Objective To make a summary of radiation-induced changes in ocular lens and retinal lesions based on dynamic follow-up of a patient exposed to a radiation exposure from 192 Ir source accident,in order to provide the information and experience for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of such injury in emergency of a nuclear or radiation accident. Methods The examination methods included eye lens and visual acuity,slit-lamp examination, fundus examination, automated perimetry, optical coherence tomography (OCT) examination, fundus photography, and fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA).The patient was followed-up for 20 months.Comparative analyses were made of the follow-up results. Results One month after 192Ir radiation exposure, the visual acuities in both eyes were 1.0.Mild age-related opacities were observed in peripheral cortex, but the fundus looked normal.Twenty months later, the patient was followed-up.The visual acuities reduced to about 0.6,evident powder-and punctuate-like opacities could be observed in the cortex of the right lens, and mild turbid foci in the posterior polar and capsule.Multiple scotomata appeared in the superior temporal and inferior nasal in the right eye.The macular fovea thickness was not changed significantly in the right eye.Examination with fundus photography demonstrated mild optical nerve atrophy, drusens, and pale optic discs, while FFA examination showed punctuate or flocculent leakages in both eyes. Conclusions The lens opacity could be induced or accelerated by radiation exposure. In addition to the posterior capsule and pole cataracts, punctuate opacity within cortical layer may also occur. It also suggests that cataract and fundus injuries may occur later during long-term follow-up,even though the eyes may look normal during early examination after the patient exposed to the radiation.

Objective:To explore the surgical method and clinical effect of correcting lateral type alar retraction with intercartilaginous graft and lateral crural strut graft. Methods:A retrospective study was performed on the data of patients with moderate to severe lateral alar retraction treated in Shenzhen Mylike Medical Plastic Aesthetic Hospital from October 2018 to June 2020. During the operation, lower lateral cartilages was totally dissected and strengthened by lateral crural strut graft while scroll area was released and lengthened with intercartilaginous graft to correct lateral type alar retraction. The preoperative and postoperative distance from the nostril’s long axis to the alar rim was measured from the side view, the nasal measurements were expressed as Mean±SD, and paired t-test was used for statistical analysis. Results:A total of 32 patients were enrolled, including 5 males and 27 females, with an average age of 31 years (18-47 years). Twenty-three cases underwent primary rhinoplasty and 9 cases underwent second rhinoplasty. The preoperative data of distance from the nostril’s long axis to the alar rim was (4.1±0.5) mm (3.2-5.0 mm). The postoperative effect of nasal alar retraction defomity correction was obvious. After a follow-up period of 20 cases from 6 to 18 months, the distance from the nostril’s long axis to the alar rim was 1.5-2.8 mm [(2.1±0.3) mm on average]. Comparison of preoperative and postoperative measured values showed statistically significant difference ( P<0.01). There was 1 patient emerged complication alar flaring, and no contracture and deformation of the nasal rim occurred. All of patients were satisfied. Conclusions:The intercartilaginous graft combined with lateral crural strut graft is an effective new method for correction of lateral type alar retraction. It has stable clinical effect and high satisfaction.

Objective:
To understand the relationship between residential neighborhood green space and mental health of middle school students, so as to provide a theoretical basis for mental health promotion among of middle school students at the level of residential environment.
Methods:
From October to December 2023, 1 258 students from three junior high schools and two general high schools in Panlong, Wuhua, Chenggong, and Guandu districts of Kunming City were selected by stratified cluster random sampling method. Conducting onsite questionnaire survey using the Mental Health Inventroy of Middle School students, residential neighborhood green space were evaluated using normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI). Analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis and linear regression analysis were used to analyze the relationship between as green space in residential neighborhoods and the mental health of middle school students.
Results:
The average mental health score of middle school students in Kunming was (2.02± 0.69 ), of which 447 (37.92%) had mild mental health problems, 107 (8.51%) had moderate mental health problems, and 12 ( 0.95% ) had more severe mental health problems. Mental health scores of middle school students varied significantly by gender, grade, and family income ( t/F =6.99, 7.15, 3.70, P <0.05). Correlation analysis showed that NDVI_250 m, NDVI_500 m, and NDVI_1 000 m were all negatively correlated with the total mental health scores of middle school students ( r =-0.07,-0.09, -0.10 , P <0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender, grade, NDVI_250 m, NDVI_500 m, and NDVI_1 000 m were infuencing factors on the mental health of middle school students( B =0.25,0.05,-0.47,-0.67,-0.78, P <0.05).
Conclusions
Mental health of middle school students in Kunming is related to green space in different buffer zones around residences. The mental health education of middle school students should be strengthened, especially for girls and senior students, optimizing resources to reduce pressure, and improving the quality of green space in residential communities to improve the mental health of adolescents.

Osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture (OVCF) can lead to lower back pain and may be even accompanied by scoliosis, neurological dysfunction and other complications, which will affect the daily activities and life quality of patients. Vertebral augmentation is an effective treatment method for OVCF, but it cannot correct unbalance of bone metabolism or improve the osteoporotic status, causing complications like lower back pain, limited spinal activities and vertebral refracture. The post-operative systematic and standardized rehabilitation treatments can improve curative effect and therapeutic efficacy of anti-osteoporosis, reduce risk of vertebral refracture, increase patient compliance and improve quality of life. Since there still lack relevant clinical treatment guidelines for postoperative rehabilitation treatments following vertebral augmentation for OVCF, the current treatments are varied with uneven therapeutic effect. In order to standardize the postoperative rehabilitation treatment, the Spine Trauma Group of the Orthopedic Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association organized relevant experts to refer to relevant literature and develop the "Guideline for postoperative rehabilitation treatment following vertebral augmentation for osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture (2022 version)" based on the clinical guidelines published by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) as well as on the principles of scientificity, practicality and advancement. The guideline provided evidence-based recommendations on 10 important issues related to postoperative rehabilitation treatments of OVCF.
