Dynamin-related protein 1 (Drpl) is a major protein for regulating mitochondrial fission. Its activity is associated with the post-translational modification, mainly including phosphorylation, ubiquitination, sumoylation, and S-nitrosylation.During the cerebral ischemia,Drpl is activated and translocates from the cytoplasm to the mitochondrial outer membrane, mediates mitochondrial fission and eliminates damaged mitochondria.Drpl plays the important roles in the pathological processes of ischemic neuronal apoptosis, necrotic apoptosis, and mitophagy.Excessive mitochondria fission or accumulation of damaged mitochondria will aggravate neuronal injury.

Objective To resolve the difficulty in controlling the transfusion speed by medical personnel. Methods By using liquid drop sampling module, pulsing signals of liquid drop were obtained, and then they were enlarged, shaped and the wrong signals from the top and bottom surface of every drop were excluded before the standard triggered signals were sent out to SCM processing circuit, from which the real-time liquid drop speed and the average drop speed in every minute were obtained. Results Anti-interference and portable transfusion-drop counter could show the real-time liquid drop value and the average liquid drop value in every minute. Conclusion Anti-interference and portable transfusion-drop counter is convenient with simple structure and has been used in clinic.

Objective To evaluate hernia repair with Onlay (premuscular positioning of the prosthesis) for the treatment of parastomal hernia. Methods In this study 45 patients with parastomal hernia were treated with a tension-free manner of hernia repair in situ by Onlay using prolene mesh between February 2006 and April 2012.There were 24 males and 21 female cases, including 6 recurrent parastomal hernia cases. The average age was (49 ±8) years ranging from 43 to 80.The parastomal defect ranged from 4 cm to 9 cm.Results All operations were successful. There was no hospital death or severe postoperative complications. The mean operating time was (109 ± 23) min (96-148),and the average time of pulling out the gastrointestinal decompression tube was (2.0 ± 2.0) day (12 h-3 d) and the drainage tube was removed after (5.0 ± 2.0) days (4-9 d).The mean postoperative hospitalization was (11 ± 3) days (9-16 d).42 cases achieved primary healing. The serofluid swelling in 7 cases was cured by puncturing and pressing the incision.41 cases were followed-up from 8 to 48 months, and 4 patients suffered from hernia recurrence respestively after 3 months,4 months,4.5 months and 7 months. One recurrent case was healed by conservative therapy and the other three were healed by reoperation. Conclusions Hernia repair in situ with Onlay method for parastomal hernia with prolene mesh was a safe and effective.

Objective: To investigate the temperature control methods for long-distance transportation of red blood cell suspensions in military affairs or emergence. Methods: We loaded blood transport cars with red blood cell suspensions to full capacity and kept the temperature by combined cooling methods. Results: The temperature in the container was kept between 2-6.2℃ during the 72 h transportation, even when the refrigeration system of the car was out of work. Conclusion: The required temperature for long-distance transportation of red blood cell suspensions could be attained by combined cooling methods in case of insecurity of transportation time and the effect of single cooling method.

Objective To develop field medical card based on RFID for storage of casualty information and the sharing in evacuation. Methods Making use of radio frequency identification technology (RFID technology),TEKLOGIX 7527C palm script RFID reader from Canada was adopted with software of Visual Studio 2005 and C# to design and produce the card. Results The basic information of combatants can be entered into the card, and the casualty and cure information could be inquiry, revision and update at any time through the RFID technology. Conclusion After trial in large -scale military exercise, the effect is satisfied.

Objective To explore the accuracy and practical significance of the 3-dimensional (3D) reconstruction of the liver and the abdominal blood vessels based on the data of 64-slice spiral computerized tomography (64S-SCT). Methods The 2D images of the liver and the abdominal blood vessels were collected after TLC-scanning with 64S-SCT. The 3D images of the liver, hepatic internal duct system and the abdominal blood vessels were reconstructed by the medical image processing system. The volume of the 3D reconstructed liver was compared with that of the actual liver measured by the 64S-SCT, and the portal vein of the reconstructed liver model was compared with that reconstructed by the Mxview workstation based on the 64S-SCT data. Results The 3D models of the liver, hepatic internal duct system and abdominal blood vessels were vivid, and could be revolved and observed at any direction. The spatial relationship among main intrahepatic ducts was clearly displayed. The actual liver volume and the condition of the intrahepatic ducts were accurately demonstrated. The reconstructed liver, the branches of the hepatic artery and portal vein, and the abdominal blood vessels were simultaneously displayed by adjusting the transparency of the liver model. The portal vein of the reconstructed liver model completely matched that reconstructed by the Mxview workstation based on the 64S-SCT data. Conclusions The 3D models of the liver, hepatic internal duct system and abdominal blood vessels reflect the human anatomy structure, and provide reliable virtual organs and vessel system for virtual liver surgery.
