.068,P =0.047 ;long-term group:(46.17 +34.63) μg/L vs (74.07 ±41.11) μg/L,t =-2.814,P =0.010).But there was no statistics difference on the serum levels of HSP70 before and after haemodialysis in the short-term group((70.42 ±38.30) μg/L vs (62.89 ±43.01) μg/L,t =0.870,P =0.390).Conclnsion Haemodialysis patients with more stress protection ability are likely to obtain long term survival.

Objective To investigate the expression of interleukin-17 (IL-17) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and their relationship with pTNM staging.Methods IL-17 and MMP-9 expressions in cancer and adjacent tissues were detected from 102 cases of NSCLC by immunohistochemistry.x2 test was used to compare the ratio of their relationship with the pTNM stage.Results IL-17,MMP-9 expression rates in NSCLC cancer were 73.53 ％ (75/102),60.78 ％ (62/102)respectively,IL-17,MMP-9 expressions in different TNM stages were statistically significant correlated (P ＜ 0.05) respectively.The expression of IL-17 and MMP-9 in NSCLC tumor tissue were related statistically (P ＜ 0.05),and adjacent tissues were not related (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion IL-17,MMP-9 in NSCLC tissues were significant increased,both may be involved in invasion and metastasis of NSCLC,IL-17 and MMP-9 were correlated in NSCLC tumor tissue but not in adjacent tissues.

Objective: To measure the fracture strength of the posterior galvano-ceramic bridges made by Ni-Cr pontic fired bonding galvano caps with highly temperature-resistant adhesive and to provide re-ference data for clinical application. Methods: A standard low dental cast was achieved with 46 missing. Five posterior galvano-ceramic bridges made by Ni-Cr pontic fired bonding galvano caps, with abutments being 47 and 45 . The low dental cast was fixed on the panel of the universal testing machine, vertical load given on the central of the pontic as the velocity of 2 mm/min. Results: The fracture strength of the posterior galvano-ceramic bridges made by Ni-Cr pontic fired bonding galvano caps was (877.00?126.53) N, the fracture strength of the metal frame was (1 448.94?51.02) N. Conclusion: Posterior galvano-ceramic bridges made by Ni-Cr pontic fired bonding galvano caps could endure the normal human occlusal force.

Objective: To investigate HDAC5 expression in gastric cancer cell lines and its effects on the proliferation and apoptosis of the gastric cancer line SGC-7901. Methods: The expression patterns of HDAC5 and Twist1 in gastric cancer cell lines and normal gastric mucosal cells were detected by Western blot. The effects of HDAC5 and Twist1 on the proliferation and apoptosis of SGC-7901 cells were analyzed by MTT and flow cytometry, respectively. Results: The expression of HDAC5 and Twist1 in gastric cancer cell lines were significantly higher than that in normal gastric mucosal cells (P<0.05). HDAC5 knockdown significantly down-regulated Twist1 expression,inhibited cell proliferation, and induced apoptosis in SGC-7901 cells, whereas HDAC5 overexpression exhibited an opposite effect (P<0.05). Moreover, Twist1 knockdown significantly inhibited cell proliferation and induced apoptosis in SGC-7901 cells (P<0.05). Conclusion:HDAC5 may promote cell proliferation and inhibit apoptosis in gastric cancer cells by upregulating Twist1 expression, thus promoting the initiation and development of gastric cancer.

AIM: To investigate the effect of ambroxol on pulmonary and vascular injury in chronically hypoxic rats. METHODS: 36 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: normal control,chronically intermittent hypoxia(CIH) and ambroxol precaution group(AP).The CIH and AP groups were made into the chronically hypoxic models .The mean pulmonary artery pressure(PAPM) and the levels of plasma superoxide dismutase (SOD) and plasma nitric oxide (NO),lipid peroxide(LPO) were determined. The levels of the lung homogenates SOD, LPO, NO and the changes in pulmonary vascular structure were also examined. Objective To study the impact of Paeoniflorin (PF) on α-synuclein degradation pathway. Methods PC12 cells were treated with or without MPP+ (0.5mM) for 24 h, then treated with Paeoniflorin (50 uM) or Rapamycin (0.2 μg/ml) for 24 h. The proliferative activity of cells was detected with the MTT method , and then the protein expression levels of α-synuclein, microtubule-associated protein light chain 3 (LC3-II) and E1 were detected by Western Blot. The expressions of α-synuclein and LC3 were detected by confocal microscopy. Results (1) CAT and SOD activity were significantly decreased after PF and RAPA treatment compared with MPP+ (P < 0.001). (2)MPP+ activated both LC3-Ⅱand E1. MPP+ promoted the increase ofLC3-Ⅱ but inhibited E1. PF significantly upregulated both LC3-Ⅱ (autophagy) and E1 expression (ubiquitin-proteasome pathway) (P < 0.001), promoted degradation of α-synuclein, and reduced cell damage. (3) MPP+enhanced immunofluorescence signal of intracellular α-synuclein and LC3. Fluorescence intensity of α-synuclein decreasedafter PF treatment. Conclusion PF may significantly upregulate both autophagy and ubiquitin proteasome pathways, promote the degradation of α-synuclein and reduce cell damage. These findings suggest Paeoniflorin may be a potential therapy for neurodegenerative diseases.

‘Student-centered’ teaching model is the needs of higher medical education.In the process of education,we carried out comprehensive and systematic reforms by satisfying students' needs and improving students' ability as the main line.These reforms included change of teaching methods (the basic theory combined with clinical knowledge),increase of innovative experiments and change of evaluation system.These results showed that students were interested in these reforms,the innovation abilities of students were improved and students could pay more attention to the process of learning.
