Objective To improve the understanding of cardiac valve involvement in Behcet's disease (BD).Methods The echocardiographic manifestations of 13 patients with BD were analysed and the results of 5 patients were compared with those of operation. Results Cardiac valve involvement wasn't rare.In the study, cardiac valve involvement was observed in 26% (13/50) of patients with BD.The principal manifestations of cardiac valve involvement were valve prolapse, perforation, split and regurgitation.Four (80%) patients had repeated operation. Conclusion Echocardiography provides the important information of valvular morphology and function in BD.

Objective To evaluate the unusual echocardiographic manifestation and its clinical value in the patients with constrictive pericarditis (CP). Methods To analyse the echocardiographic manifestation of CP in 187 patients retrospectively, especially left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and variation with respiration (VER) in mitral E velocity. Results Most of the patients with CP expressed the common echocardiographic features of CP. But some unusual echocardiographic signs were revealed. (1)LVEF

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effects and side effects of FLAG and MEA regimen in the treatment of relapsed and refractory adult acute myeloid leukemia. Methods Use retrospective analysis to Observe the therapeutic effects and side effects of the 51 cases of relapsed and refractory adult acute myeloid leukemia (M3 except) from January 2009 to June 2012 in our hospital, which are divided into FLAG group (23 cases) and MEA group (28 cases) according to chemotherapy. Results In FLAG group, the rate of complete remission was 30.4 % (7/23),the rate of partial remission was 17.4 % (4/23),the effective rate was 47.8 % (11/23).In MEA group, the rate of complete remission was 35.7 % (10/28),the rate of partial remission was 21.4 % (6/28),the effective rate was 57.1% (16/28),difference between two groups was not statistically significant. Both groups appeared Ⅳ degrees myelosupression, and there were no significant differences between them on incidences of secondary infection [95.7 % (22/23) vs 89.3 % (25/28)] and haemorrhagia [82.6 % (19/23) vs 85.7 % (24/28)].Difference on cardiac toxicity was statistically significant. Conclusions Compared with MEA regimen, FLAG regimen are similar effective and can be well tolerated, which has lower cardiac toxicity. Thus, FLAG regimen can be used as first-line treatment for relapsed and refractory adult acute myeloid leukemia.

Using Mortierella isabellina as starting strain, mutagenized with UV,screened by selecting mutants resisting maleic hydrazide,a fatty acid dehydrogenase inhibitor, directly on gradient plate,a mutant M 80 overproducing Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) was obtained, which has much higher productive qualities than its parental strain Its dry cell weight reaches 25 10g/L,lipid yield 12 35g/L,and GLA yield 771 88mg/L

Objective To observe the improvement of Guangdong Liangcha Granules (GLG) on restraint-stress-induced peroxidation in genital organs of mice. Meth ods Mice models of peroxidation injury in genital organs were induced by 18-hou r restraint stress. Testicular and ovarian malondialdehyde (MDA) level was detec ted by thiobarbituric acid method, glutathione (GSH) content by HPLC,xanthine o xidase (XOD) and GSH-PX activities by colorimetric method, nitric oxide (NO) co ntent by Griess chemical method and oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) by enzyme-linked fluorescent immunoassay. Results Compared with model group,GLG can markedly reduce MDA level,XOD acitivity and NO contents,in addition,GLG c an effectively increase the ORAC value,GSH content,GSH-PX activity in testis and ovaries. Conclusion Oral treatment of Guangdong Liangcha Granules was found to reduce the status of peroxidation in testis and ovaries, and the improvement may be related to the increase of its free radical scavenging activity and lipid peroxidation.

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection remains a serious global health problem, which can lead to acute and chronic liver diseases and a variety of complications. HBV vaccination, which induces B cells to secrete protective hepatitis B surface antibody (HBsAb), is an important measure to prevent HBV infection. Some studies have shown that different individuals have different responses to HBV vaccine, which can be divided into ultra-high/high, normal/medium and low/non-response. Research on the potential mechanisms can provide reference for the preparation of high-titer HBsAb and the prevention and treatment of HBV infection. This paper reviewed the research situation and progress in the characteristics and mechanism of B cells in different responders after HBV vaccination.

Objective: To study the e ects of Heying Anxin Fang on cardiac function and intracellular Ca2+ concentration in cadiocyte of chronic congestive heart failure rats. Methods: Animal models of heart failure were induced by subcutaneous injection of a large dose of ISO, and were randomly divided into model group, Shenmai injection group, captopril group, high, middle and low dosages of Heyinganxin Fang group and normal group with 9 in each group. To determine the indexes of LVSP, LVEDP, +dp/dtmax ,-dp/dtmax and heart weight, and determine Ca2+ concentration in cardiomyocytes by ow cytometer. Results: Compared with normal group, the indexes of heart weight, Ca2+ concentration and LVEDP in model group increased, but indexes of LVSP, +dp/dtmax, -dp/dtmax decreased obviously(P
