Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2016;15(4):415-418
Objective By taking cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) resident standardization training skills practice as an example,to explore how to improve the ability of resident operating on the clinical skills. Methods 58 resident physicians in the hospital standardized training were selected, and through training and assessment of cardiopulmonary resuscitation skill training, the result was compared, and statistical analysis was made on the overall pass rate, the performance after the training, and the pass rate of operation.Result Comparison of the data was done by the t test, and pass rate by chi square result 48 people passed the training and examination, and the pass rate was 82.76%.The operation scores before and after training were:General (78.5 ± 6.44) vs.(89.2 ± 6.12),Department of gynecology and Obstetrics (74.3 ± 6.54) vs.(87.0 ± 6.34) of (70.6 ± 6.78) vs.(87.3 ± 6.31),rehabilitation medicine (70.2 ± 6.81) vs.(85.6 ± 6.77),Department of Stomatology (69.80 ± 7.07) vs.(82.80 ± 6.89),psychiatric (69.4 ± 7.19) vs.(80.4 ± 6.91),Department of medical imaging (69.30 ± 7.20) vs.(78.80 ± 6.94),(64.00 ± 7.25 test vs.) (76.5 ± 6.99),and the differences were statistically significant. After the training, the average score of the general professional training was 89.2,the highest score, while the average score of students trained in professional inspection department was 76.5 points, the lowest score.Chest compressions and artificial respiration, electrode plate installation project operation were the worst.Students pressed 80 times/min before but now increased to 90 seconds;as for artificial respiration, students often extended more than 30 seconds;the electrode plate installation project operation, extended more than 25 seconds. Conclusion The pass rate of different professional training and the performance before and after professional training have differences,so theory and practice need to be combined to carry out scientific and reasonable training so as to improve the train-ing residents' clinical skills.

Objective To explore the indoor air pollution and its health effects in newly decorated rooms. Methods Indoor air sampling was conducted in rooms of 13 newly decorated apartments during the period from the 1st day to the 4th day, the 2nd month and the 6th month after the decoration. The levels of formaldehyde, benzene, o-dimthylbenzene, m-dimethylbenzene, para-dimethylbenzene in air samples were analyzed. An epidemiological investigation on the adverse response of eye and respiratory system was carried out among the family members before and after decoration. Results The levels of formaldehyde, benzene and dimethylbenzene in indoor air exceeded ther related standards more than 2.92 times, 7.4-11.3 times, 58.2-87.1 times respectively, and showed a decreasing trend with the prolongation of time after decoration. The positive rates of shedding tears and sneezing, branchitis or cough, asthma, dizziness among family members were 0%, 3.0%, 3.0%, 0% respectirely before decoration and rose to 24.2%, 7.6%, 6.1%, 7.6% respectively after decoration. Conclusion The indoor decoration resulted in the indoor air pollution by formaldehyde and benzene compounds, the contamination degree showed a positive correlation with the degree of complicated decoration and was associated with the quality of decorative materials. Indoor decoration also resulted in the increasing positive rates of adverse response of eye and respiratory system.

AIM: To investigate the effects of nitric oxide on ultrastructure and anionic sites of glomerular in renal ischemia reperfusion injured(I-RI) rats.METHODS: Animals were divided randomly into five groups:(1) sham group(n=6);(2) I-RI group(n=6),0.3 mL normal saline was injected via venae lingualis 20 min before ischemia;(3) SNP+I-RI group(n=6),2.5 ?g/kg sodium nitroprusside(SNP) was injected via venae lingualis 20 min before ischemia;(4) AG+I-RI group(n=6),10 mg/kg aminoguanidine(AG) was injected via venae lingualis 20 min before ischemia;(5) L-NNA+I-RI group(n=6),10 mg/kg N~?-nitro-L-arginine(L-NNA) was injected via venae lingualis 20 min before ischemia.Anionic sites of glomerular were studied with a cationic probe-polyethyleneimine(PEI) and ultrastructure was observed under electron microscope in renal I-RI rats.RESULTS:(1) Ultrastructure of glomerular was normal and anionic sites(AS) was located clearly in lamina rare externa of GBM in sham rats. The PEI particles arranged regularly in line(19.3?1.7/(1 000 nm)) under electronic microscope.Obvious foot processes derangement and effacement were observed and the AS number in GBM of I-RI group was fewer(16.6?1.0/(1 000 nm),P0.05).CONCLUSION: Foot process effacement and reduction of anionic sites were present in glomerular filtration membrane in renal I-RI rats.NO aggravated those injuries, indicating that NO plays a role in the ultrastructure damages of glomerular filtration membrane in I-RI rats.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2017;21(16):2527-2533
BACKGROUND: With age and blood pressure increasing, the damaged elastic membrane induced by degenerative vascular matrix results in calcium and collagen deposition, and finally expanded large arteries and aortas are easy to cause arteriosclerosis. OBJECTIVE: To compare the rheological properties of the common carotid artery in the youth and elderly, thus providing a basis for the study on the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis of the common carotid artery. METHODS: Common carotid arteries were respectively removed from the young and elderly cadavers. Ten samples from each group were randomly selected, and subjected to stress relaxation and creep tests. Meanwhile, one sample from each group was selected for histological observation. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The stress at 7200 s in the young group was significantly decreased compared with the elderly group (P < 0.05). The strain at 7200 s in the young group was significantly increased compared with the elderly group (P < 0.05). Scanning electron microscope observed that in the elderly group, there were lipid plaques and foam cell accumulation; the internal elastic lamina and middle elastic plate presented with degeneration, rupture and disintegration; and there were abundant plaques and inflammatory cells in the intimal and media, which characterized as atherosclerosis. While no lipid plaques were found in the young group. These results indicate that the elastic fibers and collagen fibers in the common carotid artery arrange in disorder as age increases, and the rheological properties are also changed.

Objective To investigate the predictive value of rectal aberrant crypt foci(ACF)for colorectal cancer(CRC)and progressive adenomas, and to analyze its risk factors. Methods IndependentSample T test, One-Way ANOVA and Chi-square test were used to analyze the mean number and incidence of rectal ACF.Logistic regression analysis was used to assess the predictive value of rectal ACF for progressive adenomas and CRC, and to identify the independent risk factors of ACF.Results Large number of ACF, i.e.more than 5, was a significant risk factor for CRC and progressive adenomas.Age and smoking were both risk factors of ACF, while aspirin was a protective factor. Conclusion ACF of more than 5 is predictive of CRC and progressive adenomas. For prevention of CRC, great importance must be attached to risk factors of ACF.

A high-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC) method was successfully developed for the preparative separation and purification of deoxyschizandrin from Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus in one step. The purity of deoxyschizandrin was 98.5%, and the structure was identified by MS, UV and NMR. This method was simple, fast, convenient and appropriate to prepare pure compound as reference substances for related research on Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus.
