1.Current research on breast cancer stem cells
Journal of International Oncology 2009;36(11):846-850
Tumor may generate from tumor stem cell and the microenvironment, and cancer stem cells are derived from the mutation of normal stem cells according to cancer stem cells hypothesis. Breast cancer stem cells are the first identified cancer stem cells in solid tumor. Breast cancer stem cells have been isolated successfully by many kinds of strategies, and their biological behaviors are gradually studied deeply. Self-renewal and differentiation of breast cancer stem cells are regulated by microenviroment and many signaling pathways. Therapy targeting breast cancer stem cells is gradually becoming the focus of tumor targeted therapy study.

4.Levels of “Three Yin and Three Yang” syndrome differentiation
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(2):102-105
“Three Yin and Three Yang” syndrome differentiation is a method and system generated from “Treatise on Febrile Diseases”. And it is a principle of syndrome differentiation and a criterion of treatment. Modern physicians give many descriptions on levels of “Three Yin and Three Yang” syndrome differentiation. There are a lot of different opinions on it, including “Yin and Yang”, ”three steps of Cluster analysis”, “one divided into two” combining with “one divided into three”, and “three steps of recognizing symptom, understanding disease and differentiating syndrome” theories. The author believes “Three Yin and Three Yang”syndrome differentiation consists of three levels:differentiating syndrome principle, differentiating syndrome category and differentiating syndrome type. Strengthening research on levels of syndrome differentiation helps to improve accuracy of syndrome differentiation, guide drug description and enhance clinical efficacy.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2008;24(14):70-71
Objective To Study the supplementary effect of internet communication technologydoctor-patient communication information system in the health education of patients in hand surgery department. Methods We divided 200 outpatients as well as 200 inpatients in hand surgery department into the control group and the test group with 100 cases in each group. We gave health education to the test group by sending short messages using doctor-patient communication information system. The control group received health education by routine method. The incidence rate of complications after operation in the two groups of inpatients and two groups of outpatients was compared. Results Statistical difference existed between the test group and the control group of inpatients and the test group and the control group of outpatients. Conclusions The application of internet communication technology of doctor-patient communication information system in the health education for patients in hand surgery department could effectivelydecrease the incidence rate of complications after operation.

9.Total hip arthroplasty for determining the position of the prosthesis and the biomechanical properties
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(26):3811-3816
BACKGROUND:During total hip arthroplasty, it is difficult to accurately determine the exact orientation of the pelvis. Pelvic position is prone to change during treatment. After prosthesis implantation, angle deviation easily occurs. The surgeon is difficult to accurately determine the position and orientation of the prosthesis. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of prosthesis position during total hip arthroplasty by using three-dimensional computer-aided technique, and to analyze the biomechanical properties of the prosthesis in total hip arthroplasty. METHODS:Data of ten patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty in theAffiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical University from January to November 2015 were analyzed. SIEMENS/DEFINITION dual source CT was used to scan the skeleton of patients. CT data were colected as a basis for data in modeling. Slice thickness was 0.732 mm; resolution of the inner surface was 512 × 512. CT data were imported in three-dimensional reconstruction software of a computer. The models of femur and pelvis were established. According to the type of fracture, false models of total hip arthroplasty were established. Simultaneously, biomechanical prosthesis models were established. We determined research methods of prosthesis position by computer-aided techniques and analyzed biomechanical properties in total hip arthroplasty. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) The use of computer-aided technology couldclearly show the defect site. After determining the defect position using computer-aided techniques, prosthesis implantation and repair effect could be simulated in the software. (2) The computer-aided through technologycould accurately determine the vertical weight of the human. The acetabular center of rotation was used as the origin. A vertical paralel line was generated. The sagittal and coronal planes of the prosthesis could be set in new coordinates. (3) With the aid of computer, total hip prosthesis models were constrained and loaded, which lay the foundation for the operation through the model development. (4) The 10 patients achieved successful surgery. The position of prosthesis was correct in ninepatients, with a success rate of 90%. Patients were folowed up for 3 months. The patients did not have other complications. (5) These results suggest that computer-aided technology can do three-dimensional construction and analysis of the prosthesis, andcan construct the position of the prosthesis during total hip arthroplasty according to three-dimensional reconstruction of the digitized pelvis model so as to achieve precise positioning of surface hip prostheses, which can prevent excessive wear of the joint, make pelvis closer to the physiological state of the mechanical distribution, and achieve the desired effect.
10.Deguelin down-regulates the expression of cyclin D1 gene in zebrafish embroys through the whole mount in situ hybridization
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(15):2382-2386
BACKGROUND:In the early development of zebrafish embryos, cels divide and proliferate rapidly, but low concentration of deguelin can delay the development of zebrafish embryos.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of different concentrations of deguelin on cyclin D1 gene expression in zebrafish embryos.
METHODS:Though normal fertilization, zebrafish embryos that incubated to the 2-cel stage (about 0.75 hour after fertilization) and shield stage (6 hours after fertilization) were colected and put into 12-wel plates treated with 100, 200, 400 nmol/L deguelin at 28.5℃in an incubator til the shield period and 24 hours after fertilization, respectively. Simultaneously embroys treated with 1% dimethyl sulfoxide solution were as a control group, cultured in the same conditions. Cyclin D1 RNA probes were prepared for the whole mountin situhybridization, observing staining by an upright fluorescent microscope camera to detect the effect of deguelin on cyclin D1 expression in zebrafish embryos.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Deguelin showed significant negative regulation on the expression of cyclin D1 gene in zebrafish embryos. Cyclin D1 expressed in outsourcing cels in embryos of shield stage, and a significant reduction in the expression of cyclin D1 came up with the increasing concentrations of deguelin. In the 400 nmol/L deguelin treatment group, there was nearly no expression of cyclin D1. Cyclin D1 expressed in the brain, central nervous system, immature eye, somites, trunk, and tail of embryos at 24 hours after fertilization, and reduced significantly in the 100 nmol/L deguelin treatment group, especialy in the proliferative area. In the 200 and 400 nmol/L treatment groups, the embryonic development slowed down signficantly, and cyclin D1 gene mainly expressed in the dorsal ectoderm cels.
